((OOC:My least creative RP in the recent cycle, and the last part of the Revenge of a Teenage Robot Arc. Takes place in late August, after Zero:Journey's End Aftermath.))
The Cluster Prime night was dark and foreboding, but somehow it called to Vega. The stillness of the night promised release from her problems. And right now, her problems were many. It was not a good time to be the Cluster Queen. Rebel groups denounced her, calling for a return to the old ways. Others criticized how little she had changed, calling for a complete overhaul of the planet. Crime had skyrocketed since the introduction of the Golden Chips. It was only in the calm of the night that Vega could forget all of this. Only in the dark could she ignore the fact that he planet was in chaos.
She stared into the dark night sky, reveling in it's beauty. The stars formed intricate patterns across space, dotting the void with points of light. If hope had a form, it was in the stars.
A flash of light ripped through the night sky, leaving a bright trail behind it. At first Vega ignored it, suspecting that it was just a passing comet. Then another flash followed it, and another shot quickly after that one. Soon the sky was filled with streaks of blazing white light, and the sound of impacts echoed from the distance. Vega didn't know what was happening, but she knew one thing. Something was wrong. She turned on her headset phone, immediately connecting with her defense minister.
"I need troops..." She started.
"Already on the way," The minister stated calmly, "I sent Major Xeno's team to investigate."
Vega was not calmed by this, instead she immediately established a connection with the soldier in question.
"Major Xeno, report," She barked.
"Aye, miss," The Major replied, "We've only just left."
Vega frowned.
"Report in as soon as the situation is clear," She said.
"Aye, miss," The Major repeated.
For several minutes time stood still. Silence filled the air. It was almost as if the whole world was holding it's breath.
Suddenly Vega's communications burst to life.
"Miss...trouble," Xeno shouted, his signal cutting in and out.
"What's the problem!?" Vega shouted, starting to pace.
"Pods...silver robots exited....slaughtering men...it's an attack...an.." Xeno continued, but his communication was suddenly cut short.
From the palace Vega watched as a red flash filled the sky. Her heart froze. The situation was still confusing, but one thing was perfectly clear. Cluster Prime was under attack.

A month had passed since Jenny's battle with Mogg. A month had passed, and still there were no answers. Skyway Patrol had taken the scientist into custody, but he refused to tell them anything. In the last month, Mogg had not spoken once. The trail had gone cold. Jenny was spent.
She sat in the hollow shell of her former home, and reflected on how hollow her life felt. She had never thought about how she would live without Dr.Wakeman. She may have argued with her, but she still relied in her mother for guidance. For purpose. Now she felt like she had none.
Sirens filled the air. Before she could even see the lights Jenny was ready. No matter what happened to the Doctor, the city still needed her. She took off, scanning the police channels to find out the situation. A hostage situation in an upscale Hotel downtown. She smiled. A good old fashioned crook fight would be a good way to let off some stress.
She arrived at the scene, skidding to a halt in front of the circling cop cars. As soon as she landed another hero stepped through the line of police, his perfect black katana resting on his shoulder.
"Good to see you're with us," Champ Mars said, grinning, "So, should we negotiate with these guys, or just do things the old fashioned way?"
