A "Mary-Sue" is a character that is considered too perfect or too flawed, most often used to describe OCs. This test determines whether or not your OC is a Mary-Sue. Take the test and post your result. www.ponylandpress.com/ms-test.html

XJ-0 AKA Zero
Score: 35
21-35 points: Borderline-Sue. Your character is cutting it close, and you may want to work on the details a bit, but you're well on your way to having a lovely original character. Good work.

Gene Wright
Score: 15 (19 with superpowers)
11-20 points: The Non-Sue. Your character is a well-developed, balanced person, and is almost certainly not a Mary Sue. Congratulations!
I'm as shocked as anyone, really.

Name: Ultimate Man
Score: 133
71 points or more: Irredeemable-Sue. You're going to have to start over, my friend. I know you want to keep writing, but no. Just no.
This isn't going to stop me. This character is me, and I can't let him die because of a test.

Name: Jen
Score: 56
56-70 points: Über-Sue. You've got one hell of a Mary-Sue on your hands here, and it's not going to be easy to set things right. But do your best. There may be hope for you yet.

Not so easy to make a great character, is it? It's only a test. By the way, it did say that not all test results are correct, right?

It's only a test. By the way, it did say that not all test results are correct, right? Quick. Name a flaw in your character's personality.

Readers have to be able to connect to the character. Take Superman for example. Yeah, he's powerful, but it's his Clark Kent persona that allows readers to connect with him.
An omnipotent character is just boring, and kills the joy of excitement in a story, or kills the pleasure of an RP.
Humans are imperfect, and so should the characters.

Jessica (Jessie) Winkler: 86, 69, 32 Eh, could use some work. But she's getting better! Maybe I should make her less like Jenny/me? Jessie was my first OC, after all, so that was bound to happen.
...You guys didn't count the name question, did you? Otherwise we ALL would have failed!
