Full Character History:
Aven Nero, derived from "Avner".
Avner- name, define: Father of Light
Dr. Aven Nero grew to maturity as an outcast. No one should suffer what he had endured. Instead of allowing the world to fall further into a system where only the strong survive, or seeking vengeance, he chose to give it hope. He would give it a beacon of
light.
Near the end of his days, Nero worked with a young woman named Nora Wakeman. Following the Armageddroid Crisis, they worked together to develope an operating system
for a new class of sentient machines. The XJOS was developed, which would soon lead to the creation of the XJ-Series.
However, before the work could be completed, Nero disappeared with his portion of the programming. Nora would go on to complete the system on her own.
Nero spent the last days of his life finishing a seperate branch of the XJOS.
Knowing he would not see the completion of his dream, he created a digital copy of his conciousness to watch over and guide his greatest creation.
He died alone, still with a single gleaming light of hope.
This is the history of the Son of Nero. A Beacon of Infinite Light.
Profile: XJ-Series Model No. 0 Serial- XJ-0 Name- Zero
1- Beginnings
"Keep them close and teach them, as they themselves will teach you. You will be more than what you are. You will be a light." - Dr. Nero
In the year 2070 AD, Zero was activated, during a rennasuance of artificail intelligence, that began in 2064 AD with the creation of XJ-9 AKA Jenny Wakeman.
Zero quickly made friends, meeting fellow teenage robots Kerry J and Punkrobot, Isabella Thorn the witch, and Hedgehog, an anthro. Zero's kind nature was met with like
manner. Even more so as his powers manifested.
Zero was gifted with the core powers of the archtype superhero: Flight, super strength, super speed, and optic beams. His greatest qualities however, were yet to be
realized.
His gifts also made him threat to those who would do wrong. A young villian named Hax had chosen Tremorton to be his base of operations. To do so, he would turn the
city into an engine fortess. Hax was soundly defeated by Zero and his allies. Here Zero learned that despite the evils present in the world, he must believe in those
few who can change the world. He gained integrity and conviction. The computer conciuosness of Dr. Nero would guide Zero throughout his many adventures and trials.
2- Rise
"Evil... goes from bad to worse. What kind of light am I to be? What purpose do I serve?" - Zero
Over the next year, Zero firmly established himself in the city. Always honest in his ways, he had won the admiration of many. Stable and cohesive in his state of
mind, Zero truly stood out as a beacon of light among his peers. For one though, this was not so easy a state to maintain.
Candyrobot AKA Mimi, had grown weary of the troubles that seemed to never end in Tremorton. Despite Zero's effort to get her to hold on, she chose to leave the city to
find peace of mind. Zero didn't blame her. Everyone has thier breaking point. With her loss though, the community in Tremorton had lost it heart. She embodied love. An
anthro named Al Van Mobius would keep the community together. Crime remained moderately low as the meta population boomed in Tremorton. One would drive a wedge deep between them all. A robot named Hayt developed a reputation for dealing brutally with criminals. This would bring him into direct conflict with Zero. In the feud between them, Zero met
Kayla Austin and a mysterious bounty hunter named Champ Mars. Zero's rage flared when Hayt shot and wounded Al Mobious for defending a petty thief. Al died from his wound, but not before telling Zero to take lead. Zero began by
uplifting a distraught Champ, and thier friendship was forged in the heat of battle against Hayt. The fight was witnessed by a young girl named Jessie Winkler, who
came to admire Zero's strength and beliefs. Hayt was defeated, and Zero rose to leadership. Zero proved to be compassionate and impartial. Hayt swore he would make Zero pay for disgracing him.
3- Fall
"We can't have a war without people dieing."
Despite Zero's best efforts, anti-heroes become more and more popular and is eventually forced to leave after one called Cain gets away with murder. Cain's tactics
escalate in cruelty until hundreds of civilians are killed during an attack that went awry. Blaming himself for not stepping in sooner, Zero gathers his friends to lead an army of those willing to join to reign in the new generation of metas, now called
Newgens. Zero's forces were effective at first, but the renegade newgens outnumbered the righteous. Cuaght in the middle of the conflict was humanity, now fearing the power the
metas held. Tremorton was abandoned. Tensions resulted in an armageddon in the heart of Tremorton that Zero desperately tried to prevent, but failed. Humanity decided to end it all with a single bomb. A
