((OOC:Title is different to clear up that this is not XJ-0's Tremorton High. Basically this RP will run parallel to all of the big action storylines to get a glimpse of our characters when they're not being heroes)) Sunlight streams through Azure's curtains, calling her to wake. At first she resists, trying desperately to return to the peace of her dreams. It's no use, however, and frustrated she pulls herself out of bed. The first day of school is always the worst for her. She checks the clock. 7:31. She has to be to school in fourteen minutes for orientation. In a panicked frenzy she dresses. She rushes down the stairs, grabbing her bag and a poptart and heading out the door. She checks her watch again. 7:37. The first day at a new school and she's already running late. She's so focused on getting to school that she hasn't noticed that someone has fallen into step behind her. "Good morning, sleepyhead," Champ Mars says, grinning. Azure glares. "Morning," She says, annoyed.

((Then Journey's End occurred earlier in August, we'll say 2 weeks, so Zero is still dead at this point.))

The original Alex had not gone out of the house since before the 'Omega Incident.' Of course that left the newer Alex to go in his stead.
Knowing what had happened before (due to shared memories up until the point of separation), he knew what to expect....and thus was one of the first there to avoid attention.
Unfortunately, since the school knew he was a robot at this point, he couldn't disguise.....so he'd stand out no matter what.
So there he stood, outside his homeroom class, waiting.
*************
The 'real' Alex spent most of his time online at this point. Not that he used a computer....he could move through the internet at the speed of thought being jacked in himself.
He didn't want to be out there with people. He'd figured out what happened.....the virus, though it had affected him, hadn't done as much as he thought. His own mental state had degraded due to his wanting to rid himself of the last of his humanity, confusing him in indescribable ways. In his wanting to be fully robot, what was left wasn't fully one or the other, and was basically the drawbacks of both.
He was the violent one....his double was more like what he had intended himself to be in the first place.
So he stayed in seclusion, for the safety of himself and the others...and to preserve what was left of their respect for him.

Azure walked through the front doors, frowning. She'd already missed orientation, and was almost late for homeroom. She rushed to the classroom, Champ following casually. Alex stood in front of the door, waiting. "Oh,hi," Azure said, surprised, by the robot, "Your Alex, right?" Champ raised an eyebrow. "The better question," He said, "Is which Alex are you?"

"KPG?"
The lab was empty. Upstairs was empty. The broom closet was empty. Just where the heck was the Creator?
"Oi! HJ! Where the hell are you?"
No answer. Jakob turned on the television and pulled out his cellphone. He planned to call KPG.
He heard ringing within the house. Jakob searched until he found it underneath the cushion of KPG's chair.
KPG's AWOL, and left his phone back at home. Jakob pondered if it would've been Canada, but he knew KPG wouldn't have let them take him without a fight... Not to mention the fact that KPG was there last night, pulling off yet another all-nighter.
Just brilliant, Jakob thought as he placed the phone downstairs on KPG's desk, and returning upstairs to watch TV.

"I'm the 'clone.' The real one's still sulking back at home, jacked into the internet as a distraction. It really sucks to have him like that, but at least it's less confusing. So, yeah, for all intents and purposes, I'm Alex. It's nice to meet you!" He said, holding out his hand.

"Azure Skye," Azure said, taking his hand, "Nice to meet you." She wanted to ask what Alex and Champ were talking about, but she decided not to, seeing the teacher running down the hallway. "Late, late, late!" He shouted, not noticing the attention he was drawing or the papers flying out of his bag. In moments he was at the door, fidgeting with the key. "Stupid thing, why don't you ever work right..." He mumbled to himself.

Alex walked up, extending an attachment from his finger....and unlocked the door. Then he held out the stack of papers that had fallen.
"Are these yours?" He asked, smiling.

"Oh, uh, yes," The teacher said, taking the papers from Alex, "Thank you." He stepped inside, placing the papers on his desk, and immediately opened a computer, beginning to mess with his lesson plans. Slowly the class began to fill with students. Azure turned to Alex, an eyebrow raised. "So, what did you mean earlier," She said, "About being a clone?"

Chemistry, enjoyable. The study of matter, elements, and everything in between through experiments, trial-and-error, and learning from the mistakes of others.
Except Dr. Kris didn't make mistakes. He's yet to make any errors.
He looked through the lesson plan on his computer, studying the pictures of students in his first period class. They looked like your everyday students. The same thing in his second period class.
Not the same for the third period class after lunch. There were robotic characters in that class. But after that, he had no more classes to teach, allowing him to leave early if he wanted to.
His combed-back, brown mullet complemented his equally-colored eyes, hidden behind a pair of goggles with tinted glass.
His name was scribbled on the blackboard, Dr. Francois Elliot Kris.
The students seemed rather confused at his odd look, which is only enhanced with his friendly smile.
The smile faded as Kris started getting work done before the classes officially started.
-----
Jakob stood outside of Tremorton High. He knew the others were there, and he could ask them for help in finding KPG.
The key word: he could. However, he could not actually get their help, as that would involve something he can't do.
That is to describe KPG fully. Of course, if his creator were actually out here, he'd certainly take on a different look, a synthetic exo-skin to disguise himself completely.
But where would he be and why?

"Well, I'm basically the same, but a little more mentally stable. I was created by accident and thrown into the wireless internet spectrum from the original mind. I found a body not in use, modified it, came back, and now I'm pretty much the same as I was....I remember everything from before, though, so I really am just about the same." He replied.
"It's a bit complicated, I know. Just think of me as Alex, though. It all comes out the same anyway. Don't worry about the other Alex....I don't know what's going to happen to him, but he's pretty much snapped from the stress of trying to be something he's not. Anyway, class is about to start....we can talk more later I guess, if you'd like, though."
He smiled a little and walked over to a seat near the front, by the windows, as the teacher began writing on the board and the other seats became filled.

"Good morning class," The teacher said, a surprising enthusiasm in his voice, "And welcome to another great year at Tremorton high!" Champ rolled his eyes. Great was a relative term. "My name is Mr.Gaiman, and I will be teaching..." He continued, but the door had suddenly opened. A blonde haired girl stepped in, immediately drawing all eyes to her. "Uh...hi," She said nervously, holding out a tardy slip for the teacher. He took it, and the girl slid to the seat in front of Azure. Champ could already see her grin. "Morning, Azure," She said, before irritably adding, "Champ." "Alice," Champ said, already on edge.

Alex just raised what would have been his eyebrow and looked at the newcomer for a moment, then tilted his head nonchalantly and looked to the front again.

Alice turned to Azure, Alex catching her attention. "Who's the tin-man?" She asked no one in particular.
