Space,
Filled with limitless cosmic energy.
A truly wonderful world.
Now, with the power of the Astro-Switches,
The youth of today can grab hold onto tomorrow!
SPACE IS IN YOUR HAND!!
Now, Swicth-On that youth!
Remember Brit and Tiff, right?
They're stuck up, sadistic, self-centered, fear-mongering, spoiled brats, in case you don't.
Now, let's take them, and give them character.
Let's develop them beyond their one-dimensional roles as bullies.
Let's give them a motivation beyond the "Evil because it's evil" of Xiaolin Showdown.
And, let's have some dense nutball uncover all of that for us.
That, my friends, is Kamen Rider Fourze.
Local weirdo, Gentarou Kisaragi, is just entering highschool along with his childhood friends, Yuki Jojima. Gentarou goes to school not to educate himself, but with only one goal in mind: to befriend every single person he meets, starting with the hardest. Despite how most of these hard friends are complete scum at first, Gentarou keeps digging around and eventually finds what is truely going on and does his best to solve these people's problems. All the while blowing up giant monsters!
Gentarou and Yuki are very charming in their flamboyant happiness, Gentarou being especially endearing by offering all the help he can at a half-moment's notice, which also serves to help him uncover the personal problems that these champions of the schoolyard have buried deep within.
Again, other characters join the cast as well, and at first they seem almost exactly like the Crust cousins. But thanks to Gentarou's happy-go-lucky attitude and refusal to give up even if it costs him his life, he quickly earns their legitimate companionship, and they turn into people you yourself would want to hang out with. (For more than shallow reasons, mind you.)
