The increasing mortality rate of RPs around here makes me sad. I LOVE RPing, and RPing in this community is something special, or at least it once was. I say that because the humbleness and small size of the community made it easier to keep track of things. I can tell Jessie and Jane apart, I can recognize Alex's traits and weaknesses, and I can tell the difference between Jakob's dry humor and Gene's dry humor. I become a fan of the people I'm playing with and it feels more like a massive crossover between well-established characters that I can take part in. That's so much more special than RPing with a bunch of random people that you have no backstory to. But now...everyone's gone
I'd definitely like to bring some of you guys back to finish off a few incomplete RPs like Soul Crisis and Cartoon Heroes, but the fact of the matter is that we all have lives to keep up with. Champ's struggles with Cartoon Heroes being a prime example. He can't juggle a massive RP like Cartoon Heroes and still keep up with studies, so he prioritizes his studies because that's the responsible thing to do. Would YOU quit your job for an forum RP? So yeah, that's an a$$hole thing to put on you guys.
What's especially difficult for me is RPing in larger communities because you NEVER know what to expect and it's always overwhelming. One of my freinds convinced me to RP in Gaia Online and it was a terrible experience. I'm tempted to start RPing in the TFW2005 boards, but I'm unsure of how that will turn out and the massive amount of people there is intimidating.
This isn't about RPs though, the forum in general was once much more active. People were posting new things each day, but now it looks and feels like Tremorton is becoming a ghost town...
Bottom line, changing times sucks, and I miss all of you guys, even the people I didn't get along with.
