This will be an RP about our character's love interests. You can either add to each others stories, or share your own.
There's really no main story to follow.
Now to begin...
* * *
Classes are over at Tremorton High, and the students are leaving. As usual there is a robot fight taking place nearby. As the fight goes on, a truck crashes into the irregs and flips over. A girls crossing the street falls and is about to be crushed, then there is a sudden silence.
XJ-0 is holding the truck up. The irregs have been put down. She looks up at the azure hero.
ZERO: Are you okay?
She gets up and smiles at him. Her eyes glimmer she is blushed. She gives him a kiss on the cheek, which surprises him. He had saved many before, but never had he been thanked like that. Now he's blushed.
The girl runs off.
IRREG: Oooh, smoothy!
Zero glares at the fallen irreg and slams the truck on all of them.
This is the story of Zero and Iris.

(This takes place after the events of "WTHIGO?", for all those who weren't involved, it's here: www.tremorton.proboards33.com/index.cgi?board=crisisrp&action=display&thread=1283)Jenny was alone. Alex still hadn't come online. He was the first "normal" robot she had ever felt that way about (YK9 was all but forgotten, since he was constructed with a dog-like personality). Sheldon, of course, was extremely depressed, as one of his few friends had completely obliterated his chances of ever getting together with Jenny. And, as usual, Amanda was ignored, which made HER feel sad. It seemed as though none of them would ever find love............ ******************************* ".......*beep*.............ugh..........wha' happened?" After about 2 months, Alex had finally woken up. He checked his clock. It was getting into January. He also knew very little about his past. He knew his friends, but he couldn't remember who created him, or why. He had no "real" programming, just his personality. He was a free robot and could do what he wanted. And what he wanted right now was to find out who's basement he was currently residing in..... ....and also what was causing the explosions he could hear outside.

Jakob was sitting in the living room of his and KPG's home. The couch was duct-taped all over, even when it didn't need the tape. It had an odd charm to it, Jakob felt. The television that the duo recently got was portraying the latest news. Enemies assumed and confirmed to be enemies randomly attacked the town, just like every super villain and their dog.
Jakob liked that fact, however. It brought excitement, even if an Azure-blue robot defeated the group of enemies instead of Jakob. The robot crushed said enemies with a truck, something Jakob can't pull off.
Before Jakob can comment on the news, KPG walked into the room, wearing his mask. At that point, a commercial regarding Valentine's Day came up. Curious, Jakob had to ask.
"HJ, what's Valentine's Day?" he asked, almost in the same way a small child asks, except real small children don't have metallic echo-filled voices or the indifference cats give their owners no matter what they do.
KPG didn't respond instantly like he usually did. Either he didn't like the subject or he needed to think deeply for an answer that didn't make sense or utterly suck. What he did do was hand Jakob a belt of dimly glowing rounds for Jakob's plasma-based bolt-action sniper rifle.
"No answer?" Jakob asked.
"I'm thinking." KPG replied, holding up a finger.
After a pause, KPG began an explanation.
"Valentine's Day, to me, is a waste of time that's only made up by the fact that you can get "free" chocolate, which one can easily get by waiting for Halloween."
"Okay, what would it be for others?" Jakob asked.
"It's a day dedicated to the concept of love. People pass cards to the people they love and it's generally all crazy stuff that I'm officially too old for."
"Speaking of which, how old are you?
"I was twenty-nine when I first activated you. Twenty four years more means I'm fifty-three."
"And I assumed the concept was ageless. You can't exactly say "officially" in that case." Jakob said. He knew KPG didn't like the so-called holiday.
KPG caught that Jakob was trying to annoy him for kicks. He simply shook his head and went downstairs. Despite wearing the mask, Jakob could tell he was smiling.
"By the way, pick up some green onion cakes when you go out." KPG called.
Jakob didn't need to reply. He's known KPG all his life and he has yet to fail in obtaining green onion cakes, unless the store was closed. He simply checked his equipment well-hidden under his coat and left the house.
KPG had been working on something for the past month. Before that was the evolution from the Sniper rifle prototype, which now featured an advanced scope, a bolt that was easier to work with, and more power and accuracy behind shots.
On the road, Jakob spotted an armored humanoid robot with a rocket launcher, blowing up cars and cackling stupidly. He spotted Jakob, and quickly fired a shot at him.
Jakob simply leaned to the side, letting the rocket soar away. He then silently whipped out his revolver and took a shot at the attacker. The large round pierced the robot's shoulder, but it wasn't enough to damage any internal systems.
Another rocket flew. This time, Jakob took aim and fired, tearing off one of the fins. The rocket spun out of control before soaring back randomly and exploding near the enemy robot, who dove to dodge shrapnel.
Jakob emptied the last three shots of his 5-shot revolver into the enemy robot, who tried to get up. Both of them reloaded their respective weapons. Jakob ran towards the enemy robot while reloading. By the time both were done, Jakob was in the air with a jump. One rocket was soon in the air, and nearly caught Jakob's coat tail.
Before the second could fire off, Jakob stomped the enemy robot. The face plating buckled and sparks flew from fresh cracks. Oil and hydraulic fluid started to spray as Jakob jumped off again. The robot lifelessly slumped in the middle of the road.
Jakob pocketed his revolver, replacing it with what looked like a thermos. He opened it and started filling it with the fountain of oil. By the time the flow ceased, the thermos was already full. Jakob secured and put away the thermos. He'll want it later. Soon, the streets were cleaned up, along with the robot, which was simply scrapped.
"Valentine's Day seems to attract more villains than usual..." Jakob muttered, "Maybe it's a perfect chance for them to attack heroes through their hearts..."

