Though not truly of the "Project 13" design, he is modified to be nearly the same (as stated previously, the prototypes that were later to be renamed are very similar to the XJ series robots, but obviously designed as males).
After somehow being spawned from the original Alex, his AI came to inhabit what was essentially a very close remake of the original Alex, though it had been made in Japan.
He is closer to what Alex had been like as a human...the "Real" Alex's mental state had been degrading.
What really happened was that the 'virus' Vexus had implanted in the first Alex had actually altered his code to continue corrupting itself, until eventually (at least it was hoped) he somehow caused harm to XJ-9. However, his system's failsafe unleashed a more stable backup that broke off......
AGE: 18
REAL AGE: Less than a year.
PERSONALITY: Happy, fun-loving, overconfident. Loves technology. Tries not to let stuff bother him. He's actually shy about girls, though, but at the same time hates being alone, which is why he tries to hang around the other vigilantes.
He has the memories of his old self, which causes him to feel guilt sometimes (especially about the breakup with Jenny).
Not as emotional as the original iteration.
ABILITIES: Arm-rifle transformation (either energy bolts or shells, semi or full-auto, can snipe), two plasma blades, various other weapons (laser palms, rockets, wrist-mounted lasers, saws....similar to Jenny's transformations).
***********
Please excuse the long back-story. It's basically there beginning in Soul Crisis and continuing in Revenge of a Teenage Robot Part 2, but that serves as a summary.
Also, it's yet to be decided where the body came from....whether he stole it or what. Maybe I'll decide later that the creator is hunting him down or something......
Also, those wanting to see the original, just go to the Wakeman's Lab Board and look for the Alex Johnson thread.
