G'day from an Aussie mlaatr fan. Been a fan since early last year when I first found out of the show. Now I've found this forum, so I'd thought I'd sign up to partake in the discussion of all things Jenny So, yeah... hi all.

Ah, an Aussie! Greetings from a Foster. Where in Australia are you from? I have a relativbe somewhere down there. I'm in South Australia. Hello back and Welcome how did you find out about mlaatr, TV or internet? *curious* I'll answer that. I actually found out about mlaatr purely by chance. I was searching around for Powerpuff Girls related stuff (big PPG fan, I am) and I found this PPG Doujinshi ppg.snafu-comics.com/ (don't worry, it's not naughty at all). Looking through the cast, I saw this cool looking robot type character. I read the description, bio and then saw the series this character 'Jenny' was from 'My Life As A Teenage Robot' "Hmm, that sounds really interesting" I thought, so I checked our local payTV guide (Foxtel) and luckily enough, Nickelodeon had just started showing it, so I even got to start at the first episode. And of course, once I started watching, I was hooked. I'd even say that my mlaatr addiction has overtaken my ppg addiction now.

Southeast or west? My aunt lives in Yarrawanga. I believe that's actually on the border of Victoria/New South Wales (unless there's another Yarrawanga I don't know about). I live in the State of South Australia, specifically in the metropolitan area of the State's capital, Adelaide. Go and have a look on a map of Australia, or, better yet, load up Google Earth and type Adelaide, Australia into the search box to see where I am. Then zoom the map out to see where Adeliade is. OK retsofnoraa, where on this planet are you?

OK retsofnoraa, where on this planet are you? Who, me? Why, I'm in the US of A. My dad and his sis lived here in Wisconsin, but Janet moved out when teaching jobs became suddenly available in Australia. When her time was drawing to a close, her plans changed when she met the man she would eventually marry. She pops back now and again, but she's revoked her US citizenship. Yeah, she's in the town you're thinking of, but there are three more Yarrawangas scattered across the country. BTW, what's your opinion on the South Park controversy? I hear it's been quite a stir down there.

I'm really not all that fussed over what's going on with the South Park controversy. I really like watching South Park and I know that whether it's Tom Cruise, the Pope, World Of Warcraft or even Steve Irwin, I know the show's creators are just having a bit of fun and nothing more.
I haven't seen the full episode (we're about two years behind in the episodes shown), but I have seen the scene showing Steve Irwin in hell with the Sting Ray still hanging from his chest (and I'm now downloading the episode as I write this post to have a look)
Sure, maybe they've done it a bit too close to his death while his family are still greiving and all, but other than that I'm not fussed over it at all.
That's just my opinion on it anyway.

It's a bit ironic that Satan makes a remark similar to that in the toon. ...but it's just too soon. I mean, he died only a coupe of weeks ago! Actually, that entire portion of the ep may be partially based on an incident where a US political pundit (Bill Maher, if you're interested in that sort of thing) got in trouble for a similar costume. Here it is.
