[Hope no one minds that I'm writing for Vexus in this post. I tried to keep it consistent with her characterization from previous RPs while not disrupting the current plot.]
Gene put his phone away and went back to the drones. "As I was saying, don't be like this. Just give me a chance to talk to her. Two minutes. That's all I ask."
The lead drone grimaced. "No!" He handed back Gene's ID card. "Now get off this ship before I have you forced off, human!"
Gene rubbed his forehead. "I didn't want to have to do this." He floated several inches above the ground and his eyes glowed with power. The other drones pointed their weapons at him again in response. "Truth is, I'm a bit more than human these days. So you're not gonna force me to do anything. And while I have nothing against you guys, I will end you if you don't let me speak with Her Majesty."
The silent standoff lasted a few seconds, then one of the drones spoke up. "Y'know, sir, if nothing else we probably should call in the fact that there's an intruder on board."
"Oh, all right, fine," the lead drone said. "But keep your guns on him. I don't want any funny stuff." He walked over to a wall, pulled out a panel with a monitor, and plugged a wire from his body into a port near the bottom.
The monitor flickered to life with a none-too-pleased Vexus on the other end. "What do you want?" she asked. "I'm kind of in the middle of something."
"I know, ma'am," the drone said with a nod, "but my unit found an intruder on Deck 5. A human... with an Organic Citizen Card. It says he's one of your personal assistants."
"Gene Wright?" Vexus prompted, a bit of worry in her voice.
"You do know him?" the drone asked. "Good. Anyway, he says he needs to talk to you, and -"
"And the feeling isn't mutual," Vexus said. "Have Mr. Wright escorted from the ship."
"Please, Your Majesty!" Gene piped up. "This is important!"
"You shouldn't have involved yourself in this, Gene!" Vexus replied. "This is a military matter!"
"But it doesn't have to be," Gene said. "You don't have to do this!"
"And what would you have me do instead? Send a sharply-worded letter? This wasn't a mistake or an accident or a misunderstanding. This was an act of war ordered by a sovereign government. There is only one proper response to such an act. These humans asked for this fight, and I'm merely giving them what they want!"
"That's just it," Gene said. "It wasn't the 'humans' that asked for this fight. It was just the Americans -- just the U.S. government. And I know a guy who has their leader, right now, gift-wrapped and ready for you to do... whatever you want. Just call off the attack and he's yours."
"And I suppose he executed Operation Hornet all by his lonesome? Because I distinctly remember several other people shooting at me. No, Gene, this lesson must be impressed upon their entire chain of command, from the highest general to the lowest private. It must be written in the blood of their dead upon the rubble of their cities: the Imperial Commonwealth of the Cluster is not to be trifled with!"
"And when this invasion gets stopped like every single one before it, what then?" Gene asked. "What lesson will they take from that?"
"That's the beauty of it, Gene: I don't even need this invasion to succeed. I just need the cost of repelling it to be too great for them to forget. You humans tell stories of a king, Pyrrhus of Epirus, who was trapped by similar circumstances."
"So what is this, a suicide mission for your fleet?"
"Strictly speaking? No. But they know the risks of this mission, and they have accepted them."
Gene shook his head. "Whatever. You really want to have it out with the humans, fine. You really don't care how many people... how many robots... how many whatevers die, great. Have fun. I couldn't care less. I'll be back at the safe house, telling the intel drones how their queen is as irrational as any Earthling. And when this is all over, and you're ready to start acting like a goddamn grown-up again, I'll be there to help you patch things up with the survivors. Good day, Your... Alleged... Majesty." He turned to the drones. "I'll see myself out." He started retracing his steps back to the docking bay.

