God-DAMN, I love that theme. The show ain't too bad, either. Didn't know where to put it, so considering it's Korean origins, I'm landing it here in the Anime section.
The world that's established feels like the Megaman universe, with sentient robots doing basically eveything. What I especially like about the series is it's Asimov-esque commentary on whether or not we should build robots with the capacity for emotions, i.e. what if a robot doesn't want to do what it's designed for?
Kinda deep for a kids show, I must say. This is Teen Titans levels of maturity. Granted, it doesn't take center stage like in TTs (I dare you to say TTs out loud, it's immaturely hilarious.), it's much more subtle, and don't expect any of the good guys do to anything wrong or selfish because of this status quo.
Cubix himself is a pretty impressive robot, on par with Jenny and maybe even surpassing her thanks to his Solex power source, which is like nuclear energy but it only effects machine's programming and not organic DNA. Though his upgrade parts certainly put a strain on that Solex power...
The rest of the robots aren't too shabby, either. All of the baddies are tall, unique, and intimidating. All of the other robots each have a neat, bubbly aesthetic that I'm really fond of, especially the rounded dice look of Cubix.

I watched the energy draining shape-shifting vampire robot. The sentient robot have been done already. I need a moment to think what they they have done with that concept that makes them stand out.
