Metroid Hunters, a great game for the DS. Finally got Wi-fi set up and I've been playing my older bro. Beat him in 3 matches of Prime hunter.

Once upon a time, The Simpsons was also a great show. And heck, I'd rather watch a new Simpsons episode than a new Family Guy episode. I can still watch old Family Guy episodes though. Futurama is also great. Family Guy might be funnier than The Simpsons and Futurama (the old episodes, anyway), but I prefer The Simpsons and Futurama for their better writing. Family Guy's focus isn't on writing though--it's on jokes. As South Park put it, it's one interchangable joke after another. I'm not bothered by this the way South Park's creators are, but I do prefer South Park for its ability to integrate hilarity and story all into one nice little filthy package. Cartoons rock. (Oh, and also, as the picture suggests, I'm obsessed with Sideshow Bob, especially in the episode Cape Feare. Now that is classic Simpsons the way it should be!)

The thing about South Park is that it sometimes "gets too preachy and up its own @ss with messages." That's a true statement, I won't lie. Family Guy's plot, which isn't why we watch the show, usually provides hilarity in itself. Like for instance in the episode "To Live and Die in Dixie," Peter used a porta-potty, which, when hit by a bird, fell over and covered him in cr@p. There's a lot of other instances too, but I do admit that the non-topic related jokes are the main attraction. Still, I prefer it over the Simpsons and Futurama.

www.frederator.com/rez.php?i=big&id=535(Stupid thing won't post.) Ever seen the World Premiere Toon Larry and Steve? It's a short cartoon Seth MacFarlane did for Cartoon Network back in 1996. The characters of Larry and Steve are like prototypes of Peter and Brian. They even have pretty much the same voices and exactly the same personalities. Also, at one point in the short, they mention a department store called "Stewie's." It's got the classic Family Guy humor (only non-vulgar) that I love.
