that inspired it, alot of my music is punk and alot of my fav bands just released political albums,i've also got songs called 'life in the world today','state of anti-union' and 'city at the end of the world'(which, despite being a few ppls fav in my town is about where i liv which i need to keep a secret)

I thought so. I love the song " Holiday" by Green Day. I think it most accurately depicts the U.S. Government now.

Ok. American Idiot is the only punk album I own. I have a bunch of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin albums though. They're really my dad's but I listen to them anyways. As Bob Seagar would sing, "Call me erratic; call me what you will. Say I'm old fashioned; say I'm over the hill. Today's music ain't got the same soul. I like that old timey rock 'n' roll!"

yeah, i like the older stuff too... the music's more challenging to play, and more rhythmic and energetic. A lot of new rock i find is really slow and drone-like, and doesn't go anywhere. The instruments just repeat over and over.
I like the political stuff too; not that i agree or disagree with what they are saying, but I like the fact they they are saying something meaningfull, and it makes you think.