"Actually, forget I asked," Jakob said as he gripped on the back of the President's neck and pulled the human up to his feet. To get the shivering man to walk, Jakob pulled his pistol back out and propped the muzzle against the back of the man's head.
"Move," Jakob ordered coldly.
As they walked away from the Wakeman Manor, Jakob got back on the channel. "Dr. Wright, I can't blink at the moment. Have you located Vexus? The front of the Wakeman Mansion is not an ideal piece of cover against gunships, so I'm making my way to my home."
The AI sent Jakob a long-range signal- which would've made it's way to Gene's phone as well.
//MULTIPLE NUCLEAR SILOS HAVE BEEN DISARMED OR RENDERED NON-FUNCTIONAL. I AM PREVENTING ANY AND ALL CASUALTIES AS I DO SO. ALL KNOWN NUCLEAR SILOS IN THE UNITED STATES WILL BE HARMLESSLY DECOMMISSIONED IN FIFTEEN MINUTES... //BUT EVERY OTHER FUNCTIONING NATION IS SUDDENLY ON THE AMERICAN'S SIDE.
"What? How?" Jakob asked. "What changed their mind?"
//BEST THEORY IS THAT THEY DECIDED TO SIMULTANEOUSLY ACCEPT THAT THE UNITED STATES COMMITTED A SERIOUS ERROR, THEN AGREED TO DEAL WITH THE U.S.A. ONCE THE CLUSTER INVASION IS DEALT WITH... FRANKLY, THAT'S THE BEST I'VE GOT.
Jakob didn't respond. He simply pushed the President more and more towards his bunker- which was many blocks away- farther away from downtown Tremorton.

For the last time, the drones overwhelmed the line, Grinder and his men being routed, but not so easy as the plasma from behind, from the ground and above just burned their asses. While lying on the ground, Delta captain saw a spider-like walker climbing to the top of the barricades while the other pierced through the defense made by heaps of wrecked cars and junk. Spotting Grinder, they said at the monotone:
"TARGET SIGHTED!!!"
"ENGAGING!!!"
One of them fired, got into Grinder's leg but not yet being killed. That droid used its legs to attack. Using anything left to block the steel limb, Delta captain pierced through the hull by his combat knife and punched it stumble away. But, another walker attacked, and now Grinder got nothing left to fight. Before the final blow from the mech, a shot from behind cut down its leg. "UNDER FIRE!!!", that one yelled, then "CONTACTS!!!" while turning back. BANG!!! Another shot fired, killing it in a nanosecond. Seeing to the one who saved him, Grinder saw Koith with a Barrett M206, unloading some anti-matter shells down to the road:
-He, he,-The blue soldier smirked-Heard you boys yelling for help! We came here as fast as we could.
At the time, Marie come next to the junk on Grinder with some words:
-Ain't no time to be lying down on the job, Captain!
Then, she pushed that metallic corpse away from Grinder easily, its fuel leaked out from the cracked head pierced by Koith's shot.
-You magnificent son of a gun!-Grinder smirked in a bliss that his ass finally saved-You're the only man I expected to see,
Standing on the rampart, Marie said with a bit worrying:
-Guys, I hate to interrupt, but. They're making again restless!
Seeing the small rubbles on the pave rumbles, Koith and Grinder expected a large force of Clusters are storming in.
-Thanks for the rescue, Commander!-Grinder said-But I hoping just ain't two of you,
-Huh, Grinder!-Koith smirks-You'd always known why I always win the card games?
Then, above their heads, a squadron of F-40 Predators flashed through, throwing their cluster bombs toward the hostiles, killing them in a matter of time. From behind, choppers armed with rocket launchers, miniguns, tanks and APCs filled with troopers coming in. The wounded and survivors of the defense being taken care and evacuated by the medics. Giving a little salutation with the reinforcements, Grinder said:
-You might be a damm rogue, Commander! But what it happened, you saved our boys today, and they won't forget it!
-I'm now seeing the change of tide here, Captain!-Koith replied after a nod.

