I even looked it up on the MLP: FiM wikia, and it said it referred to male fans. Maybe we're bronettes It's official. It was a tough choice, but my favorite is Fluttershy. She's just so K-A! Like me in real life, she's shy and sweet but when she has her tough moments, you don't cross her.

Applejack is my favvie, lot of reasons for that, but again kind of like you, I love her sweet side and that she is caring for her friends ^.^

I'd also have to say that Fluttershy is one of my favorite characters. I may have shown hate for one of her stronger episodes, but I now realize it's to establish a stronger side of her that reappears in more episodes and establishes that she's more than just cuteness. (She's more like a reverse-tsundere.)
Fluttershy; she may be a cute moe character, but she's the goddamn queen of the monsters!

I do like Rarity, too, surprisingly. She's not snobby even though she's kind of high maintenance. And she's a very classy young lady (well, pony).

Most of us have heard about Rob Renzetti in MLP right? Well, after watching both MLaaTR and MLPFiM, I noticed three similarities.
1) Scarce Musicals. Thinly scattered in both shows are musical numbers, where all of our favorite characters (among many nameless ones) gather 'round for a fun song. (My personal favorite is "Winter Wrap-Up") These songs, however, aren't very common and come as quite a surprise to me with the soundtrack.
2)Stock Soundtrack. In both shows, a really stock-sounding xylophone soundtrack can be heard, and though it fits with both shows being intended for kids, I've seen other kid shows pull off better.
3) 1-D Bullies. We all know Brit Tiff and Don Prima. Snobby, annoying, 1-D, just-die-already bullies. In MLPFiM, there are not one, not two, not four, but FIVE of these characters. Renzetti, you're not the smartest.

Turns out, in addition to the AMV Hell pony edition, Bronies are really adding to the music of the fandom.

I really like that this series seems to have these characters have there "main personality", "That side of the character you hardly ever see but it IS there" and then there negative side, I think Rob did fairly well with this one... >.> This series is such a hit on the internet though I have NEVER heard of Hub, XD... just saying.

I have NEVER heard of Hub, XD... just saying. No surprise there. The Hub is less than a year old. It used to be Discovery Kids, then Hasbro threw boatloads of money at the Discovery Channel people. Friendship is Magic was actually part of the new channel's launch lineup.

Wow, well for a show line up I think they have a pretty good show on there hands, sadly every kid I end up asking if they've seen the show... they think of MLP but have never seen the new show on Hub. Is it a local or cable station?

Posting this first as my official announcement that after watching 21 of 26 episodes I'm fairly certain no one will dethrone Rainbow Dash as my favorite character. She is just 20% cooler than the rest of the cast, plain and simple.
As for the Hub, it's a cable channel, and a new one, but with that in mind I actually know plenty of normal kids that watch it(my cousins both watch the Hub for Transformers Prime, and apparently my sister first checked out MLP because it was such a hit with the girls in the daycare she works at, so she wanted to be able to connect with them by talking about it), so I wouldn't worry about it's popularity. I mean, it's honestly competing with the biggest shows from the Big 3 right now and holding it's own, and that's damn impressive. Hell, the fact that it's pretty much made the Hub a network I bother to watch should say something, given that the rest of that channel is really bad reruns and sub-par original programming. MLP's a good start, now if only they could make a decent GI Joe or Transformers cartoon(no, I didn't like Prime in case you were wondering.)

I liked new GiJoe but can they get the shows in order. It is a continuity mess. Transformers Prime feels like a step back compared to Transformers Animated. Starscream being leader is a good touch but human characters are worst than the Unicron trilogy.

I think we were kinda spoiled with Animated. Animated was trying to top Beast Wars, for crying out loud, and it almost succeeded if it wasn't cut off by ROTF and DoTM. To me, Prime is a "what if" series, if the movie-verse had absolutely nothing to to with Micheal Bay. Sure, there are tons of fillers and I'm sure there are as many Miko haters as there are Unicron Trilogy haters, but at episode 23 the sh!t REALLY hits the fan hard, and we see that the "age old" kind of Optimus can still get character developement.
Let's remember that G1 isn't perfect either, with Optimus going out of character almost each episode (He was playing BASKETBALL!!), and even the most random things can happen, like that crossover with Dungeons & Dragons.
