Well, since other people have put up an art thread, I may as well not be any different. First project I may as well show is this (Picture attached somewhere in this thread!). Lately i've been kind of trying to solidify (well, that is saying the less clunky version of "3D-ize") Plink a bit. So far, this is proving to be a bit of a challenge (compared to other things i've done, i'm literally trying to balance simple cartoonism and practical realistic functionality...which would explain why this version looks a bit [?] more elaborate than the version i made using simple curves [see current avatar]) The general lo-down of the character is that he looks similar (?) to Jenny with the exception of: A: being male (thus adding heavy significant differences...need I say more.) B: An Inch smaller C: A radar dish on the top of the head (looks like a very short and almost unnoticeable antennae in the "inactive" state). D: Being more of a sky blue color than a turquoise blue. Though his "shirt" shell has three semi-thin orange and white lines that span across the chest and the tip of his shoes are grey. So far, my current challenge is going to be his pants, legs, and shoes. The stylization is completely different from what I normally model. Enjoy! Attachments:

What program did you use there?

Blender 3D. It's a freeware software. Pretty professional for one I'll say.

Okay I am cutting my work off here. So far, I have finished modeling everything (well...at least the basic necessities. I haven't installed the radar mechanisms yet). And have mostly rigged everything (need to fix up the fingers and neck...plus rig the eyes...and maybe install the rest of the radar dish). Here's a render. yes I intentionally hid the fingers. Super cool!!! if it was an action figure, I would have bought one right now. Thanks! That might be achievable via 3D printing...but frankly, Im not into that kind of thing yet.

Well, just get Blender 3D and tinker with it. Blender should be free (last I checked anyways). It may take a while to learn though. --------------------------------------------- I've seriously been tempted to do a small clever fanvid using the character. Of course, I've got to watch it concerning the copyright Infringement issues.

Generally, I tend not to draw my OC's by hand...but I couldn't resist with this little test. Enjoy!

Marie: You know, Jane! You're nearly looked like me,
Koith *shrugged*: Nein! She got not so many things to be as the same like you. Nevermind, I'll do the same with her as I did with you!
Marie: Uh...what?! *jealous*

Kind of changed Plink's headshape and hair design to mimic the cartoon a bit more. Will do the same with Alice...eventually. May also Model Jenny for the heck of it one day. Enjoy! Attachments:
