Max turned his head up to think a bit. "Well, i've already demonstrated by teleporting ability." Max said: demonstrating it again for clarification. "I can also fly, i've got super speed, a moderate amount of super strengths, I can deploy a various assortment of weapons and gadgets, and that's generally it."

"Well, my grandpa calls my abilities "Spiral Powers"," Zeik began, emphasizing the quotations with his fingers. "I can combine with other machines, absorb machines to heal myself, and I can lift a few thousand kilos. Oh, and I can do this--"
Green light was emitted from the holes covering his body, his hands retracting into his forearms, before being replaced with drillbits, similar drillbits bursting from each hole with a grunt of effort from him.
"So you could say I'm a good digger."

Ayame's eyes widened as she watched her fellow team members demonstrate their abilities. She honestly had no idea how an unpowered human like her was supposed to compete with anyone with those kind of abilities.
"Right," She said, "Well, in that case it would probably be best to use Zeik for frontal assaults, leaving Skyler and I to take advantage of any opening he creates."
Skyler nodded, liking the sound of this plan already.
"Max, you'd probably be best as air support," She said, "Although, to be fair, you could probably take Zeik's role just as easily."
She felt herself smiling as she looked at her team. She had a good feeling about their chances.

Max smiled before turning his right hand into a fairly large sized drillbit "I find this to be a pretty good weapon when you dash at somebody with it." Max said "But digging generally isn't something I do on a regular basis."
"Right. I'll alternate between Air and Land assualts." Max said to Skyler

"Sounds like a plan!" Zeik said, quickening his pace in anticipation, "We'll use a classic pincer to make 'em cross-eyed!"

((You guys just ran so fast, that I hardly keep up the pace))
Karen can't see any familiar faces that could make a good start for her. The Biology class teacher had the first speaking, seems like he had some students in both his good and bad book. While sitting and hearing, she heard:
-Hey, are you new at here?
Turning back, Karen saw a boy, nothing special with him.
-I'm Mac!-He continued-Nice to meet you,
-Nice to meet you, too!-Karen nodded-I'm Karen. Karen Steiner!
-Karen? That's a nice name!-Mac smiled-It seems like your parents must be in the military.
-But,-The girl surprised-How did you know that?
The brown-haired boy answered:
-Just look at to your clothes, sorry if it was too rude with you! I think it was specially designed for the soldiers!
The clothes Karen wearing, a short desert camo jacket with a black tight t-shirt and also a black tight pant with a bandolier wrapping around her waist. For real, when someone met her at the first sight, they could easily mistaken her into a soldier.
-It's my father!-She nodded-He'd designed these clothes for me, with the help from my mother!

Ayame was satisfied with her groups strategy, and wondered how effective it would be, but she had to admit that not knowing the exact nature of the combat exam made it difficult to be certain. She assumed that it was some sort of simulation, but if that was the case she couldn't explain why Jenny had to be present. She shook her head, deciding that it didn't matter. She would find out soon enough.
"So, tell me a little about yourselves,"She said to her new teammates, "Both of your parents are already sort of heroes, and I assume that's had a huge effect on your lives the same way it has mine, am I wrong?"

((OOC: Cripes, I go to sleep for a few hours, and suddenly four entire pages to catch up on. Apologies. I will catch up like ketchup.))
WAKEMAN ACADEMY EXTERIOR
The fight ended, much to Lance's preference. It did look fun to potentially get in a scrap with someone with power- not like the regular humans that he regularly beat in many a sport. These metas may prove to be a challenge... a challenge Lance could win, of course.
Probably...
...
Though all these kids appeared to have more... external superpowers. Lance only had his toughened bones, a strong healing factor, and a great passion for parkour, the art of running. He wasn't sure how he'd stand up to someone who can project the screech of a banshee, or any of those robots with metallic exoskeletons.
The fight had been broken up pretty quickly when the intercom gave a set of orders to the students. Not being one to waste any time, he broke into a sprint straight to the auditorium... wherever it was.
Fortunately, there were signs that pointed him in the right direction.
AUDITORIUM
He was among the first students there, which is unusual to him, since in his old school he was always the first student in the auditorium. He vaulted over several rows before landing perfectly in one empty chair he fancied.
As the other students entered, he took note of the rather large character. From one pocket of his pants, he produced a folded-up piece of paper that he had received after being accepted into the academy.
"Dear Mr. Lawrence Doppler:
We would like to extend our congratulations for your acceptance into the academy stuff blah blah blah (he started skimming through it to find the information he was looking for) Your homeroom teacher is Dr. Gene Wright. After the opening ceremony, you are to find your homeroom teacher-"
Confirming the name of his homeroom teacher, Lance pocketed the paper once more and silently waited for the slowpoke students to get in and for the event to get started.
... He didn't like waiting...
AFTER THE SPEECHES
It was a little difficult to identify Dr. Gene Wright. The man was as unassuming as Lance was. Though he did finally reach his class thanks to the response of a student named Mandy.
"Excuse me," Lance whispered to the short girl who was sitting next to him at the time, "But which one's Dr. Wright?"
The only response Mandy gave was a deeply annoyed glare, followed by pointing at said unassuming man before walking to join the Doctor's group proper.
Lance didn't let that... odd response get under his skin. He simply jogged to join the group.
CLASS ROOM
After a long group trek to the homeroom, (much to Lance's dismay, he was at the back of the rather slow group, and he didn't feel it proper to spend the first day leaping over complete strangers) the good doctor handed out schedules and began taking attendance.
Lance was quick on the draw when his name was called out.

"Well what do you mean by that?" Max said. "I love my father dearly but his status as a hero has little to do with me. I just hope I'll become just like him in that regards."

"Really?" Ayame said, slightly surprised that the children of other heroes were effected so little by their parents' reputations, "It hasn't had any effect on the way people see your, or what they expect from you?"

Zeik groaned at the memory of his over-loving parents.
"Well, their authority in G-Force means that they won't let me on any official missions as soon as I joined, if that's what you're talking about," Zeik said, frustration evident in his tone. "I feel like a goddamn damsel in distress locked away in the castle most of the time."

"That sucks," Skyler said from where she stood, "I mean, you can obviously take care of yourself, so I don't see why they wouldn't let you help."

"Not really." Max said. "But then, I've been homeschooled most of my life. I haven't really been given much expectation to my parent's legacy." Max shuffled a bit. "Besides: what I do, I'll do to the best of my individual ability. And I may even do things differently than my father as well." He continued.
