"Roger that. On my way."
With that, he put the surveillance system into auto-control, and jumped out the window, flying toward the junkyard.

((Y'know, I had plans for Kenny, but I suppose I'll have to tweak them a bit)) Champ heard the conversation, taking off for the junkyard himself. He felt uneasy about this. After the fight that Misty had put up, he couldn't easily believe that Kenny would go down this easily. And even if he had, how angry would Jenny be to learn that someone else had defeated him? *** Inside Mezmers Brad sighed. "Melody has been trying to start over," He said, "She's really not that bad, Jenny." Jenny narrowed her eyes. "She tried to kill me," She said. Brad stared in shock. "She did what?" He asked, amazed.

Alex had paused by Mezmer's.....he didn't know why. He just wanted to look in for a moment, like an impulse.
Jenny hated him.....and with good reason. Even without any sort of intrusion or disruption of his systems, he still made hefty mistakes. He could be foolish, rash, and selfish. Even he knew that.
But he'd screwed up big time now. First, he'd underestimated her abilities, and dumped her for 'her own safety.' He himself would have taken that as a huge insult.
And then he'd interupted her attempt at revenge (which she was completely entitled to).
He just wanted there to be hope for some type of connection.....if nothing else, at least allies, if not friends.
He'd had enough. He continued on his way, and was nearly there (he could see Champ up ahead).

Through the whir of lights and sounds Champ saw his destination up ahead, turning quickly off of the road to enter the junkyard. All around he could hear sirens, there wasn't much time, Skyway would be here in a moment. *** Back at Mezmers Jenny had finished telling Brad what had happened. "Jenny," Brad said, slowly, "I'm so sorry..." "I don't want you to be sorry," Jenny said, "I want to know where Melody is."

A patrol cruiser got between Alex and Champ....and was sent promptly into the air, landing in the junkyard that was their destination.
"Champ!" Alex called out. "Just get Kenny from Jakob! I'll hold them off until you can get out!"
He then sent a rocket at another approaching speeder.

Soon Champ was in the center of the junkyard. He stood on the hoverboard, searching for any sign of Jakob.

Alex got on the communication channel.
"Jakob, how close are you to redezvous point?" He asked, while taking out the cars with his rifle (rather than the drivers, since he didn't want unnecessary deaths....they'd probably get hurt enough, anyway).

Jakob blew through a rotting pallet. Bits of wood bounced over and around the motorbike as it screeched to a halt at the rendezvous point. He passed the beaten robot to Alex before whipping out his Submachine gun. It was powerful enough to take on Skyway Patrol gunships, and had a large magazine.
The motorbike roared at its loudest (which isn't exactly that loud) through the slightly bumpy ground. The motorbike was capable of severe off-road travel, and was doing nicely at that. Jakob hefted his SMG and took a few shots at lowering VTOL gunships.
A full burst tore through plating and wind shield alike. One shot nailed the rotor for the rotating blades, causing an explosion on its left wing.
It crashed, but Jakob plowed right under before the crash became final and blocked his path.
He drove out of the junk yard, still being chased by Skyway Patrol gunships. Jakob's allies now had no one on their backs.
Jakob navigated through assorted alleys and residential roads before finally coming across a tunnel. He drove in and tried to find a second way out.
Eventually, he did, and he gained access to the subway. After a few minutes of driving and train-dodging, he ended up on the other side of the city.
It was a small drive home, and he'd throw off Skyway Patrol entirely.
Simplicity is good, especially when done right.

"Alright! Champ, take Kenny!" Alex shouted, tossing the dead-weight hunk of steel toward him. "Get him out of here! I'll cover you!"

Champ took Kenny, frowning as he did. He sort of felt like everyone was shirking the dog onto him. But he wouldn't let it bother him. The only question now, was where would he take the big idiot?

Alex saw Champ's confusion as he threw another car to the side.
"Just get him out of here! Wakeman's place, Mezmer's, wherever! Just someplace where Jenny can question him!"

Champ took off, still not sure where he would hide Kenny. He also wondered how he would explain what happened to Jenny. Somehow he doubted she would be happy with the group's actions.

Alex hesitated.
"Just tell her I did it! We don't need her to have anything against Jakob, too.....just GO! I'll lure them away!"
At that point Alex flew South into some suburbs, leading the cars away.

Champ drove off the road, weaving in and out of the houses. Mezmers wasn't far, he just had to avoid being spotted.

Jakob couldn't care less about what the XJ-9 thought in regards to the group actions. He figured that he could get information from her friend and go after Melody while the rest bring in the Y-K9.
He sat down on the duct-tape sofa and waited for any updates. He decided to phone the XJ-9 to inform her of this new acquisition.
"XJ-9. We have acquired the Y-K9. Would allow revenge to be obtained faster."
He left the message, seeing as the XJ-9 didn't seem to answer. She was probably too busy talking with her friend.
