"KPG?" Jakob had his cellphone out again. He was attempting to give robotic first-aid to Zero and 13 outside of the house.
"Talk to me. Good thing this project has a pause button."
"Zero and 13 are down. Jessie probably suffered damage, but I can't really tell. That crazy abnormality is tougher than she looks."
"Right, and I told you get some stuff for upgrades,"
"Such as..."
"I'll just need you to temporarily shut down once you're inside. Also be sure to set aside your coat, hat and weapons."
"Ah, a full update?"
"If I get a good look at your friends, I can figure out how to repair them fully. I'll get suited up to help."
"Let me know when you are." Jakob knew what KPG was going to allow him to do. It's been two years, and no signs of the Corrupt Canadian Government. It made sense.
Also, KPG would be fully suited up, so he'd become unidentifiable. There's no danger whatsoever.
"I'm ready," KPG said. His voice more muffled and deep.
Jakob hanged up and carried the others inside.
There was a wide-screen television with a game console hooked up right beside the door to the basement. Across the television was a coffee table, followed by the duct-tape sofa and a lounge chair. Everything else was downstairs.
Jakob set down the three of them in the chairs before going downstairs.

OOC: Heh... ironic. I'm a Canadian and I love this country.

Jakob awoke again. He shut himself down upon entering the basement and removing all of his gear and uniform. When he awoke, he was standing, leaning against a wall. His pants, coat, and hat were back on. KPG was upstairs, performing repairs on the other three.
The AI in Jakob's head announced the update completion. Jakob acknowledged and walked upstairs. He didn't really feel any difference, just like every other update.
KPG was sitting in the chair beside the sofa, replacing a damaged screw in 13's arm. He looked up to see Jakob.
"Ah, Jakob. Almost done with these three." he said in his forcefully-changed voice.
Jakob nodded. He looked to Zero and Jessie. Both were temporarily offline.
The only information they could get off of KPG was that he had brown hair and was a tanned Caucasian. His mask didn't cover his hair or ears.
It was actually quite odd, however. KPG was tanned, yet he apparently never left the house. Jakob knew why, but he didn't really care. Again, the Corrupt Government has yet to find them after over two years.

Alex woke up, his eyes popping open.
"Oh, hey KPG. How bad was it?" he asked, laughing slightly.

"Not that bad. The landing damaged most of your hydraulics systems." KPG replied as he refitted the newly-fixed arm into 13's empty joint.
"Jakob, activate the other two. I left everyone with a little surprise."

After Jessie is re-activated, she realizes that she is still in robot form, with many scorch marks, and therefore de-robonizes.
"Whoa, what the heck happened?!?"

"What exactly did you give them?" Jakob asked.
"Each of them has been given a weapon custom-built by myself. They're powerful, plasma-based weapons. For Zero, I replaced his optic laser system with a more powerful system. Jessie, I gave a plasma mortar. 13, I juiced up his swords to be longer, more powerful, and more efficient, with turning capability to add flexibility."
"And what about my upgrades?"
"Take out your Sniper Rifle."
Jakob reached into his coat. His hand met nothing except his coat and torso armor plating. He turned to go downstairs.
"They're not in the lab," KPG said. Jakob knew he was grinning.
"Where are they?"
"I modified your internal systems to be able to store all of your weapons, much like your ammunition storage. I couldn't fit them as wholes, so I modded every one of them. When you get a weapon out, an automated system run by the AI reconstructs the weapon in a shorter time than it takes for you to reach into your coat to manually take it out."
"Hm... heightened combat efficiency. I like it," Jakob said.
"Just be sure to pull up your sleeves when you do it," KPG said.
Jessie woke up, and asked what happened.
"You guys got wasted by some strange feminine humanoid monster. I had to carry you guys out of there," Jakob replied.

The memories flooded into her head. The strange woman, her crazy powers, the casualties...
"ZERO! Is he alright?!?" she screamed, not even noticing he was right beside her.

"Yes, he is fine," Jakob said, "Repairs have been made."
"Also, another thing," KPG said. "I added a bit of an upgrade to all of your exoskeletons. I added the same kind of alloy present in Jakob's exoskeleton and my own suit. It's capable of blocking bullets without so much as a dent. However, you'll have to stay clear of heat. I'm sure you all can manage that, right?"

"Uh, I guess..." Jessie was a bit uncomfortable with others tinkering with her metallic form. "Why would we need this?"

"You just never know," KPG said. Despite his intent on privacy and self-consciousness, he was actually quite homely.

"Alright, cool. Thanks for the upgrades and all...." Alex said springing up onto his feet, "....but we have to find out where she is now. Any sign of her in town that you guys can tell? More news?"

Why did the dirt-pigs had to have over power over the time of winter just by seeing their shadow?"