Plink flew above and behind a set of Cluster droids after defeating the last ones.
"Hey! Know what a Cluster bomb is?" Plink said in an almost casual manner. The Cluster droids turned around and looked at Plink in a dazed fashion. "What?" One droid said almost irritatedly. Plink grabbed a small sticky grenade and threw it at that in particular droid. "That's what you are going to be in 5.6 seconds!" Plink said mischeivously before pointing out the tail end of a cluster ship ahead. "Asta La Vista Compadré!" Plink said as he flew of the other direction...leaving the cluster droid to fly into the ship and blow up a few seconds later.

((OOC: guys...you reply so fast. I dunno if I can keep up like this. Plus if in this forum's time is am, it's pm at my place. At least take turns of who reply next ))
"Y-yes! I have a gun!" she took out her gun from her waist
In Wakeman's house, Dr Falcon has no fear expression at Jakob. When Jakob about to leave, Dr Falcon recognised the other man as the President. Feels curious to know, he jumped out from window and just landed safely from upper floor. Of what he saw, it's like Jakob have a 'hostage'. "Wait just a moment,"he chased Jakob after the jump from window, "Can I know what is actually going on? Is he the President?"

Plink logged into Koith's communication channel. "Hello Koith. Thought I should let you know that I am incoming into the battlefield. I...would suggest taking three steps to the right...unless you want to have a few hundred pound metal object flatten you" Plink said.

"Negative on finding Vexus," Gene said into his phone. "I know she's on the bridge of this ship. I just don't know where the bridge is." He looked around. "Or where I am. How the heck did I get lost?" He continued flying through the ship, now looking for a map to lead him to the exits. "And it doesn't matter anyway. I talked to her. She doesn't want to deal, even with the enemy commander, even for the enemy commander. We may just have to ride this thing out." He turned a corner into the ship's engineering department. "It's like... you ever watch hockey? When two guys get into a fight, the refs just stand back and let them get it out of their system before sending them both to the box. It's like that. Only with a lot more dead people."
Gene finally found a schematic of the ship on an unmanned console. So many guys away from their post. Let it not be said that the Cluster is a bastion of professionalism. "Okay, hang on. I came in here... met the drones here... and now I'm here. So if I want to get out, I have to go..." His eye glanced up at the icon of the bridge on the schematic. "You know what? I'm gonna take a detour first. If you want to talk to Vexus yourself, you'll have your chance. ETA... whenever."
Gene mapped out the path in his mind, then dashed through the ship's corridors at top speed to get up to the bridge. When he arrived, he slipped behind a pipe to hide and catch his breath. "All right. I'm just outside the bridge. When you're ready, you can 'blink' to my location and go on in." He finally checked the text message left by the mech's AI. "By the way, just saw your text. So everyone's getting on the action now? Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Vexus is doing a better job of uniting this planet than any human leader?"

Jakob gave the young-looking doctor a weird look. He then nudged his synthetic head to the looming battle fleet attacking Tremorton.
"What in the world do you think, kid?" He sarcastically asked, "The whole planet's gone straight to hell, and I'm being constantly left hanging in the wind by incompetence. And yes, this is the President! Did you want an autograph?!"
"Negative on finding Vexus," Gene replied, "I know she's on the bridge of this ship. I just don't know where the bridge is... ... Or where I am. How the heck did I get lost? ... ... ... And it doesn't matter anyway. I talked to her. She doesn't want to deal, even with the enemy commander, even for the enemy commander. We may just have to ride this thing out... ... It's like... you ever watch hockey? When two guys get into a fight, the refs just stand back and let them get it out of their system before sending them both to the box. It's like that. Only with a lot more dead people."
Jakob's mouth flattened in clear irritation.
"You know what? I'm gonna take a detour first. If you want to talk to Vexus yourself, you'll have your chance. ETA... whenever." Gene Wright reported.
Jakob immediately called the mech. Report back to my position. We're visiting a Queen Bee, and I don't think she'd be happy to see me.
//UNDERSTOOD. MULTIPLE SILOS ARE OUT OF COMMISSION.
"All right. I'm just outside the bridge. When you're ready, you can 'blink' to my location and go on in."
The mech appeared almost immediately. The armour plating looked scorched, but was otherwise undamaged.
//DOCTOR GENE WRIGHT'S BIOSIGNS ARE LOCKED. WE ARE READY TO BLINK.
"By the way, just saw your text. So everyone's getting on the action now? Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Vexus is doing a better job of uniting this planet than any human leader?"
"Unfortunately, yes," Jakob replied to Gene as he hoisted the President into the mech before following suit. Before the cockpit closed, he turned to the young man with the lab coat.
"Now before I leave to hopefully save as many lives as I can, what did you need?" He asked.

