Seriously, when I get better MLaaTR conversation on 4chan than here, I get to think you guys really don't care much about the show anymore.
I blame myself for strongly encouraging OC promotion and use, but I've been doing my best to spur up some show discussion.
So what are we doing here? Why are you here?
As long as I'm around, this site will never go down again, that much I am determined of now, but how are we gonna cater to new fans with this kind of slack activity?
When Tremorton High went down, Al Möbius, Champ, and Hunter were freak'in miracle workers with the recruitment.
Right now, that's what we need. A good old fashioned recruitment campaign.
*sigh* I miss Kayla, Jessie, Isabella, Punkrobot, Hedgehog, Honeygirl, Britestar, and Mimi.

I feel like a huge part of the issue is that ten years after the fact it's just hard to drum up energy to talk about the show, and that we can't ever shake the feeling that we've said all that needs to be said. I was also planning to try to start conversations around the show by doing retrospectives on each episode, but I've kind of been busy with school, so that project is stalled/dead, but hopefully when I have time(*cough* November *cough*) I'll be able to get that going again. But yeah, to be honest the RPs will always thrive over show discussion, because they offer something the show no longer can:new content. I agree that the lack of discussion is disheartening, but at the same time I don't find it surprising. Also, yes, a recruitment drive is probably in order.

If it's any consolation. I'm still here.

You think there is not content but I can find more but you feel that it is boring. I got a lot of talk but I feel that it would be ignored. My role play idea wasn't even responded. You could have said you didn't understand or not interested but I got nothing.

Y'know Swoop, if you have thoughts about the show, just get them out. What also helps to drum up discussion is to ask questions. We want to know each others thoughts too.
Don't be afraid of anything.

Real life had stolen from us the best RPers those we'd ever had. That's the harsh we must face.
I'm now going to the college as the freshman and also the monitor of my class. Duty calls anytime when it needs. Also, I need some jobs those will keep my budget on the green line, and also loosen my divorced parents responsibilities.
By the way, I'm keep looking to our 4rum. Just call me if you need as Koith said in German.

Wait, the reason most leaved is for self fulfillment? They just want to fill their roleplay characters. I need to pause and think about it. I can understand if you have to prioritize your duties. This is just a luxury in the free time. It is best to come back when you have your problems fixed. speaking of problems one of the thing is needed is a voice. I don’t have speaker which probably should. However I do not think I have much of a voice.

In the past few days, I've come to realize more and more how irrelevant the show has become. Granted, there are people out there who very much still have a great deal of love for Jenny and the show.
But they don't want to be part of a forum. They don't want to be a part of this.
The reasons?
Not enough show stuff. Too much headcanon. Too much self inserts OCs. Essentially too much fanon.
I though we were adding to something that was already good. I didn't realize how unpopular it was. Truth is, we are a minority among the fans.
It's about time I took a step back and rediscover the love I first had for MLaaTR.

I made my characters as support characters. Most of them are awesome due to relation with the main characters or side character. I worry that I have been adding too many characters just for a small part, and I also worry of making an expendable character because that seems disrespectful. I should make a count on how many characters I made. I got an idea since I did a decent job with your character perhaps I make a help wanted when a character is needed. I just need to give a description of what I need.

In all honesty, the show was never very relevant to begin with. Sure it was praised by critics early on, it just couldn't muster the ratings that Nick wanted from it. Look at how often the scheduling was changed and the gaps between seasons; it's hard to believe that Nick itself even cared. That was all up to the show's crew and fans.
That's not to say it's a bad show, or that it didn't have a decently sized and committed fanbase. The problem is that there is only about 14 hours of material (according to my quick calculations. only counting episodes and specials) exist, and there is a whole decade that this material has been around. There's only so much to talk about the show, and it can only get farther and farther from canon from here.
I'm not too savvy with the communities of 4chan, DeviantArt, etc., etc., so I don't know how much activity there is out there relating to MLaaTR; as it is there are only two people outside of Tremorton, DeviantArt, and tumblr that I know of that even know MLaaTR. But it's hard to imagine that there isn't anyone out there interested in what we have here. It's very well possible there are many fans out there that simply don't know where to look. I know it took me six years to first discover this place.
Ultimately, real life has much higher priority over anything going on here, so it's understandable that we go through periods of inactivity. What's important to remember that no matter how things looked, there's always been a resurgence of some form or another here. There have been times that I thought it was all over only for an RP to bring the place back to life again.
Speaking of RPs, It could be possible there is an oversaturation of fanon, but like mentioned before, there isn't much else to do with a show that hasn't had any new official content since at least 2009 if you count the belated season three. The fanon is actually what I've considered great about MLaaTR and its community... for the most part(?) (I'd like to clarify that the slashed part was a poorly-worded jab at the not-so-savory side of fandom), the nature of the show opens itself up to elaboration unlike any I've seen from any other "kids' show." Just looking at some of the RPs here, you can't help but be amazed at the vast, creative, and intricate world the MLaaTR fan universe has become. I know this might not be for everyone, but I think with enough effort, we could appeal to anyone interested in MLaaTR.
These might be some big words spoken by someone who isn't around a lot (or at least logged in.), but that just goes back to real life. I don't have much free time myself, but I care enough that I would try my darnedest to help out when needed.
Well, there it is. I don't expect anyone to particularly agree with anything I've said, It's been a while since I've posted anything and I just thought I'd put my bit out there.
All that said, I'd be down for a good MLaaTR discussion as long as I'm not busy.

My problem mainly is the fact that school is rackin up their big guns. Clock is ticking as they say: with school ending and all. Then, of course, I've been gorging on ponies for the past month. So my attentions are, of course diverted more there than here. And likewise, I've hit the nostalgic low now. So my interest in the show has hit a sort of passive activity: where I like it yes but I have other things that take pecedence over it.

Perhaps perception is needed I barely showed any information about myself other then being critical, have good ideas and having bad grammar. We had few attempts at projects but fail for one reason or another. Most of the time it is lacking help. and maybe feeling of no impact when there is no response.

and maybe feeling of no impact when there is no response. I know how that feels man. Not alone here. But sometimes it feels good to get ideas out of my head, just to feel a bit accomplished.

Well, I recently had stalled my Koith's work during college. Well, at least when my burden weighs less, I will make a couple more RP and posting here.
