This is one of my favorite animated shorts, and is very nostalgic to me. The story of a millions of murdered robots...reborn into Tarboy for Vengeance. There was going to be a Tarboy 2 back in 2011, but for one reason or another the project fell through and it never got made. All we have is this character, Nash in this screenshot. While the creator and animator, James Lee, never said he outright quit on Tarboy, updates on it have stopped since 2011, and he's moved on to other efforts and projects.

You know, I already posted this a while ago on the "What I Found On Youtube thread." It is on page 2 there. Look here. --> tremorton.proboards.com/thread/2025/on-youtube?page=2I do admit it was a great animated short! Reminded me of this old movie, Robots, and a bit of MLAATR, but with it's own unique touch.

Wait, you mean Robots, as the one from Pixar (I believe)? I really like that movie!

Yes, that Robots movie.
Tarboy reminded me a lot of it.

Actually, Robots was by Blue Sky studios, the same studio that made the Ice Age franchise, Rio, Epic, and the new Peanuts movie. They also made a tech demo starring Popeye.
While I definitely like the look of Robots, it had a distracting lack of focus or theme, something Tarboy had. I can actually see Robots as a franchise if it had more focus, using the other movies to flesh out other elements and characters of the world.
Seriously, they had Robin Williams AND Mel Brooks in the same movie...and they did NOTHING with it. Disappointing is the only word, my friends.
