I may as well face facts, I'm never gonna get my stories finished. I got no time, no will, or even the imagination or memory of characterization to pull it all off.
So I'm just gonna summarize the series of events and get it all out in the open.
I'll begin with the incomplete story "Assault on Star Force".
Following 3 incidents involving Star Force, Alex 13 has been listening on their chatter frequencies. The code "Maverick 01" has him concerned, in addition to salvage activities and missions into space.
Jessie Winkler's freedom is threatened as suspicions rise against the meta community. Her father still does not know of her double life as a robot morpher, and is considering keeping her and her sisters sheltered amid the uncertain future.
Jenny Wakeman wants to become more active with the Tremorton Heroes as she becomes more and more overshadowed, not yet realizing her own importance to everyone.
Champ Mars is struggling to keep as much of the public on the meta's side as possible following Hayt's rampage in the guise of Zero, whose body has still not been recovered.
Alex does his best to rally the Tremorton Heroes, but his recent falling out with Jenny weakens his influence. Champ however wishes to kept in the loop. He has suspicions that Hayt was helped by Star Force.
In the meantime, Nike(Second in command of Star Force) is preparing to meet with the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon.
Things go south quickly when SF troops try to terminate Alex, who is rescued by Champ.
Dr Wakeman is also attacked by SF troops. They steal vital blueprints and all information referring to the XJ-Series. Jenny arrives just in time to save her mother's life, with the help of Jessie.
In the battle, they discover that the troops are using advanced versions of the robonizer that Jessie uses to turn into a half machine. The troops were also nearly indestructible, making the battle very difficult without the extra help of Champ and Alex.
All four agree that Star Force needs to be dealt with. They attack Star Force HQ in retaliation.
Soon they confront SF leader, General Baalam. Champ attempts to strong arm him into backing off, but to no avail. Baalam reveals that he purposely provoked them into attacking.
Like the villain he is, he goes to explain how Star force was able to achieve power thanks to the "Son of Nero". Of course, they have no idea what he is talking about.
Aven Nero was a scientist who worked under Skyway Patrol, and as a child Baalam was his bully. Nero dreamed of a world where the atrocities of intimidation and dominance would cease to exist. Baalam firmly believes in survival of the fittest, seeing it as the true balance of the world. He would prove this by destroying the Metas. He has no interest in coexistence.
Nero died long ago, and Baalam wanted to make sure his dream never came true. To shove salt into the wound, he insisted that Nero's work was all government property. At that Baalam opens a chamber in his office.
In there, the heroes see the remains of Zero, wires binding and connecting to him. Star force studied his body and programming to strengthen their troops, but the data was incomplete, as though a puzzle piece was left out.
Enraged, Jessie lashes out at Baalam, severely injuring him. Jenny hold her back, knowing that's what he wants. Champ and Alex recover Zero, but he is still dead. Alex confirms that Zero is "truly gone", not sensing any form of consciousness or recoverable mental data.
Champ covers Zero in his cape and carries him out of the HQ, Baalam laughing as they leave. Jessie is driven to tears over what had been done to Zero, as though he hadn't suffered enough.
Back at Wakeman's lab, Nora shares the rest of the story of Aven Nero. They worked together on Armageddroid. Furthermore, he was her former teacher. She knew he was a tortured and sad man, but had a good soul. Together they went on to developed the program language of the XJ-Series. Nero disappeared with his part of the research, leaving Nora to refine the XJ programming on her own. By this time he surely was dead.
Looking over Zero's body, Nora confirms that his father was in fact Dr Aven Nero, thus making XJ-0 half-brother to the XJ sisters.
At that moment, and announcment is made all around the world declaring all Metas outlaws. Footage of the attack on SFHQ was sent to the Pentagon, where Nike requested a declaration of war. The motion was granted.
All seems lost.
Baalam appears on TV and says, "The is war. It's time to get up and fight."
Champ replies stating, "Let's do this."
Next summary: "Next New World".
