This is the excerpts from Koith's journal via the Reichmacht's database.
"We'd been thriving under the guidance of the United Nations. The world was still naught, but it's better before another world war could bursting out. The Third World is still in need of help from the civilized part of the Earth, and yet we would have been made a good progress to help them making everything they need.
Then the Clusters came. Despite finding a resolution before their own destruction, they overran our meager defenses, enslaved our people, and plundered our world.
Desperate, the authorities ceded a part of their sovereignty to the Skyway Patrol, an organization to fight off the alien droids from the outside of the human civilization. United under a single banner, the bravest soldiers and the greatest heads from all over the world worked together. Making our old weapons into the mighty shield against the Clusters. It seemed our fortune was now standing by our side, and we could staging some operations to repel the invaders. Such hope, was short-lived.
My men had searched ruins to ruins for a long disappeared civilization which their secrets buried deep under thousands feet of sea, in the most dangerous waters of the world. We'd got the artifact, which telling us their owners, the ones who thrived thousands of years ago before the birth of Jesus. A civilization, far more ancient and prosperous than even the Egyptians and the Greeks, with their knowledge was vast and even beyond our latest technologies at the moment.
The rest of the world realized that with such power, they could overwhelm the other civilizations with ease. At the brink they'd thought that they could be the victims of someone far greater than the Persians or the Golden Hordes, they'd decided that they couldn't co-exist with such people. And the decision has made; hundreds of fleets and armies, extinguished, the once greatest race of people which history never to be told. Though not a single ship or warrior returned due to the ultimate payback which sunk them deep down under the sea, but the prophecy of the lost had inscribed, warning their people about that day, and yet they didn't accept their destiny. They had fled, leaving behind their homes and properties sinking down along with the invaders, making an oath for vengeance by any cost when the time is right.
I had warned the recent civilization, but at that time they'd ignored it. The tension between racial conflicts, wars on terror, political changes,...had rotten the mind of the leaders. Even Skyway Patrol was busy dealing with the internal strife instead watching the back of the humanity against the extraterrestrial threats from even more than only the Clusters. They'd refused, and even yanked my men from acting against the possible movement of the lost. Until that day was coming.
Now they're calling themselves the Azernians, returned more powerful and vengeful than we could have ever imagined. Many undefended worlds of the Clusters fell due to the grudges between them even longer and more lasting than humanity, but they had also sent their curse towards us before some proper measures from the Skyway Patrol would be acted in time.
Caught up between the Clusters and the Azernians, we were forced to dig in. Our mighty defenses had been formed to gather as much strength as we could to stand against the long fight, with more and more forces joining the united front, yet we were not the exception. And with the Azernians and the Cluster were stemming their hostilities, a hope for peace was sparkling for a bit.
Now, after years of constant warfare, the united front was breaking down. The humanity is split, between those who would stand still on the trench (Skyway Patrol), and those who would lash out (Einheitsfront der Menschheit; Reichmacht). Political tension has also fractured even the unity of the Azernians. When there's still one eager to destroy us, or one another? Meanwhile, Vexus and her armies has more desperately attacking us with much more voracity though at that age of her. Though strangely, her daughter has seeking out for the same way to the mankind was trying.
Especially, if that warning is true once again."