robot named Chevelle stopped the bomb at the cost of his own life. 3/4 of the world's metas were wiped out and tremorton was destroyed. Zero sought vengeance on mankind, but was talked down by Kayla. From her on out, he would seek to become closer to humanity, and ackowledge his mistakes. Even though this tragic event, now called the Newgen War was over, it set in motion events that would soon change the world.
4- Healing
"You're not the only superhero in the world, Zero. Don't you trust us?" - Champ Mars
Tremorton was rebuilt and slowly began to be repopulated by it's former residents.
Zero light has begun to dim. The terrible consequences of the Newgen War left him obsessed with protecting all life. He would constantly watch over the world, quick to
leap into action. Over time his friends saw him becoming more and more withdrawn from them. He would not rest and it was wearing him down. Zero was losing sight of
what he was meant to be. Champ Mars and White Lightning worked together to restrain Zero and make him listen. Champ reminded him that he inspired many to be active in making the world a better
place, and he needed to trust them to do it. Zero was humbled, regained balance in his life, and over time developed many friendships, strengthened others, and shined ever brighter as a beacon of light, becoming
a true superhero.
In the meantime, Star Force was formed by the government to keep special watch over the metas, lead by General Balaam, who would lie in wait for the perfect time to to
enact his own vendetta against all metas, most of all Zero.
5- Crisis
"We are part of Hypertime, branching timelines of the same universe each with thier own history and various versions of yourselves. Who you are, what you could have
been, or what you should never be." - Unknown
Thousands of timelines came to an end as a powerful time entity called Narok devoured time to empower himself. Zero and the Tremorton Heroes joined other versions of
themselves to defeat Narok. Zero met new allies, Jakob, Gene Wright, and became better aquanted with the Winkler sisters. As a result, many became a part of thier reality, but a few did not and became refugees of lost time. Two of Zero's counterparts, XJ-Zero and ZeroA were such refugees. ZeroA became obsessed with his lost place as a hero and covinced XJ-Zero to help him restore the lost timelines. However, this would lead to the destruction of the
current history. The Tremorton Heroes once again fought for thier reality. Zero and XJ-Zero worked together to defeat ZeroA. XJ-Zero died in battle, and ZeroA was
imprisoned on Cluster Prime, guarded by Vega's army. He swears revenge on Zero, declaring his name now to be Omega.
6- Love
"You are my light. I love you, Jessie Winkler." - Zero
Tremorton had become the meta capital of the world. Hundreds of new metas came to the city to make names for themselves in much the same way Zero had in the past. Many
humans also arrived to be part of the new capital. Among them was the Colonel of Star force, and his sister Iris. Iris kissed Zero after he rescued her, thus he became infatuated with her, not fully understanding his new feeling. Unknown to Zero, Jessie Winkler was falling in love
with him. Colonel was not pleased with Zero's interest in his sister, as thier parents were killed in the Newgen War, which Colonel blames Zero for. Zero was counseled by his father's computer conciousness to be wary of infatuation, as it is not the same as true love. Zero would not listen, after all he done for
the world, love was the one thing he really wanted for himself. Iris's loyalty was tested when Colonel lead his division of Star Force against Tremorton. She sided with her brother and fought Zero in special armor on a Star Force
satalite. Depsite Zero's best efforts, Iris did not survive the battle, leaving him distruaght and betrayed. He was rescued by Jessie Winkler as the satalite crashed.
She brought him back to his base to recover. During this his recovery, Jessie came into contact with his father, who confirmed that she had the strength of character
to give Zero the love he needs and deserves. Jessie is the only person to converse with Nero other than Zero himself. Star Force continued it's attack and destroyed
Zero's base. Zero awakened and save Jessie, who kept watch over him during his recovery. It was then that he knew what love really is. Star Force was defeated by the
Tremorton Heroes, and Zero and Jessie began thier relationship as a couple.
General Balaam covered up the incident, declaring Colonel and Iris traitors who went renegade.
7- True Hero
"The power is yours to judge evil and destroy it. I leave it in your hands to do what must be done." - Wrath, of the 7 syns.