Zero sits at the top of a high tower, about 42 stories up. He usually just flies around, being that he takes his duty very seriously, but he's distracted.
ZERO: She kissed me.
He can't shake the thought from his head. This feeling is new, and he doesn't know what to do.

It seemed to Alex as if the house was empty. Nobody was home....he detected no movement or noise. The house was done up in grey and blue hues, with little in the way of decoration.
He searched the house.....two bedrooms, a large multi-purpose room that appeared empty, the kitchen, a bathroom, an office, and the basement he had been kept in. He finally came to the conclusion, after seeing the belongings in the second, smaller room, that it must be the house of Dr. Wakeman....and that it was Jenny's room he was in.
Looking at the clock, school would be getting out soon.
He jumped out the window to witness the final shots of the battle being fired by Jakob, and he jumped to avoid any shrapnel.
Laying low, he waited 'till everything was quiet, and Jakob had left before getting up again. Looking at his reflection on a chunk of charred steel, he saw himself for the first time.
He was no longer the layered shades of green that he had been. He had more rounded armor, more powerful, yet more compact weaponry......and a light-blue and greyish white paint job, with the designation of "13" painted on the left side of his chest plate....in light orange, assumingly so it would stand out.
Now he really was at a loss for what to do, and decided to wander into town, at least so the locals would get used to him.

(AW, DANG... I JUST TYPED A HUUGE POST BUT IT GOT LOST CUZ I PRESSED THE BACK BUTTON...) Amanda was moping on the front steps of Tremorton High, thinking about what had just happened. She had just been sitting in math class, doodling, when the bell rang and she darted out to grab her bags as quickly as possible so she could follow her usual route home...A few yards behind Sheldon. It was then when she realized she had lost a keychain from her schoolbag. Normally, most kids wouldn't care about something like that, but Amanda, being somewhat a perfectionist, had zipped back down the hallway to find her beloved keychain based on a cartoon she had been obsessed with for ten years.* After finding it, she ran back to the front steps, only to realize that nearly everyone had left, which left her on the front steps alone. Not that she couldn't go home or anything, but she just didn't feel like it. Amanda twiddled with her keychain, thinking about some kind of story she could write when she got home... And about how Valentines' Day was coming up soon. She groaned again, and put her head on top of her knees.
(* ...Yup, Amanda's interests ARE based off of mine. XD)

Skyway Patrol took care of press-related issues, and somehow avoided public outcry. Two months since the incident that lay waste to a good chunk of Tremorton's residential area. The damage was long repaired by now. The city crew seemed to be able to fix things like that within weeks. It still boggled the mind of even KPG.
Then again, he cleaned up the attacking fool within minutes before anyone could even so much as look out their windows.
Jakob's random walking left him off at the front of Mezmer's, the Teenage Hangout. The place wasn't that good for Chinese cuisine, but it worked when the dedicated restaurant on the other side of town was out of option.
In this case, it wasn't. But he entered the corner cafe anyway. He often used the place to listen to rumors and see if there's anything interesting to take care of.

Amanda raised her eyebrow. "Well, I'm guessing it means you're in love," she replied, not knowing really what other way to explain it.

There was a biker trying to hold up the shop. Jakob spotted him holding up a semi-automatic pistol up at the shopkeeper. Jakob pushed the door open to catch the biker's attention. The Biker's surprised look gave Jakob all the time he needed to whip out his sawn-off shotgun and fired.
Luckily for the biker, Jakob armed the shotgun with rubber pellet shells earlier that morning. The Biker fell down under the pain, but none of the hits were fatal. Rubber bullets would never be fatal unless there was a direct bulls-eye in the eyeball.
The biker groaned as Jakob reloaded the sawn-off shotgun with another shell. He grabbed the biker and dragged him out of the door. Jakob didn't notice, nor care that there was a girl who seemed to stare at Jakob, but not in a shocked expression. In fact, he didn't really care that everyone was staring.
After all, who wouldn't stare stupidly when a biker attempted to rob your favorite cafe, only to suddenly get blasted by some random vigilante and dragged out again without a word?

ZERO: Love? I've seen people in love plenty of time, but it always turned out bad. Besides, I don't even know this girl, but I DO know she goes to this school.

Amanda shrugged. "Maybe you just like her," she suggested. "Sometimes you can like someone you've just met, trust me." Amanda started fiddling with her keychain again.
