NR-5 is a Construction Robot Girl. She can transform into a lot of different machinery. She also has a mind of her own, a kind one, mind you.
These short stories will be based on her daily adventures, in school and at the Tremorton Construction Site. ------------------------------- It was a summer day, the birds were singing over the Tremorton Construction Site, where a new building was being built. Work was on hold, however, and NR-5 was sitting down on a long cement block, oiling herself. The manager walked up to her. "Good morning, NR-5." "Good morning Sir." "Okay, NR-5, were worrying that some of the supports in the building are not bolted in well. Locate these weak points so that work can be continued. Off you go" NR-5 stood up and walked under the red supports that stood high. She wondered what on earth could be wrong, until she heard some creaking from a certain support. She looked at it, and was terrified to see that the maneger was right, there WAS something loose! She rand in front of the support and looked hastily, and without wasting time she formed herself into a forklifter with a small arm on it, held the above support in place as she quickly replaced the bending support. The creaking stopped. She transformed back, sat down and looked around. The workers had gone home due to the work being unsafe for them at the time. "Why me," she asked herself. She jetted upwards to inspect the bolts on the supports. She drilled in some loose ones and went back down. She was exhausted, and laid down. She quickly got up when she heard the ground tremble, on the road nearby, closed for a machine to pass by, a huge truck was passing slowly by. It was as tall as two houses, it was as wide as the street. It was a red machine sent to re-tarmac the bumpy road. The ground trembled and NR-5 lost balance as the truck slowly passed by. The road behind the truck became hot and bubbly with the huge heater at the back of the truck. NR-5 awed up at the machine as it passed by.

Good sense of narration! Really like it! Also tells us something that people can identify NR-5 with. In addition, does she have a less formal alternate name?

(Her nickname is Nerrisha, but NR-5 is much shorter.)
The manager came towards NR-5. "NR-5, I see you did a good jorb." "Thank you sir." "Ok, I need to ask you something, important." The manager said, moving his foot slightly, "You said you can transform into other machines, right?" "Yes sir." "Well, the re-roading machine has...failed." he gulped, "Could you.... take it's place?" NR-5 was surprised, then worried. "But sir," she said, "I don't know how the machine works, how can I do it's job?" "I have it's schematics in the work room. Come inside, and see what you can make of them. Follow me." NR-5 followed him. "Now, NR-5," He said, almost marching, "this will be a very big and difficult jorb for you." He said. NR-5 stopped herself laughing at his faulty attempts to say *Job*. "Also," he continued, "will it be hard for you to transform into something as big as that, will it?" "I....I don't know...." NR-5 replied, entering his small office. "I always keep the schematics here in my orfice." He said, trying to say *Office*. He pulled a A3 sized blue-print from a drawer and gave it to NR-5. "I'll give you your instructions tomorrow morning. In the meanwhile, try to transform into what there is on the schematics, including the inside." NR-5 went outside with the blueprint in hand. She wondered as she walked to her *home,* mainly a dark green dumpster she emptied out a month ago. She went inside and thought how she could transform herself into that huge machine.

(As a idea of the machine (the Grey&Houseman tarmac layer) I screened it from Thunderbirds.) That night, in the silent ally NR-5 lived in, she had spent all night looking at the schematics, making other schematics of her own on another paper to make things easier and simpler for her. It was then that she felt tired and need for a re-charge that she fell *asleep.* She woke up the next day with her face against the papers. "Ah! Im not ready!" She told herself, afraid. She read the schematics while writing on another schematic with a extra arm coming out of her chest while crossing the road and running to the construction site. It was a strange sight, but she was worried of the consequences that would happen of being unprepared for such a transformation. She arrived at the construction site with the manager looking for her. "NR-5, where have you been?!" "Sir, I...overslept.." "Oh NR-5, just get it ready! I hate to wait, its bad for everyone. The Grey&Houseman tarmac layer NEEDS to be replaced ASAP!" NR-5 looked at the schematic in her hand. "I think I can do it sir" she said,"I hope.." she said under her breath. She closed her eyes and started to transform. Her robotic legs retracted into her skirt as it enlarged into a base. The manager stepped back. NR-5's skirt was now enlarged to a very large size, in the shape of the rounded rectangular base of the Grey&Houseman tarmac layer. She moved herself onto the empty road and continued to transform. Her white belly than enlarged and inside where noises of screeching and metal clanging. Things where changing from the inside. Her chest than became large and rectangular. The base had 8 wheels on each side, and almost covered the street. The back had a long hot metal bar touching the road to melt the tarmac and under it was unknown machinery to place the tarmac on the road. The only part of her that hadn't transformed was her head, which she couldn't transform. Even her arms had become movable stairs on the sides in case they needed to add something on her. She looked down to her left and smiled at the manager, who couldn't know if he should scream in fear or be shouting with joy. "NR-5!" He shouted up to her, "YOU DID IT!" NR-5 spun her head slowly around, and then laughed strangely. "OK," The manager shouted, "Your going to go by THIS route!" he shouted, and then climbed up the stairs and stood next to NR-5's head, and showed her a paper. "I see. Mind putting in the small hole down there, sir?" NR-5 asked. The manager looked around and spotted a hole NR-5 was talking about, then put the paper inside and climbed off. He waved at NR-5 as she tried to start herself. There was a rumble, and she realized that she started moving. Along the path she saw people standing behind barriers looking at the strange sight, and even her fellow workers spilt their mugs of tea and beer when they saw the familiar huge green machine tarmacking the roads. NR-5 felt she was getting more attention then she needed, which was very little, and went on.

