Penny Lane is a character I thought up of in a day, and think it could make for an interesting cartoon show. Yes I used the Beatles song Penny Lane as a reference, because I love The Beatles.
Penny Lane is a teenager in school with a real gift. She's a talented inventor, just like her father. Although some people refer to Penny as being a genius, a scientist, nerd, and geek, she still struggles with her school work because she'd rather invent something that could help people rather than know how The Civil War was won. People actually think that since Penny's an inventor, they assume she uses big words, but she talks like any other average person. She does get picked on and teased a lot, but she never lets it get to her.
Whenever somebody has a problem in their life, be it a personal issue or something that could help them in school, they always turn to Penny Lane. Her inventions are wacky, and over the top for even the smallest things, such as making the perfect cup of coffee to start her day. Most of the time whenever Penny's inventions do their job, they also have a tendency to backfire, making Penny her own worst enemy.
Penny's best friend Marcos is very supportive of Penny's hard work. They became friends when Marcos needed a boost in his physical strength for a Football game. She also saved him when the same invention backfired and turned Marcos into a muscle-bound, destructive monster. Marcos and Penny are friends, but are not close enough for a relationship because she feels Marcos is not the right man for her.
So... yeah, there's the character in a bit of a nutshell, a teenage inventor.
