Oh, I wanted to show you guys this. I found this to be pretty cool.
Lately, I've been seeing a lot of Five Nights At Freddy's Fan-Games made lately. Fans are really helping continue the legacy.
Some are not really so good, but one that I found to be just awesome (despite still being in Beta stages) is
Five Nights At Treasure Island, which is by Matthew Phoenix Rodriguez, or AnArt1996 on DeviantArt.
Five Nights At Treasure Island is a FNAF Fan-Game based on this one great CreepyPasta called "Abandoned By Disney." You can read the CreepyPasta here. -->
creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Abandoned_by_DisneyIt also has some stuff that relates to another great Disney CreepyPasta, Suicide Mouse.
It's still a beta and is unfinished, but so far it's pretty darn unique compared to some other Fan-Games I've played. I can understand this though, since I myself am working on similar fan-related big projects, and they are hard work!
In Five Nights At Treasure Island, you play as an intern for a research team exploring the abandoned Disney location, Treasure Island. You have access to the Security Cameras and have to watch for various monsters, such as PN Mickey and more, to come and try to get them away if they appear.
Most of the monsters are from the CreepyPasta story itself, though some of them are completely new, and Matthew took a few creative liberties on them, which I like about the game. It makes Fandom-related things more awesome when they add their own unique characters to it that still mesh well with the source material.
However, here your means of defense is more unique. Instead of doors or a mask or anything like that, here the location is very dark, and most of the enemies can't see you very well. Here, you can deactivate one of the cameras to make a loud noise and distract them away, though making the camera unusable. The cameras come back online after a little while though, but you have to be careful. You can also hide under the desk too in the recent beta, though this only has a 50/50 chance of working. It also has phone calls by multiple characters, and other neat scenery.
The monsters in this one are possessed Disney Costumes and Animatronics, as well as a few that are totally new supernatural entities that are neither of those. Not all of them are hostile though, but can still be bad for you if they appear. Here's a list of the monsters that have been confirmed to appear in Five Nights At Treasure Island, and will most likely be in the full version when it is finally completed.
-
Negative Mickey: A.K.A. Photo-Negative Mickey or Inverted Mickey. The main monster from the original Creepypasta, he is an evil Mickey with his colors inverted, and he also bleeds thick yellow blood and has a removable head. He is the first one you encounter, though he has bad eyesight, especially in the dark, and relies mainly on hearing. You mostly get him away through the loud noises made from temporarily shutting off one of the cameras (like many of the others later encountered). Also, like in the original, he can actually talk, and most often he says "
Hey, you wanna see my head come off?"
-
Donald Duck's Head: Also from the CreepyPasta, though had a minor appearance there. He appears in the Character Prep Room, though sometimes he will quickly float over to the Office and then sit on your desk, making loud electronic buzzing noises for a while, before going back. This may be just for annoyance, or it might be to help the other enemies, who rely mostly on hearing, to find you easier. He doesn't actually attack you though. The CreepyPasta also mentions that he has a human skull inside of him.
-
Oswald: A totally new monster. Oswald in this one was mentioned to never have been finished, and due to that, is almost completely black, and is missing his arms. He can be difficult to see in certain places, due to his black color blends in with the darkness. Also for some reason, he can be heard saying at times things like "Bless Your Soul," and "Have mercy on me."
-
Headless Goofy: Another new monster. Headless Goofy's body wanders about aimlessly, obviously having worse senses than most of the others. His head can be seen in one of the cams, laying sideways on the ground, and sometimes it opens its eyes. It was mentioned by Matthew, that his head and body can sort of be considered separate monsters.
-
Suicide Mouse: From the other CreepyPasta this Fan-Game is based on, Suicide Mouse. He is a grayscale Mickey who walks to the rooms with his arms behind his back, looking lonely. Kinda like Mangle in FNAF, you can tell when he's coming more easily because when he appears on the cams, or when he is close-by, a noise plays, though Suicide Mouse's noise is a constantly playing version of the strange piano song from the SuicideMouse.AVI video.
-
The Face: Another new monster added in. He is a terrifying distorted Mickey Mouse with a zombie-like face with a wide-open gaping mouth, bulging bloodshot eyes, and bat-like wrinkled ears. He also has no legs, and crawls on his arms. He is less predictable than the others, though that may be changed in the full version.
-
Pluto: Another new monster. Pluto is much like he normally looks, except for now he has all-black eyes, drooped in a sad-looking expression. He also appears at times and makes a loud barking noise, perhaps for a similar purpose to Donald Duck's Head. Matthew has also mentioned that he is linked to a completely original monster in this, "The Undying."
-
Negative Minnie: A new monster, to compliment Negative Mickey. She is a Minnie Mouse with her colors inverted, and she has an open mouth with realistic-looking teeth. She may play a similar purpose to Golden Freddy in FNAF. Sometimes she appears on one of the cams, and when you look at her on it for too long, she shuts off the cam herself. Also, it was mentioned that for her attack, she instead crashes the game and makes it shut down.
-
The Undying: Perhaps the most unique monster. It is a strange humanoid figure that resembles a slick red person without features. It is mentioned to appear in the Pirate Caverns, though not much else has been said about what he will serve in the full version.
Anyone have anything else to say about this neat Fan-Game?
