This that kind of crap as to why we need Barack Obama.
I rent a room. That's how I live. In fact many New Yorkers have had to resort to that due to the sky high rents demanded by the slumlords.
And then there's Emperor Mayor Bloomberg, who says he'll make housing, but for particular people.
I went for it. For that last year and a half, I've been sending in applications for an affordable apartment.
By law, new building have to set aside units for low and middle income.
Well, I finally get a response saying i could get an apartment, but when they looked at my income... they said no, I make too much money. I was $100 over the max limit. That's before taxes.
After taxes, I fall below the min limit. Still no.
I'm a bit depressed now.

There are ways to get around this sort of thing... depends on how muh of a dodge you are, or are willing to be.

I'm over it now. It usually takes me a day or two to go through the whole "denial, anger, depression, acceptance" thing.
What do you mean by "dodge"?

He means how willing are you to work your hardest to find loopholes, ways around the system, or flat out fudge the details. A dodge is basically a shady person, or as my sister would say, a sketch.