Bearing witness to Zero's life, supernatural entities called the 7 Syns sought to tempt him with power and drive him to break his deepest values. One by one Syns were
defeated, each one pushing Zero to nearly breaking his moral code. When confronted by wrath, he is forcefully empowered to near godhood, and is given the choice to
destroy all evil. In an incredible act of integrity, Zero states that while he has the power, he does not need to use it. All things are possible, and even the worst of the world has
the capacity for great good. What they really need is forgiveness. Zero then uses the power to forgive Wrath for his actions against him, thus breaking the Syns free
from thier curse. Wrath comes to respect Zero and leaves him in peace.
Zero at this point had experienced all that life could throw at him, good or bad. His greatest test was yet to come.
8- Journey's End
"All things are possible." - Zero
Deep in Cluster Prime, Omega has gathered enough power to escape. Omega crushes the Cluster forces and leaves the planet heading back to earth with one goal: Destroy
Zero and take his place. Zero learns of Omega's escape and upcoming arrival. Seeing Omega as what he could have become, Zero has doubts about if he could really win. He also worries about what
he could become in the future. In a sparring match with Jenny Wakeman, Zero is beaten and realizes just how weakening self doubt can be. With Jessie Winkler at his
side, he seeks out all the closest friends he's made, who each remind of his past deeds and how he inspired and strengthened them all. Zero has one last conversation with his father, who states that he no longer needs him. Nero leaves Zero stating how proud he is of him. Omega hitches a ride on a massive asteroid and guides it to earth. With the support of all his friends, Zero prepared for his inevitable battle. Zero reaffirms his love for Jessie Winkler, and leaves for earth orbit to confront Omega
on the asteroid. Omega judges Zero as weak for his ideals. Omega sees himself as the messiah the world needs. He will begin his reign by crashing the asteroid into Tremorton. Zero and Omega fight as equals, both driven by thier conviction. Tossing Omega into space, Zero manages to push the asteroid far enough not to crash into the city.
Omega uses this opprotunity to get the upper hand on Zero and severely damages him. Zero refuses to give up, leading Omega to conclude that their battle will only
escalate to the point of destryong the universe, since Omega believed himself to be the center of the universe. Zero proved him wrong by making the decision no one else could. He allowed Omega to pierce his solar fusion battery, cuasing an explosion so massive, it cracked the asteroid into pieces that would burn in the atmosphere. Shocked, Omega disintegrated stating the impossiblity of that outcome. Omega then perished from existence. Zero collapsed and uttered his last words.
All things are possible.
On earth, everyone witnessed the meteor shower that resulted in the battle. Zero could not be detected, and all faced the possibilty that he would never come back. In privacy, under the stars, Jessie Winkler wept. Despite her loss and sorrow, Jessie declares that she and all of Zero's friends will make the world a better place, where thier light will shine brightest in even the
darkest of days. He will always be her light.
In 2076 AD, six years after his awakening, Zero was declared dead.
9- Rebirth
In 2077 AD, Zero's body was recovered by Star Force and used in conjunction with Jessie Winkler's robonizer to create nearly indestructible armor of their soldiers. Zero's body was later retrieved by Champ Mars, Jessie Winkler, Alex 13, Jenny, and Jakob. They took Zero to Dr. Wakeman at his old base, where they were hiding during the events of the Star Force War. Upon discovering the last messages of Dr. Nero, Nora was able to rebuild Zero with a new body, specially made using a combination of Nora's and Aven's technology. Upon awakening, Zero joined the others in battle, help them defeat General Balaam, and destroying Apocolyptron, thus ushering in the new world.
10- The New World
Zero's purpose is fulfilled, and as a last gift from his father, Zero can now begin to live his life on his terms. What new challenges the new world will bring are left to be seen.
Long ago, an old man named Dr. Aven Nero gave the world his son, a new type of robot, to shine as a beacon of light in a dark and uncertain world. Imbued with a strong sense of justice and great power, the Son of Nero fights for those who cannot fight for themselves, endeavoring to move others to action, ever proving that all things are possible. I just got thrown into a spin today.
I was doing some show research today, and in a couple of wiki's I learned that some fans have been referring to Armageddroid as XJ-0.
That... kinda sucks for me.