Hearing the situation, Dr Falcon replied, "I may can help you. I might just-" before he finished talked, a purple long sleeve shirt meta with angel wings landed behind him. It was Crystal.
"Hey, doc. Got any more chips?" she asked
He turned to Crystal, "I thought you with Rosie and the pixies"
"It's a long story. Right now the pixies with her to help Koith and I gonna need some chips to defend the city and rescue citizens"
"Ah I understand, " Dr Falcon gave her some chips, "I just made a light element chip. It can make you created barriers"
Crystal took out her large brush-looking weapon and installed the chip into it, she swing it like she was 'drawing'. She created a barrier around her, "Sweet! Thanks a lot, Fay. hm? Why are you here? I thought you gonna help Dr Wakeman. Both you and her are collegues, after all"
"Oh. I know how she done her job. She looks likely want to do her things by herself, for now," he smiled, "Don't mind me. I'll start to navigate shortly"
"Okie dokie, Fay. Take care," Crystal took off to air after waving goodbye to him and he did the same. After that, he turned to Jakob, "As I was saying..I can help you. And of course, 'taking care' of the President"

Hearing what Plink said, Koith immediately evaded to the place that guy recommended. CRASH! That was close, as it also shocked the nearby troopers.
-Thanks for your help, kamerad! At least I'm not being flatten like a record.
At the same time, Grinder now receiving his medical attention inside a medic camp established inside some buildings. Luckily, his leg can be treated, but not stressing it too much until a full recovery. Patients lying all over the place, groans, moans, mutters, filled any ears of someone who step inside.

c((((NOOOOO! The post I labored SO hard and SO long on... DESTROYED BY A CRASHED BROWSER!! All that work for NAUGHT! Pfft, computers... What good are they for, anyway? Oh well, here's a lesser quality version of what should have been...))))
Bullet continued to fight wave after wave of Cluster drones alongside Viktor and Plink. All the while, he was lost in thought contemplating his current scenario. Everything about this just feels so much bigger than me. Why did I happen to get roped into this? I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and fate seemed to pull me in. I guess it just works that way with these things. He chuckled to himself. Even still, it's all so strange. Untill recently, I've never actually thought like this. Is this some secret advanced process installed by Professor N that she never told me about? Perhaps this all-too-familiar Viktor is more than meets the eye.*
Bullet was shocked out of this thought by a jolt of plasma to the arm. Yikes, If I could feel, I bet this would hurt! I can't let my mind wander, I gotta stay focused.
With several deft movements and a few well-timed shots Bullet took out a cloud of drones. Not stopping to watch them crumble to the ground Bullet continued chiseling away at the enemy horde. All the time he kept an eye out for Viktor, who seemed strangely adept at aerial combat for a first-timer. Yes.. more than meets the eye.
Bullet continued to hack away at wave after wave of perpetual swarms of Cluster drones that never seemed to lighten a bit. After a while, Bullet activated his comm and sent a signal to Plink.
-"Hey Plink, it's Bullet."- Bullet greeted over the line. -"These drones just never seem to end! Think we should start going for the ships instead? Or should we continue waiting for a possible ceasefire for negotiations."- He paused to look around him at the carnage in the city below. -"But I think we're past the point of negotiations!"-
*Darn it, the original was so much more eloquently executed! It was actually gonna be one of my best and most poetic motifs BUT IT DIEED!

