Jenny was impatient. She wanted to be there NOW. She was going as fast as she could, and she couldn't help but race Alex. She wasn't exactly sure how she felt about him at the moment, anyway(OOC:sorry if I'm stepping on any toes, can edit out if necessary). Champ was barely able to keep the two in sight range as he ran from rooftop to rooftop. In retrospect, he should have picked up a hoverboard while he was in the Wakeman house.

He smiled. This was almost as good as hunting.....no. He couldn't think like that now.
As he pulled ahead again, he could be heard saying "sorry", before flipping up his cloak, pointing his back-mounted jets directly behind him, angling further to the ground, and nearly doubling his speed.
They were almost there, so there was almost no reason for this.

((OOC:That it is)) The Tilt arcade was something of a shabby arcade. The lighting wasn't good, and the wood walls were cracked, the paint faded. But the games were all up to date, and well maintained, and the patrons, mostly people of questionable character, didn't seem to mind. It was in this faded environment, that two faded heroes sat, directly across from two newcomers, a boy with spiky red hair, and another, solemn looking one. The second boy was in frighteningly good shape. Bodybuilders would envy this kid's physique. Orion sat next to Squish, each surveying their potential recruits. Then a familiar sound reached Orion's ears. The sound of rockets. He gave a grim smile. "Looks like we've got more company," He quipped.

Recently, KPG had developed a faster mode of transportation for Jakob. A motorcycle.
The speed forced him to scrap his hat. He also had the ear-like appendages removed to reduce drag. He left both at home.
On the plus side, he could manage to get to the point faster. He saw where the others were moving. He merely followed.
An arcade. An old arcade. Tilt, it was called. Jakob slowed to a stop and set the motorbike to lock-down. It was an interesting security system KPG made. There were two ways in. Either by brute force- which could damage the bike beyond usage, or by a 32-digit code that Jakob knew and committed to memory and could enter at blinding speeds.
Last thing he wanted was to have someone else take away his latest "upgrade for movement."
His submachine gun was out. He silently moved to one of the back entrances. If there was any escape route that non-flying beings would have, the back entrance would be it.
He creaked the door open, scanning the room. It was a back room for storage. No one was in there.
Jakob entered and got to the next door. He waited for the others to move into position.

Before reaching the arcade, Alex pulled into an alley, disengaging his thrusters, putting away his cloak, and going around the other side of the arcade. He sent a message to Jenny at this point.
Don't just barge in. I'm going to scope it out. If you must, at least know where to strike first before doing anything rash.
He emerged from the alley looking like your average shady (possibly drug dealing) teenager, with a pocket full of quarters (he always had various types of cash on him in a compartment in his wrist).
He suspected that if any of the Teen Team were in there, they already had heard rockets, and would be expecting Jenny or others, so he was confident his disguise would work.
He had some grenades at the ready of various types, too, in case it didn't work as planned.
He stepped into the arcade and saw them. He immediately went for the arcade shooter right next to them, inserted a quarter, and listened as he began racking up a near perfect score.

Jakob looked through the keyhole of the door he hid behind. He spotted what was left of the Teen Team. Opening a secure channel and closing the vents, he became silent to all but those whom he has contact with.
Alex, Jakob here. I'm in Storage at the target building. Teen Team currently has Squish and Orion. Two others with them. Possibly potential recruits. Four targets in all.
After a slight pause, Anyone expendable?

I'm the guy on the machine closest to their meeting spot, in the hoody with earrings. Wanted to blend in. Anyway, there are plenty of innocents here. I wouldn't consider them expendable....but hey, that could change if the situation warrants. Let them keep talking. Trying to gather intel for the time being, but be prepared for violence. Jenny could burst in any moment the way she's going., Alex responded.
He turned his attention back to their conversation.

Of course, it was at that moment that Jenny did decide to burst through the front door. "Orion!" Jenny called, "I have business with you." The former hero smiled as he flew to where she was standing. "And what would that be?" He asked. "I need to know where your buddy Misty is," Jenny said. Orion smiled. "Don't know where she is," He said, "Even if I did, why would I tell you?"

I told you to wait if you could. It's okay though. Do what you have to. If it comes to fighting, Jakob and I are here to back you up.he signaled her.
He looked up from his game, appearing ignorant of what was really going on (as most of the other patrons were doing at the time).
"What's the problem here?" Alex asked toward the conflict in general.

Alex just smiled.
"You of all people should know that not everything is as it seems. If you want trouble, I'd be happy to oblige." he said calmly, stepping forward.

Orion turned to Alex. "Look, back up kid or I'm going to mess you up," He said. Champ walked in, staring at the escalating conflict. "So, did I miss much?" He said sarcastically.

"Jerk called me a normal." Alex replied. Then her turned back to Orion. "So, go ahead. I'd like to see you try and 'mess me up.' I doubt you'll do as well as you'd like to think."
Alex started to laugh in a very disturbing manner, and gave a grin that told all who saw it to back off.....and then run.

In a moment the boy with spiky orange hair was next to Alex. "I think it's about time you left," He said, placing a hand on Alex's shoulder and nodding towards the door. Orion turned his attention to Champ and Jenny. "That applies to all of you," He said. Jenny grabbed him by the collar, lifting him into the air. "I'm not leaving until you tell me where Misty is," She growled. "Not a chance," Orion hissed.

".....get your hand off of me!" Alex practically snarled, and pushed the orange-haired kid.....across the room, crashing into a pinball machine.
