The Hunter is an ordinary young man with a profound appetite for sport. He travels the globe, matching wits with various heroes and villains. His preferred event is the deathmatch, in which he pits his intellect (and laser gun) against his opponent's full power. To date, he has not lost, though he always spares his victims as reward for a good fight.
His current destination is the city of Tremorton. He has heard good things about the robot called XJ9, and he wishes to see if she is the worthy opponent he has been seeking all these years...

For those uncultured youths out there, the quote is from "The Most Dangerous Game", a short story which also became a movie.

Correct. That short story was part of the inspiration for my character. That, and Steve Irwin's Croc Hunter, specifically as parodied by South Park's "Australian Outback Guy." Throw in a little Indiana Jones for visual flair, and you got the Hunter. But don't expect a prize for your insight, on account of I'm poor.

No worries; I'm a big fan of the story, and the imrovsational genius of Rainsford.
