"And what," The good doctor said, raising an eyebrow at Koith, "Would that be?"

"Oh, cheer up!" Zeik said, giving the robotic siblings a playful slap on the back, "What could possibly be more frightening than--OH CRAP." Zeik stared across the cafeteria with wide, terrified eyes. At the entrance were his parents, a man in his 30's with a long beard and equally long hair, and a gynoid similar in design to a Hardsuit from Bubblegum Crisis
"I'll catch you guys later!" Zeik said, before quickly bolting off with his parents giving chase. "CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP--!!"
Zeik ran to the outside of the campus, looking over his shoulder breifly to see his parents catching up with him. In a desperate gambit, Zeik ran to a cliff and jumped off.
Halfway down the drop, Zeik felt something clamp around his waist. He looked over his shoulder to see what looked like a yellow rocked with giant red wings attached to his back. The rocket activated, boosting him up above the cliff and into the sky. He looked back at the cliff to see his parents waving and cheering. He flew down and landed in front of them.
"Is this--" Zeik stuttered in disbelief.
"It sure is," His father said, "And now it's all yours. It's helped me through a lot of desparate battles, now it'll help you. All you have to do is call for it." Before Zeik could say anything more, he was tackled by his mother.
"You're growing up so fast!" She exclaimed, tears of joy pouring from her eyes, "I'm so proud of you!!" His mother lifted him up and tightened her hug.
"Gakk! Mom, you're crushing me!" His mother ignored his plea, however, and soon his teary-eyed father joined in the hug.

Max and Jane both started laughing as Ziek ran out of the building.

Seeing another kid coming in, that doesn't matter, Koith continues:
-I just requesting your permission to establish a special detachment team! Under my supervision, they will pass the simulated missions by using your technologies. You know my purpose, but don't worry, I won't try to make them into the real soldiers!

Real soldiers?
Never mind the fact that such a concept is as abstract as "Perfection", this place hires staff- and is therefore keen on- training these children to be soldiers?
Ever since the reveal of the whole Stylus presence to the world, Lance's generation of Canadians had learned to become very untrusting of anyone planning to create next-generation warfighters of any kind- even if this specific robot in Wakeman's office was joking.
Should I run? He found himself pondering. The only reason he resisted was that he had nowhere to really go. The orphanage seemed likely, but they would track him there, if they bothered to track him at all. Given what he's seen and experienced in this institute, it wouldn't surprise him if they had already sneaked a bug on him or something.
"... What in the world is wrong with this school?" He found himself blathering.

Wakeman frowned, not sure she understood what Koith was asking.
"For what purpose?" Wakeman asked, "All of the students will be assigned to teams in the end, and if I'm not mistaken your Advanced Combat Training class would give them essentially the same training you're suggesting. Besides that, before long Alpha and the other teams will be doing field missions as well, and somewhere between that and classes they need time to actually be children, with lives outside of being heroes."
As she spoke she glanced at the door, seeing Lawrence through the glass. She frowned, wondering what the boy wanted. If his exam footage was any indication she had a feeling it would be immediate removal from the school. She hoped that wasn't the case. He had lots of potential, even if he didn't find himself inclined towards heroics. She frowned at the thought, wondering if there was some other path she could guide him onto that would allow him to put his exceptional talents to good use.

((OOC:I'd say I'm trying to set the stage for that, but that'd be a bit of an exaggeration. When we reach a good stopping point I'm going to write an epilogue to set up the first arc. The next episode is going to introduce a sixth and final addition to Team Alpha[Who I have a feeling Agai is just going to LOVE], and will feature yet another secret test from Wakeman, as well as setting the stage for our first major storyline. I'm not sure when I'll start it, since I'd like to take some time off to focus on other projects and take care of some things IRL, but hopefully it won't be too long. That said, if someone else[*cough* Jakob *cough*] wants to start an RP in the interim I'm definitely not going to complain. I'm just glad this first episode went well, and I'm trying to find ways to adjust my current outline for future episodes to accommodate Karen and Lawrence. I'll be honest though, we might just have to start an entirely separate storyline featuring a team that has both of them. If anyone is interested in helping set that up for the future I'd be more than happy to work with you to come up with something.))

((If that's alright, I think I will get started on my plans.))
Lance gave pause as he saw Dr. Wakeman's eyes through the glass of the door. She seemed just as wondering about that soldier robot's question as the student was... That had to be a sign of human decency behind the big cheese of this institute...
Besides, it was the first day. First days are always horrible, even back in Canada. It was part of the natural order of things, like grass growing, or the sun shining.
He decided to give this another chance. Tomorrow's a new day.
Lance creaked the door open, leaned into the office, and asked, "Could you point me to the dormitories?"

((Sure thing, let me finish up this scene with Koith and then I'll type up the epilogue and get out of your way.))
"Down the hall and to the left," The Doctor said, trying to give a warm smile as she regarded the boy, "You're in Room 562, Mr.Doppler, and your roommate's name is Tim Drake."
She leaned back then, trying her best to look encouraging.
"I hope you're enjoying your time here, Mr.Doppler," She said, "And if you need anything at all be sure to let me know."
She turned back to Koith then, hoping to finish her business with him soon. She had other business to attend to, and she only had so much time to work on it.

-I see.-Koith nodded-In my next class, I will arrange the teams, just asking if I could borrow some students from the other classes!
Turning to the Doppler, the kid in the room, he said:
-I had noticed you during the test, even though not fully analyzed the things I saw! You'd tried to evade the battle instead of fighting. Many kids said you're a coward, but not me! Sometimes, better to evade the fight if you don't have to.
Then, he waits for Wakeman's answer.

"That will not be necessary," Wakeman said, "L and I will be arranging the teams based on our analysis of the first exam. For now, focus on teaching your class. Leave the rest of these children's training to me."
((Are we done here, Koith? Because I'm seriously trying to wrap this up so Jakob can do his thing.))