Along the way she saw a bridge with a bumpy surface, and she started to worry. She slowly drove over the bridge. The bridge was old, and hadn't been checked for years. It was a old tower bridge (NOT THE LANDMARK!) to let other boats pass under, near the docks. It was obviously not maintained and the supports creaked. NR-5 looked left and right nervously. "Oh," she cried, "I wish this wasn't part of the route!" Midway on the bridge her front wheel was on the other side of the bridge while the rest where still on the bridge. Then it happened. The supports under snapped into pieces and the bridge bent and swayed, now only supported from the two towers. The bridge now curved as NR-5's new machinery weight was very heavy, and the middle of the bridge was touching the water. NR-5 was horrified, and tried to transform back to normal, but she couldn't. She was stuck! The two towers holding the bridge with a strong rope where collapsing quick. NR-5 tried to move herself off the bridge but she couldn't move from the wreckage! She managed to transform her arm into a gun and shot a rope towards a building nearby and started to retract the rope. She did the same with the other arm and she started to pull herself from the bridge, slowly. She couldn't transform back into her normal form and was still the huge machine. It wasn't easy. She managed to get halfway off the bridge, but half of the base was still on the bridge! There was a explosion, as the tension of the bridge on the ropes with the towers was too much. The old tower bridges snapped ad the whole bridge tumbled into the water and splashed leaving NR-5's 8 back wheels in the air! NR-5 screamed when she realized his, and pulled the rope with al her might. Soon there where 6 wheels in the air, then 4, then 2... and then she finally pulled herself out of danger. She sighed and waited for 3 minutes to rest, then continued on the route.
After finishing the tarmacking route she arrived at the construction site and transformed back to her normal self with the help of some workers and some tools. She found that a pen she used earlier to do the schematics had got stuck inside her and blocked something, which made her unable to transform from the chest down.
She told the manager about the bridge and how she almost fell into the river and that the bridge is broken. "Hmm, this is interesting, NR-5. We where going to fix that bridge two weeks ago but we never did, got forgotten and all. Good jorb, NR-5, well done," the manager said, patting NR-5 on her arm (because he couldn't reach her "shoulder",) you'l have a week off, you deserve it." NR-5 smiled slightly, but she was very tired and didn't say anything more and nodded. She walked home, and slept in the afternoon after the hard day. She might have a harder day tomorrow, at school. But thats another story.

(THIS STORY INCLUDES NON EPISODE MATERIAL, CONFLICTING WITH THE SHOW DUE TO NR-5 MEETING JENNY AND OTHER CHARS.) The sun started to rise and NR-5 woke up from the light peering inside the green dumpster she lived in. (She cleaned it, mind you) She stood up and pick up her bag from a corner and filled it with empty copybooks, a can of ink, some books and two small oilcans.
She strapped it on her back and opened her dumpster and walked to school. Her first day of school. While walking, she looked at her system-time. "6 A-clock" she told herself, "I'm early today from that rest in the afternoon. Nothing will go wrong, I hope." She arrived in front of the school. It was 6:30 in the morning. (I think school starts at 7 or something.) She went inside. She found her locker and tried to open it from the padlock, but her large metal fingers slipped and prevented her from turning it to the code. She looked around the empty area wondering if she should of come later. She transformed her hands into grippers to grip onto the lock and opened it with ease as she had memorized the code. She placed her books in the locker and made arrangements. When she finished, the school door opened and the students came inside. It wasn't their first day of school, and NR-5 knew this. They rushed in and soon the place was active and full of people. There was muttering and gossip about NR-5 and she was unaware of this. "Look at that," Tiff whispered into Britt's ear, "Instead of one junk bot, we've got two!" Britt smiled. "With her being new, we can pull a few tricks like we did with Jenny, but now, we have the upper hand!" "What do you mean, cus" Tiff asked. "This robot is new, and won't expect a thing from us. Also, she might even be more daft than Jenny, and we, well we know what went wrong before, and we can prevent them and succeed!" Tiff snigered. "I like your thinking, girl. I like your thinking."
NR-5 looked around, not knowing where to go. She tried to ask some students but they just left her without a response. Finally, she found a surprising sight. She saw a robot, a robot like her, who was talking to others. She walked up to her and tapped her shoulder politely. "Hello, do you know where we can find which class I am in?" NR-5 asked. Jenny paused and stared blankly at NR-5. She also couldn't belive that there was another robot like her that could talk. "Wow, another robot like me, well...sort of..." Jenny thought. "Well," Jenny said, responding to NR-5's question, "Theres a pin-board down the corridor. It has all the names." NR-5 told her "Thanks!" and walked down the corridor.
"Did you see that Brad?" "Another robot girl." "Yes, another robot girl like me! One that will probably know how I feel." Jenny though for a moment. "What if the crust cousins try to do to her like they did to me! I better warn her about them." But Brad had his doubts. "What if it's a robot sent by Vexus? Like, to trick you?" Sheldon agreed. "Brad could be right, Jenny, it's not the first time Vexus tried to trick you with robots. Besides, robots girls don't just "pop" out of nowhere you know." Brad looked sternly. "Yeah Jen, things just don't make sense. Where did she come from? Why does she have a slight resemblance to your body figure? Why did she directly ask you for directions? It seems all to suspicious..." Jenny's heart sank. "Well, then, I guess we have to be on the lookout I guess." She picked up her bag from the floor and the group went to class, while Sheldon went to a different class. To Brad and Jenny's very surprise, in class, there was NR-5, sitting right next to them.
