tl;dr in the case of the article but...WHAT THE EFF, CHARLIE BROWN!? WHY!? What part of "Fairly Oddparents" was screaming for live action? And why have Drake Bell in the lead? There are so many things wrong with this that I don't even know where to start...God, it's like Nick actually goes out of it's way to be stupid sometimes! ... ..... ......Oh well, can't be any worse than "The Sorcerer's Apprentice, I guess. Must all things animated be made live action these days? And if so, how long until we get a gritty live action remake of "Hey Arnold"?

It's just a TV movie.
I, for one, happen to like The Fairly OddParents....but not the pairing that is in thie move (Timmy x Tootie). I'd rather have it be my favorite FOP pairing (Timmy x Trixie), but them's the breaks I guess.

After the nightmare of CN bringing live action and reality shows any nightmare of horrendous idea could be possible. We all know this series is now dry as a salt mine in a blazing desert. Any thought of changing the show like Vicky being nice and Crocker getting over his obsession are done but they could keep the change for some stupid plot device make it feel like nothing but weak filler episode. They want to stay in the rut to play it safe. A little risk may be good for this series They made Drake playing Timmy feels miscast. It’ feels like another movie we best not name. I have feeling if they make it like Sabrina the Teenage Witch it might work in a cheesy way. That and if they further develop the other characters. Bring in the other kids that had fairies like Molly and Dwight I may give a too optimism view for this movie, it but this is nick not Cartoon Network or a former shell of it.

The Show was going for Timmie x Trixie, so to divert from that is just stupid.
I stopped watching when they brought in the baby, though. No specific reason, it's just I don't watch much TV now.
Anyway, when a cartoon goes live action, it almost ALWAYS becomes a disaster. Just sayin'.

Sounds similar to the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" live action movie I also heard is coming out.

The baby felt like jump the shark move. The season 6 and 7 were the worst episodes of the series. IT needed to something big that change the characters, so to make everyone interest to the series again Making characters older have not been successful they can be big flops like all the Rugrats, Superboy prime during countdown, but there are exceptions Sari Sumdac from Transformers, Amy from Acrhie’s Sonic The hedgehog

I saw this. I am not a fan. FOP's going down the SBSP route, and it's really sad.

I liked the movie but would have preferred Tootie keeping her old look like it's bad to wear glasses and braces or something that just bugs me.
Not enough Vicky either.
