Srsly, this "the and now" pic is just depressing to look at. My usual TV shows these days consist of: Adventure Time Regular Show Teen Titans GO! Beware the Batman Gravity Falls Hardcore Pawn American Dad

We don't have TV. So usually we just watch the movies on hand.
When I get the chance though, I'll probably watch some Dr.Who.
And lately, as I've probably stated earlier, I have been watching MLP.

That picture is absolutely depressing...
My 'TV' watching these days mostly comes from from Netflix or otherwise-streamed sources, as most of what I like either doesn't air anymore or doesn't air when I can watch it.
NEON GENESIS EVANGELION -Rurouni Kenshin *Kaze No Stigma *Psych *Hataraku Maou-Sama *Gravity Falls -Doctor Who
It's rare that I watch FiM these days, but occasionally I'll splurge on an episode or two
UPDATE!!! So yeah, I don't want to cause to much fanfare about my rave, but I'd just like to add Evangelion to this list and casually mention that it is OBJECTIVELY THE GREATEST ANIME EVER! Yeah, that's all I wanted to say...

Lately it's been Once Upon a Time, Doctor Who, Fate/Zero and the West Wing for me. Still not totally sold on Once Upon a Time, but I've absolutely loved everything else.
Also, yes, the loss of Nickelodeon Studios is absolutely depressing. I went there the last year it was open, and I have to say that kids going to Universal now have no idea what they're missing out on.

Well from what I learned from Cracked.com several icon monuments that were scene in the movies were taken away. Icons such as the fortune telling machine the slime fountain are no longer there anymore. A kid died climbing slime fountain and they take it as we can’t have nice things. It is sign that childhood is over when fortune telling machine was replaced by a Pepsi vending machine. Nostalgia is expandable if children are endangered. That does not explain fortune telling machine. My guess it was more cost efficient. As I said before expandable a word we learn all too well of.

My favorite TV shows are Daria and Parks and Recreation. (Along with Hey Arnold.)

I've mostly been watching anime on streaming sites.
One particularly good one is Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, which is a delightful mish-mash of tons of great sci-fi tropes. There's a bit of everything. Star Trek, Starship Troopers, Terminator, Blue Submarine No. 6, all wrapped up in a nice little 16-episode package.
I've also been watching Attack on Titan, it's a very interesting show with plenty of plot twists and great character development.
There's a neat web series from the creator of Adventure Time called Bravest Warriors. Highly recommend that one because it's basically a sci-fi Adventure Time with a bigger cast.

TV shows I generally watch outside of MLaaTR:
Rick and Morty My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Monsters Inside Me Price is Right Family Feud Family Guy South Park
The reason why I watch these are more for information than entertainment. A couple of them are game shows, as broadcasting these shows give the viewer a sense of "background participation". I find them uplifting for me, as being part of the show induces mental excitement and energy when contestants win.
