There is a slight continuity, shown by the return of Zecora and references to the Grand Galloping Gala. However, it's out of order. Faust and the writing staff are basically creating a continuity of their own, despite the higher-ups wanting it to basically be random. We just have to piece it together ourselves, as far as the bronies on /co/ are concerned. And about those blog posts.....I agree with the comments. The blogger never bothered to watch the show and was just going by a quick snippet off of hasbro's website. Good of Lauren to take the time to address such things, though the controversy isn't over.....but, as with all publicity, it will merely gain more attention, ratings, and money because of it.

There's a difference between a full-blown "Continuity" and "Continuity Nod."

Apparently it must be making a ton of money because all the stores I've been to that carry the new toys are dry on pony goods... unless they're the previous generation's abomination, which nobody wants.

Look at the pony at the bottom left of the class picture. It's Derpy.

Look at the pony at the bottom left of the class picture. It's Derpy. The dark pink one seems to stand out too much. It's like she tanned way too much. Real women have the same problem

Im surprised that the show is very popular around the internet. Yes, the love for this thing is very...Disturbing. It's basically Care Bears without Grumpy Bear. I think we're just desperate. If this is the only cartoon currently on TV with any merit, then animation as an artform is officially dead.

Actually, it's because this cartoon is very excellent- unlike the Care Bears one- where all you need to defeat the big bad is a bottle full of your own tears and a girl who's good at crying. In this case, the ponies don't mess around. They will murder bison with apple pies if they need to. Also, Care Bears doesn't reference 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apocalypse Now, and the A-Team.

By every belief system ever... I'm not even a fan of Japanese anime, but even I think that this is a sin against everything.

It's actually a guessing game on how Rainbow Dash got her butt stamp. Those of us that have been watching the show will know.

I gave in! I watched some episodes (the guy who does VGCats suggested so). Why? WHY am I compelled to watch more?! Gotta admit, there are some funny bits!
