I bought it a couple of days ago and finished it last night.
Justice League Task Force for snes sucked. Justice League Heroes was worse. Superman Returns... the last boss was a freak'n tornado. The Justice League animated games left everything to be desired.
When it come to the Justice League, Injustice God Among Us is truely redemptive. Netherrealm improves upon the Mortal Kombat engine by simplifying combo execution and removing the isolated block button, making it a good gameplay experience for pros and novices. Button mashing won't work in this game, but look out for cheese players. In addition, a single button is used to interacte with objects in the arenas and help to tun the tide if you find yourself in a pinch. Super Move animations for each character is impressive and will make you feel powerful.
The main story takes place on an alternate Earth where the Justice League under Superman has taken over the world after the Joker tricked him into killing Lois and thier unborn child. He murders Joker and conqours the world in 5 years. The Batman of that Earth has a weapon that can stop this renegade Superman, but he will need the help of the good heroes from yet another Earth.
The story kept me immersed. I could not put the controller down. Jenny sat next to me the whole time, glued to the tv wanting to see what would happen next. Playing the story from beginning to end will take about 2hours. With cinematics playing into and directly after each fight, it is like watching a movie.
I would highly recommend this game.

found out that Lobo will be in there. I think I should wait for the expansion pack which would come in a month or so.
