I saw a movie called Missing lynx. It was independent movie. It felt that it needs work you can feel that there not much detail in few scenes that make it like amature who made it. It has great premise and plot twist. It is surprising movie to watch.

Never Say Never, not much of a JB fan but i seen this movie just for the heck of it.
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
The Good: There are some interisting stuff in it like how he begin and stuff.
The Bad: The 3-D effects are terrible, the fangirls attend to get annoying at some hand, it gets a little boring, this movie should be on mtv instead in theaters.

I've recently become OBSESSED with that new animated movie "Rio"...I've seen it 4 times in theaters already, so....I'll post my review here that I posted on IMDb...XD
Rio is simply a spectacular film that does everything right, and is likely the best animated film that we've seen since last year's incredible 'Toy Story 3', or even this year's 'Rango'.
The movie has the great starting quality of having an all-star cast assembled. We have Anne Hathaway, Tracey Morgan, George Lopez, Jesse Eisenburg (The Social Network) and others to keep us entertained. They all turn in fun, enjoyable performances. Definitely a nice job on casting.
The animation...This is made by the guys who made Ice Age. The one redeeming quality of the latest Ice Age movies is the AWESOME animation. This movie ups the anty even more. Many shots are full of rich colors, providing great visuals and it provides a nice background for the characters to explore and run through.
The plot...Eh. It's basically a "last of species" kind of movie. Basically, the main character Blu is the last male of his species, the Blue McCaw, and he has to...Reproduce with a female blue McCaw, who isn't fond of him at the start. While not a completely original plot, it is an entertaining one and it keeps you interested throughout.
The biggest part of the movie, however, is THE CHARACTERS. Never have I seen a movie that provides so many likable characters. From the very moment we see Blu, we're introduced to unique, fun, zany and extremely likable characters. By the end, it gives a sense that you care about the characters you're seeing, which is always a plus in any movie. However, the human characters are extremely undeveloped throughout, and feel stale and out-of-place with the main plot by the end of the film.
This film also has the decency to feature...Songs. While some can be quiet random and out-of-place, will.i.am and Jamie Foxx put on an AWESOME song performance halfway through the movie. It feels like a Black Eyed Peas song, yet has a great Samba touch to it. While I can't say I enjoy Samba too much, the songs in this movie are fun and get stuck in your head real good.
One more thing I need to add is the main villain in this movie...The main villain is a down-on-his-luck cockatoo who used to star in action movies, who has an almost devilish French accent and speech, and is almost like a James Bond villain...I don't know about you, but that is freaking' AWESOME...
Overall, Rio is definitely a fun movie. While a few problems plague it, Rio has few flaws in-between to prevent it from being a real fun experience.

Just saw Scott Pilgrim. Yeah, pretty late for a review.
What do I think? I REALLY f*cking hated it for the most part. To be fair, a lot of the parts I hate do a lot of cool things despite how I hate them almost as much as I hate Gundam. For example, there are nerdy references here-and-there, the fights are cool, the cinematography is really unique and comic book-eqsue at times, and the special effects are done really well; it's one of those times where they know they can't do serious CGI right, so they go off the walls with it instead.
What didn't I like about it? Well, for three fourths of the movie everyone is pretty much a Crust Cousin. No one is supportive, everyone is a hypocrite, not a single character is likable except the titular Scott, and all of their dialogue is so obvious that I might as well read a fanfiction. Actually, no, that gives fanfiction writers way too much credit. I know it's supposed to be a parody, one of those "stating the obvious" jokes, but the problem is that it's used so often and so seriously that it's impossible to laugh for most of the movie's jokes. Another thing I hate about EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER is that they all care about Scott's life, but they couldn't give less of a sh!t about his feelings, they all just want to manipulate him for f*cking kicks. It's like Bella from Twilight, but instead of one person being a horrible bitch that manipulates and victimizes everyone around her, it's every person on the planet all out to get this one guy, and like Bella, it would be interesting IF IT WAS INTENTIONAL.
That's especially true with Ramona, the girl he's fighting for through all of the movie. Scott may have gotten the Self-Respect Sword, but to me he's still a manipulated Battered Wife archetype.
I give this movie 2.5 Evil-Ex nonsensical cheap shots out of 5.
Oh, and is it really so hard for writers to give characters realistic dialogue? I mean, last time I checked we were past the Shakespearean age.

Hey now, if I was forced to choose, I'd rather watch a movie about the Crust Cousins than a movie about XJ9. After all, wonderful films have been made out of deliberately unlikable teenagers (Heathers, one of the few non-horror 80's movies I have any affection for).

I would prefer to watch a movie where the main at least does something about being surrounded by punks instead of taking it like a little bitch. Granted, Scott Pilgrim got the Sword of Self-Respect, and that was my favorite part of the movie. (I cheered out loud when the ginger girl shot herself.)

Oh, and is it really so hard for writers to give characters realistic dialogue? I mean, last time I checked we were past the Shakespearean age. THOU FIEND! If anything, the Bard's tongue is not enough present in the films of this age! Wouldst thou reduce the vast and wondrous beauty of the English language to THIS foulness [NSFW]? (Why, yes, I am making merriment at thy expense. Wherefore dost thou ask?)

Just finished a little-known film called The Darkest Hour.
From the beginning, it's your typical blockbuster disaster flick. Characters filled with stupid, pointless POV shots, nonsensical phenomenon like the whales dying off, etc.
However, things start to change when we start learning how the alien baddies that are causing the disaster work. Specifically, their mechanics/biology. If you remember electronics from physics class, a lot of the theories about these creatures makes sense, at least from my limited understanding.
The way everything seems to play out, I honestly woud've liked it better if it was a cartoon, since the ending gives a sign of hope and continuation. All of the foibles in detail here-and-there would be much easier to forgive, such as the creature design.
On the topic, I liked how these creatures were just mysterious forces of nature at first, again seeming more in line with the disaster movie motif at the beginning. They only lose that feeling when their weakness is fully exposed, because their design feels a little lackluster. It's like a floating Medusa head with the tentacles circling around like rings. I'd have no problem with that being in a cartoon, however, because it's a pretty unique design as far as cartoons go. In a movie, however, it's been kinda trumped by Bayformers. (Say what you want of the movies, but the designs are really freaking cool.)
I give it seven electro-magnetism theories out of ten.

saw the movie Secrets of the Kells made me raise my expectations. the animation is great and it is good way to test blue ray. It was coming of the storm movies with the vikings and face fears with krum. it was a good watch. there is suspense and wonderment in the story.

I saw the Boris and Natasha movie it was not that bad. I have to say it was better than Rocky and Bullwinkle movie when comes to writing. It felt more like how the series was. It was corny, the production values felt cheep and it was like improbe act but that was I thought it was its charm of the series. I was the so bad its good and I was so amaze what they did that I found it cute.

I saw the movie Monster University. I think it was suppose to be a miniseries. It good a start there were parts that felt like they were forced and speaking of forced it stretched that it easy lose caring for like several of the new characters. One worthy note is to show how crucial the carrier of scaring is along the pride it brings. It made me pitty to Randall. I did not care much for the new characters. It felt like padding for tree episodes pilot.

I saw the movie Frozen it was great. Think this movie is repair of the concept of love which Twilight damaged. This movie had a lot of songs that to have to compare to compare to previous Disney movie that have songs to judge it better. It really hits the heart especially the song Let it Go. Maybe it was previous songs that make that song greater. Maybe it is the song Would you like to build a Snowman and the other song of the duet opening the doors. This movie is worth it and make sure I do not forgot what Disney and Pixar did not forgot their touch and to remind they still can be in their A-game.
