So, I'm going to my Junior prom in a couple weeks, and it's proving to be nothing but stress. I have to go out and buy a tux with my dad this weekend(Yeah, buy. I need it for a wedding too, so I figure why rent one twice) so that's bound to be annoying. On top of that it seems like the group of people I was going with are all getting dates, leaving me as the last one going solo. I really don't know if I want to ask anyone. There's only one girl I'd really consider, and I get the feeling that she's extraordinarily uninterested in me. When does this start to be fun again?

Try asking that someone. Be modest, honest, and keep cool. If you get rejected, remember these words... IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. You still have a good 50-60 years ahead of you. Mmkay?

Yeah, but I sort of just spent a while getting on this person's good side, so things could go awfully wrong. Oh well, at least I get to ride around in a limo.

I could never get what's with these "Prom" things and related kinds of events.

Me neither, but the rules still apply.
Champ, just try it. Ask her to dance, if nothing else. Just try to be modest, honest, and calm about it. And if you are rejected. then remember those words, and avoid the water works.
Mmkay?

Oh, suit fitting is AWESOME I tell you dude. Get it done and enjoy the feeling of having clothing made for you, just you, and only you. Only tips I can give are don't hold in your gut, be honest if it doesn't fit right, and find a style that you like. Nothing worse than a taliored suit that you hate the look of, even if it fits like a dream.

Heh, I've got the same issue with the date thing. I'm not sure if I should ask him because I'm a girl, but in your case I say GO FOR IT! You never know, to her you might be the best person that asked. EDIT: Oh, ask if she's going first. If she says yes, she probably has a date. The early bird catches the worm! I would know, a girl asked the guy I liked to homecoming before I did. Also, do you guys think I should ask the guy? I'm not sure if he likes me that much. I mean, he asked another girl to the winter dance...

I asked the guy and he said no, but I was expecting that. Aw, well. I'm a Jane in this situation. Time for Morp!
