It was late at the academy. All of the students were asleep, all of the teachers as well, save for two. In the security offices on the top floor, L and Dr.Wakeman sat, observing the cameras lazily. "L,"Wakeman said, "You are aware of the need to continue to test the students." "Yes,"L said unemotionally, "The first exam did not yield enough data on analytical skills or on personal character." "And do you know how to test these traits?" She asked. "Yes," L said, still without emotion. "How would you?" Wakeman asked. "It's quite simple," L said, "The way to get the most accurate results in this kind of test..." He turned. "Is to not tell the students they're being tested." *** The bright sun shone through the halls of the Wakeman Academy. Ayame smiled as she headed to her homeroom on the fourth floor, letting the sun warm her with every step. It was a great morning. She opened the door to the room, finding most of the students were already present. She set her school bag down at a desk, and turned to the familiar face of her neighbor. "Good morning, Izzac," She said cheerfully. *** Leone trudged to class irritably. He didn't feel very good today, the exams had taken a toll on him that he hadn't initially realized. He slid into Gene's room, sitting at a desk and putting his head on the table, praying for sleep. "I hate mornings," He growled to no one in particular.

*The rather human seeming boy looked at her with a groggy disposition*
Izzac: Oh... Good- *yawwwn* morning, Ayame...
*He said, almost passing out at his desk*

"Good morning, maggots," Gene says as he enters the room. "I'd like to congratulate you all on your performance yesterday."
"Especially you, Mr. Johnson," he grumbles.
"You have two other pretests planned, but I haven't heard anything specific about them. So today will be your first actual day of classes, God willing. I hope you're ready. I know I am."

Thomas just sat there, like everybody else, a slight smile on his face. It was entertaining to think he had evoked such frustration in one of the teachers, especially considering how much more skilled they were supposed to be in comparison.
Thomas conjured a frog on his desk, which he put into a jar with holes he had prepared beforehand, then dumped some dead flies in. Just to annoy Gene, he then caused the frog to sprout two extra legs and a second head, without saying a word, though the intention was clear, and he heard snickering throughout the room.
*******
"Will you guys just quiet down, please?" Alex yelled across the room, still in disguise (he had only been revealed to Thomas, Ayame, and Leone so far). "From what I heard, most of you didn't do so well yesterday....save for a select few. There's going to be more testing soon, but today, you'll learn the basics of programming a very simple robot."

"Come on, Thomas," Gene says as he notices the frog. "After everything I saw yesterday, I know you can do better than that. I mean, I can do extra limbs in my sleep; it's a surprisingly simple mutation. Just a couple tweaks in early development, and... never mind. But as long as that thing's here, it's a perfect introduction to our first topic, something you guys should already know a bit about: vertebrate anatomy."

Thomas was a bit frustrated that he had just been stopped before even saying anything in his defense....so, while Gene talked, he gave the frog fire-breathing, wings, and two extra limbs pointing forward...outfitted with claws.
"Sorry. I'll stop...." Thomas said with a grin when Gene looked at the monstrosity in the jar.

"Nah, it's cool. Just don't do it on class time." Gene checks his watch. "I don't even know if we're on class time yet. But I don't have anything else to do right now, so if you're done with your little... demonstration, maybe we can get started?"

Fie; you think we pass, or you think we lose points for going overboard? Azula; you have to be precise when you attack your enemies, but we may lose point for your hesitation of holding your attack to present you ship Fie; it suppose to intimidate, and it work he ran screaming (drinking cup of juice after she speak)

"Yeah, go ahead....." Thomas replied.
"Now I gotta figure out how to remove this stuff...." he muttered to himself.

*Izzac passed out, hitting his head on the desk exceedingly hard*
*There was a loud WHACK sound that errupted from the contact of wood and face*
*Izzac began to snore*

"Wake up Izzac," Ayame whispered, shaking him. Jenny entered the room then smiling despite several visible dents. "Good morning class," She said, "We have a new student today!"

Izzac: Uh, wha...
*He said, flinging his head back up, still groggy*
Izzac: What'd she say? 'Is the rodent ok?'

"New student," Edward said from behind him, grinning, "Although I like what you said better."

Izzac: Thanks...
*He turned back and almost nodded off once again*
Izzac: I'm awake, I'm awake...

Jakob patrolled the hallway, scanning the floors, walls, and ceiling for vandalism or things that were not meant to be there.
For the first day of school, it was not that surprising that the corridors of the school remained clean and still-waxed nicely.
All he'd have to worry about, so far, would be intruders and sudden outbreaks of unwanted violence.