"Eh no problemo!" Plink said as he spontaneously kicked a cluster droid in the eye.

"I'll agree with your last remark. Attacking the ships now." Plink said as he flew to one of the airships. Plink flew torwards the master ship. "LEEEERRRRRROOOOOYYYYYYYYY JJJJEEEEEEENNNNKKKKKKIIIIIINNNNNSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!" Plink shouted humorously refering to a meme. Immediately after landing in the dock, Plink started fighting Cluster droids. "Heerrreeee'ss Johnny!!!" He said with a slight maniacal laugh.

(OOC: I had a good "bad" feeling as soon as I saw your update in Plink's page before this. ) "I'll agree with your last remark. Attacking the ships now." Plink replied. Bullet then saw him suddenly rocket off towards the master ship. Then a familiar war cry roared through Bullet's comm, causing distortion in the signal. "LEEEERRRRRROOOOOYYYYYYYYY JJJJEEEEEEENNNNKKKKKKIIIIIINNNNNSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!" Aftew moments later: "Heerrreeee'ss Johnny!!!" He said with a slight maniacal laugh. Oh, good ol' Plink. You never cease to amaze or inspire admiration in me. Although I do think we should wait for possible negotiations, we can't take this forever.Bullet too rocketed off towards a nearby small dropship full of Cluster drones. His arm became a large blaster "mini"gun. "This is Sasha." Bullet introduced his weapon, flawlessly imitating a thick Russian accent. "It costs $14,380 to fire this weapon for fourteen seconds, let's hope loser pays!" Fortunately, it only took thirteen seconds for Sasha to turn the ship into a heap of twisted metal hurdling to the ground. "Look out below!" He tossed a grenade at the artificial meteor, and in just a few more seconds it was blasted into many bite-sized bits like one might find betwixt their cornflakes in a bowl of Cluster-Ohs! Part of this delicious, nutricious breakfast.

"Look out below!" Bullet said.
"Sanviches won't save them now." Plink muttered to himself. Plink immediately started walking down corridors. "Okay...let's see...we want the engine room...which is about ten halls away, two levels down, and over 9000 feet over there.....hurrhurr...over 9000...ha. okay...focus...Once i get there, I can simply blast the cooling mechanism...giving me (and any self respecting clusterheadache) a few minutes to get out before this place goes kamakazi!!!" Plink said to himself as he looked at a nearby map.

At the time, news reporters are showing their faces on the battlefield, of course hiding somewhere since the Clusters have no rules with these people. From their cameras, the carnage of a raging battlefield showed into every scenes on Earth. Destroyed buildings, rubbles, vehicles, bodies from both Clusters, US and its allies lying every corners of the city. The soldiers taking cover behind sects of walls, some weeping and shivering in despair. Smokes rise high, the fires raging in some places of Tremorton. This place is not a major city and not so popular in the World's eyes. But now, it reflected a face of cruelty of war and became a big hit in every channels all over the World, in many languages. Of course, Koith's words during the debate with Vexus being quoted and recorded, many people of the Earth was touched to deep of their hearts with this imperishable loyalty and valor. But, some countries who roared the crimes of the US, also censoring mercilessly to the information if they want to be broadcasted or printed. In the other places and evacuation camps on US territory, the people protested in order to demand a reform of the government, some places gave the souls of the dead chanting songs, raising Koith and his men to be heroes of the US, who stood against both the Clusters and the rotten old Government who led to this war.
At this time of quiet momentum, Koith also taken part in bodies collecting, or just only dog tags left. The sky was darken and rained heavily. Oil, blood from humans, metas and Cluster droids mended together into a dark-colored liquid, sticky and yet slightly flammable. There were too many lives lost in this battle, in every feet, there's a soldier who fallen for the brighter future of US. Stars-and-stripes still flying on the sky, but wet and tattered, being hanged on the broken lamp-posts. "How miserable," Koith commented.
