Pony murder? I approve.

I'm sure you would, but I have nothing against ponies. I'm merely considering it at an artistic level and a integrity level. Sweeney Todd has more punch to it's story if there is murder involved, or at least implied (since, the story is about a homicidal barber). But because this story I'm doing isn't PURELY a Sweeney Todd story, I now have options... To make this crossover work, i need to figure out what road to take, either a road caked in blood, or one clean of death, and i need to make sure the one i take is the one that would produce the better fanfiction.

It's probably happened to many other fans, but i decided to watch one episode to see if it really is all cracked up to be (considering it's from the minds that made PPG and Foster's gave it a few extra points before-hand, making me less skeptical). After i watched one episode... i kept watching more... until i stopped at episode 16, because it was 3 am, and i was tired. My first thought just before i went to bed was "Damnit, i'm a Brony". Hell, ever since i finished watching season 1 (twice), i've already been starting up a fanfiction (a crossover with Sweeney Todd, where i have yet to decide if murder will be part of it or not). Yeah, pretty much those first two paragraphs for me too. Ha! At this restaurant we ate at earlier tonight, a baseball game was showing and when I saw MLB, instead of thinking Major League Baseball, I thought My Little Brony. It's infected my mind so much! By the way, does brony only apply to boys since it's bro and pony mixed up or what? A crossover with Sweeney Todd? As Nancy Drew says: " This should be interesting."

I've already posted a chapter 1 (and an image on my DA page of what poor ol' Benjamin Barker looks like as a pony). I'm working on chapter 2... but, at the same time, I'm trying to think about which direction I should take the fic in to make it the most effective/most entertaining.

That's alright. Just an idea to put out there if anyone wants to. I was more interested in a picture like that. I don't draw that well so I was making a request, but I should at least try, right?
Also, awesome pic! Since my allergy meds are messing with my brain right now and making me all giddy and exhausted at the same time, I can't read right now, but I made it through the first part. It seems cool!

So I'm finally getting around to watching this(Mostly because I was helping one of my friends move into his dorm and the only other guy on his floor is a huge brony, on top of being a pretty cool dude), I've only seen the opening two-parter so far but I can see why this is popular. The voice cast is superb(Why is Tabitha St.Germain not in more things?), the writing is better than it would ever need to be(so far), and the cast manages to avoid the predictable archetypes despite a setup that insists upon them following them(although sadly they haven't broken away from them enough yet to really surprise me, I hope they don't become more stereotypical as the show continues either) so on the whole it's better than expected, and much better than almost anything else out on the big 3 right now. Honestly, based on the two-parter I look forwards to more. Hopefully this will join Mystery Incorporated as one of the few animated shows left to give me hope for the future. That said, the ending of the two-parter is WAAAAY too Care Bearsy. I can put my manliness aside for the most part, but I'm not going to lie, I seriously considered stopping right there.

Hate to say it, but all of the endings are kinda schmaltzy like that (usually ending with a lesson on friendship dictated by the lead character). But, the endings aren't exactly the most important thing about the show, Champ. It's the journey of each episode. (although, fair warning, there is a "sub-story" about a set of three younger characters where they go on "adventures" more pandered to the younger child audience. Alot of "Bronies" hate said episodes, so if you feel the same way, just remember you're not alone.

5 Episodes in, starting to see how this can be addictive, especially when it's contrasted with the other crap that passes for Cartoons today(See:Adventure Time), it's well written, solidly animated, and the cast continues to actually kind of grow. Color me surprised, I don't think I'm really a brony yet but I'm getting there. So far Rainbow Dash is far an away my favorite character...no surprises there really. I'm actually considering just starting a project where I record my thoughts as a cold-hearted critic watching this. Also, I have officially decided that Lauren Faust's goal in life is to make every man in the world have an existential crisis due to their love of a girly cartoon. So far she's doing a hell of a job.

Perhaps this will restore some manliness?
This is just awesome. I only saw it because I'm barely getting into Lord of the Rings, but it's still so epic!
I love every Harry Potter one!

^See these plus the parody of the Scott Pilgrim trailer that I saw earlier make it a lot easier to cope with the fact that this show is addictive to everyone, including men. Also, I'm fairly certain that I'm just going to end up becoming a full on brony anyway, since I'm now on my seventh episode and just subscribed to the guy that uploaded all of the episodes I've watched so far, so I guess I have to join the hordes of bronies that continue to run rampant through the nets.

As a female, am I a brony or what? Because brony sounds like a term for males.
