After the long, heavy rain, it finally stopped...

//SCAN COMPLETE. NO MATCHING BIOSIGNS DETECTED.
KPG was no longer on Earth in that case- Jakob's scanning equipment was designed by the doctor, and was capable of detecting things through even the thickest of lead walls. Either someone out there had sudden access to some newly discovered material that had the properties to block such scans at all, or the late doctor's corpse was no longer on Earth.
The latter option was the only plausible one. Jakob called for a full scan to all known planetary bodies across the galaxy. Such a scan would take a while- even for immensely advanced computers like himself and the AI- hooked up into the supercomputer for the time being.
//WILL NEED TO TAKE THE MECH OUT TO IMPROVE SCANNER STRENGTH. YOU'LL BE ON YOUR OWN ON EARTH UNTIL THEN. WILL DIVIDE PROCESSING POWER BETWEEN SCAN AND POST-MISSION DIAGNOSTIC. PROCESSES WILL TAKE LONGER UNTIL ONE IS COMPLETE.
"Don't worry about me. I'll just go get some Shanghai noodles."
//UNDERSTOOD. BETTER TO DETERMINE DIFFERENCES IN SYSTEM PATTERNS WHEN WE HAVE A DAILY ROUTINE TO DIFFERENTIATE WITH PREVIOUS ROUTINES.
"I'll record the patterns for later review." Jakob grabbed his helmet and secured it on before making his way outside. The nearest Chinese restaurant- his preferred place- was close to Tremorton mall. Meanwhile, the mech initiated a blink to a deep, isolated area in space.

While pouring another full glass, Koith intended to empty it in one sip. But, who? Who taken his glass? Raising the empty eyes, the soldier widened them.
-Tony?
Before him, a blonde robot guy. Hell...he's looks like Marie like at a mirror.
-But, how?-Koith couldn't believe into his eyes-You died, decades ago.
-I'd never tasted the death, frere!-Tony replied-I just transformed into a new body. When you and my sister need me, I will be there. And,
Seeing Koith's glass of diesel, he continued:
-I think Marie won't be so happy when seeing you drinking like this!
-And how can I make her happy?-The blue soldier asked in his own hallucination-I'd brought this war, killed many innocent lives. How can I make her happy with those acts?
-You forget, Koith? Marie trusts in you. Even she'd known you're going in wrong way, she still, because she hopes you will find a true path at the end! But now, look at yourself,-Tony seems upset and disappointed-You're drinking, intend to end yourself with your gun. That's not the Koith Sofia Steiner as I knew, or else, Kriegsmaschine-Prototype 08, also my sister knew!
Koith's hallucination came to an end, thanks to Tony's intervention. He facepalms, a tight one.
-So,-He asked-How will I make myself again?
-You won't need to ask, Koith!-Tony pats Koith's shoulder-You won't need to,
Then, he disappeared into the midst of emptiness. Realizing what really happened, Koith saw his glass of condensed diesel poured all over the counter. It's just his hallucination, a weird one. Cleaning the counter, Koith then put the drink back to his deep cupboard. Stepping outside the cantina, the rain is over, he sees sunlight beneath the clouds.

((Y'know what? I changed my mind again... Bullet doesn't remember anything... that would just make things complicated.))
The rain that had perpetually pounded Tremorton since the battle of Tremorton had finally stopped, and the sun was once again beginning to shine through the clouds.
Bullet and Viktor once again found themselves at Mezmer's, where they had taken to automatically going to whenever there wasn't much to do.
"So," Bullet began after taking a sip of his robo-shake. "When do you think the next calamity's going to happen?" Tragically, this epigram wasn't entirely a joke.
"Let's hope never." Viktor replied sullenly. "That whole ordeal was just depressing."
"You looked pretty excited flying in on your Vespa." Bullet quipped.
"That was a spur of the moment type-thing." Viktor insisted, gulping down some more of his chocolate malt. "Adrenaline, watever you wanna say. Either way, I'm not feeling it now. I don't want to have adventure if it means others dying."
Bullet's expression darkened. Just because he was a robot didn't mean he felt nothing at the thought of innocent, useless deaths. "Well, I'm not in this for the adventure. It's the death that I want to stop."
He stared at his now-empty glass. A moment later he stood up. "Enough of this depressing talk. It's been a while since we've heard from Plink, let's see what he's been up to."
Viktor nodded in tacit agreement, then gulped down the last of his malt and also stood up. They paid for their drinks then went out the doors into the nascent sunshine.
"I found Plink's creator's address in the city's system," Bullet said. "Let's see if he's home right now."
Bullet lead the way that his GPS told him Plink's home was.