Hm. I'd never heard of that. But it doesn't make sense. The XJ series was created as an explicit refutation of Armagedroid's design principles, not as a continuation of the project. I recommend you ignore that noise.

You are not first to make that mistake name being taken already. The name Flare has been taken four times and that is the name one my popular fan characters. You should change you name still since your character is more of an updated model. XJ-1 was a baby, remember. As for XJ-0 being Armagedroid called XJ-0., I am working on fanfic in response to that.

(Still working on Phenomenal Zero, but how am I doing so far)
Name Zero Powers: super strength, super speed, flight, able to create solid solar energy base constructs (which he usually uses for manual labor) Abilities: studying satellite engineering, program for many situations for combat and rescue to being a world response unit, Heal others by sunlight Bio: created for operation Earth’s Second Wind he was constructed to absorb solar energy from the sun or other stars and return to earth, so he can use that energy to be alternate fuel source or to postponed or stop the earth from being frozen. After Armagetdroid the need for earth defenses were highly needed so he became world responses unit of the XJ line. He is often mistaken as XJ-Zero. Regretfully, it was short live as he was hit by an unknown explosion (further details will be told later) He was rescued by the Cluster where he lives in planet Ajolote due to it being better place to get sunlight and he finds the setting very soothing. Each 30 days he uses the solar energy he absorbs to give to the Cluster. One fourth of solar energy supply comes from his donation. He constantly performs rescues across the planet Ajolote. He is currently working as a solar farming construction and repairs. He is studying to create solar satellites to absorb as much as he can do to further help out everyone.
(I got an idea he be part binary duo you know 0s and 1s. the other one will be powered by moons which make that robot have mystical abilities but think I should postponed since did not got all my idea in order)

That's a massive departure from the original reason for his creation, but interesting nonetheless.
So this Zero Solare is a worker eh? Making energy constructs is reminiscent of the Green Lantern.

I was planning to use it to make sense of some of the ridiculous pre-crisis Superman powers but it seems would be more practical with the lantern way. The energy supply can be use to solve robot need for energy, so it like curing hunger for robots. This means he not so over powering since he never test the limits of his powers absorption. He would rather use it to help people then see how strong he can be. For his creator a fate worst then death he was collected by the bulb-bots.

I like the color scheme on version 2. It looks like you had a hard time drawing the hair. The bolt symbol is facing the wrong way on both. I prefer version two, but you can add the Cluster cape from version 1 to it. Why is his skin grey rather than white?
Looking at the story again I can imagine this take place in a alternate time where mankind ignored global warming until it was too late, thus making Zero Solare necessary to hold of an ice age.
This is a very interesting story you're developing.

The gray skin tone is to make him look like a older model just like the blue tinted eyes in the second one. When you mean bolt do you mean the center symbol?

Yes, the center symbol. As well as looking like a bolt, it's also a stylized number "0". If you've noticed in some of my pictures, it can also be fashioned into a "Z" icon.

My mistake I thought it was shiny reflection for his chest cannon. I will fix that on the new versions. As for the sun symbol does that ha Yeah I had struggled with the hair. I made so many drastic changes that he needs familiarity. Sadly as you see I am not in my comfort zone for very stylize hair. By the way do want big forehead or should I that take that out? Nearly done on two more versions show it to you on Sunday.
