Name: Steel-Star/Sebastian Stacks
Bio: Originally a robot from an unknown world, he landed in the backyard of one Dr Prometheus Stacks, a scientist who had recently lost his son Sebastian to a drug overdose. Dr Stacks rebuilt Steel-Star in the image of his son, and created him without the capacity to feel emotion or to succumb to what he called "temptations": i.e., drugs, lust, and so on. But Steel-Star, who was given the transferred consciousness of the scientist's dead son, eventually develops emotions in the same way a child would, and his would-be father rejects him for succumbing to love and for, in lieu lack of a better phrase, being human. He wandered around, depressed and with no sense of identity, never interacting with humans for fear of even more rejection.
After a few years of aimless meandering, SS wanders into Tremorton. He stands by the river looking dejected, and he doesn't know what to do with himself now, when a bus swerves off the road and almost hits the river. Shaken out of his stupor by the sudden crisis, he steps in and saves the bus from certain destruction. One of the people saved, a small boy, says that SS looks like a superhero with his heroic action and his robotic appearance. SS ends up walking into a comic book store and finding out what these "superheroes" are. He becomes inspired by the comics he devours, and becomes Steel-Star: protector of truth, justice, and the American Way! He eventually meets up with Jenny and Company, and they start helping SS to understand his burgeoning emotional development.
Appearance: About 7 feet tall; navy blue outer coat with a grey "SS" on his chest (I didn't notice till it was too late that it could have been mistaken for a Schutzstaffel insignia, so I apologize for that); broad-shouldered, somewhat muscly but not beefy by any means. Very good at discussing scientific concepts but not-so-good at math. A bit of a daydreamer and a wanderer, but not cripplingly so. Enjoys reading books, takes special interest in comics about robots and kaiju.
Abilities: Gravity Manipulation; he can not only levitate and move through the air, as well as lift heavy objects with ease, but can also create wormholes if he concentrates hard enough. Once he meets Jenny and the others, Dr Wakeman begins to fix him up and give him more abilities.
Here's the man himself, drawn by the talented AgaiLazen. If you haven't seen his DA page, I really recommend it. He's got fantastic stuff!