Plink had kind of sat at the desk of his computer thumbing casually through a comic book issue that he was given.
In a few minutes, he was planning on heading out again to do some more exploration...of course...that was until hearing a relatively unexpected knock on the door of his bedroom.
"Uh...h-hello?" Plink said nervously.
"Plink! It's me! Your father!" A familiar voice exclaimed in a nearly panicked tone.
Plink slammed his metaplastic fist onto a large button that remotely opened up the large sliding door of his room.
"I just heard of the recent issues concerning the Cluster attack and was allowed to step away from the business trip to make sure you were alright. Are you...wait a minute." Plink's father said before stopping to look at Plink suspiciously.
Plink's father seemed to stare at a small soot spot that was on Plink's arm.
"So tell me...how intense was the battle?" Plink's father said calmly...though it was evident he was starting to get slightly angry. "It was...wait...what?!" Plink said. "Unless you're meaning to tell me that this soot spot on your arm is merely a lab accident...in which case I should remind you that you are forbidden in the lab without my supervision!!" Plink's father said in a slightly angry tone. "Um no." Plink said.
Plink's father sighed. "John...Percival...Welton..." He said as he rubbed his temples. "You know perfectly well that you are not allowed in the outside world."
John stared at his father in a sheepish way.
"Um...why exactly." Plink said.
"Because John." Plink's father said. "People are not used to seeing humanoid robots roam around the streets on their own choosing. If people saw you, they could call in the government and haul you off."
((This would be a great point for Bullet and Viktor to come in and interrupt.))
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a neighborhood about three blocks west of Plink's own, AG1, or as she had been called, Alice Grace Jane, was sitting inside of a well decorated room listening to a small custom made mp3 player. She had her eyes so well fixed upon a small science magazine that she had nearly missed her mother calling her...for the umpteenth time that was.
"ALICE!!!" The voice of a middle-aged woman called out. At this time, Alice had taken off the large headphones that surrounded her spherical head and called out the door. "Yes mom." She said casually.
A short woman had popped in through the door. "How many times have I told you to take out the trash in the morning?" The woman said in a very cross tone.
"About...3589 times total?" Alice said.
Alice's mother gave her a very expectant look. "Well?!"
"I'll take it out now." Alice said.
"Good!" Alice's mother said. "and when your done with that, I need you to go into town today to pick up a couple of groceries."
"Okay then." Alice said.

((Gotcha... LLEEEEEEEERROOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYY JJEEEEEEENNKIIIIIINNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSS!!!))
Bullet and Viktor approached a rather nice house, it appeared to have not even been touched during the great invasion that occured not long before.
"This is where the GPS says this is where Albidius G. Welton, Plink's creator lives." Bullet said as he approached the door. "Let's see if anybody's home."
Bullet rapped out the first five notes of the quintessential door-knocking tune 'Shave and a haircut', then finished the last two with a press of the doorbell.

Plink's father turned around suddenly as the sudden knock at the door sounded...in, as Plink recognized, the age old knock pattern. His father motioned for Plink to stay in the room before walking up to the door, opening it, and giving a very casual "Hello?" To, as his suprise, another robot and a human. Plinks father stared dumbfoundedly at the two.
((Haha!))

Although Bullet and Viktor knew that Plink had a creator (how else would he exist?), they were still a bit surprised to see the man presumably his creator answer the door. The man initially greeted with a casual "hello," but upon noticing Bullet, a look of surprise came over his face.
Bullet responded first. "Umm... good day, Mr. Welton. My name is Bullet, and this is my counterpart Viktor. We met your, err, son, Plink a while back." Bullet suddenly remembered Plink saying hid father had been away, and suddenly realized that it might not be best to let in the Plink was a part of the battle. "We haven't seen him in a while, so we thought we'd drop by to see what he was up to."

"We haven't seen him in a while, so we thought we'd drop by to see what he was up to." Bullet said to a greatly dazed Mr. Welton.
"Uh...uh...could you excuse me for just one second?" Plink's father said before running back into the house to Plink's room...leaving the door open. "So..." Plink's father said. "You have been out." "I thought you already figured that out?" Plink said.
Plink's father kind of stared at Plink for a while before sighing. "Well...I guess considering that there probably are already millions of other robot's roaming around the city, I don't see why I should keep you locked up." Plink's father said. "There are two people waiting at the front door for you." Plink got up immediately and headed to the door.

"Uh...uh...could you excuse me for just one second?" Plink's father said dumbfoundedly, then ran back into the house... leaving the door open.
Bullet and Viktor looked at one another slightly perplexed and shrugged their shoulders.
"Ummm... interesting guy." Viktor commented after a few awkward moments. "Is he getting Plink or what? He just kinda left the door open."
"I dunno," Bullet replied. They then heard the metallic footseps that could only belong to Plink approaching from within. "I think Plink's coming now."

Plink simply opened the door.
"Bullet! Viktor! Hey! How've things been?" Plink said with an uneasy father behind him.

Plink appeared in the doorway, with an uneasy father behind him.
"Bullet! Viktor! Hey! How've things been?"
"Hey, Plink" Bullet and Viktor replied. "We've been as fine as we can be recovering from a Cluster invasion. How about yourself?"

"I've been okay...mostly." Plink said looking back at his father nervously.

"So yeah," Bullet continued. " It's been a while since we've met up, and we were just wondering what you've been up to."
Bullet picked up that there we some sort of tension between Plink and his father. "So, ya wanna hit Mezmer's or the like for a while? There's no shortage of fun stuff to do in Tremorton even in the wake of disaster."
((I'm Sgt. Pepper's lonely one-man band, I hope you have enjoyed the show. I 'm Sgt. Pepper's lonely one-man band, I'm sorry but I have to go. I'll be back tomorrow sometime. I probably won't get a ferry moment in the morning but I'll try to be back before too long.))
