Jakob's motion tracker had pinged the presence of the newer robot long before the metallic clang was even emitted. Regardless, he turned to the source of the sound to better identify who the robot was.
Short metal hair, relative thinness, antennae on top. Jakob immediately identified the teenage-designed robot, but he didn't know the name. He almost identified the kid as the XJ-9 unit, but the lack of rocket pigtails was rather obvious.
Bullet and his human friend approached to assist the newer robot, so Jakob turned to focus his attention- and built-in directional microphone- on the marines so he could catch whatever in the world they were discussing with the immediate members of the absurdly large crowd. He'd need whatever was necessary before he asks a certain doctor-turned-political representative what exactly happened and why.

"And you are?" The robot, who referred to himself as Bullet, said to John as he offered John his hand. John hesitantly stared at the hand before grabbing it and saying, "J-John Percy Welton. Robot Serial JP12. Some people call me 'The Plink' or just 'Plink'" John stood up and brushed himself of a bit before speaking some more. "What's all the hullabaloo here? Sorry to ask but I...uh...have been living under a rock...metaphorically speaking."

The blue robot stared at Bullet's hand for a moment, then grabbed it and introduced himself. "J-John Percy Welton. Robot Serial JP12. Some people call me 'The Plink' or just 'Plink'"
John stood up and brushed himself of a bit before speaking some more. "What's all the hullabaloo here? Sorry to ask but I...uh...have been living under a rock...metaphorically speaking."
"Nice to meet you, John Percy "The Plink" Welton." Bullet replied. "Say, I like that... Plink." Bullet paused to roll that over his metaphorical tongue. "And I like your use of the word hullabaloo, not enough people say that anymore. I think we're gonna get along groovy."
Bullet turned to look back at the crowd. "Speaking of hullabaloo, I'm stil not quite sure what's going on here. I've only been here a few weeks. I met an android called Koith who was about to go on some sort of mission to the cluster. I offered to go, but he gave me the slip."
Bullet spotted a rusty can lying on the ground and kicked it high into the air, it landed right in a garbage can over twenty feet away. "I heard that the mission fell apart, ending high casualties and a in retreat. Koith didn't return. I don't know much else."
Bullet paused again, calculating everything that happened recently, then continued. "There's something very strange about the whole shebang. As far as I've known, Earth was trying to get along with Cluster Prime. I mean, I don't like them more than the other guy, but where and why did this Operation Hornet come into fruition?"

John looked at Bullet in equal confusion. He hadn't heard of operation Hornet but he had heard of the Cluster Prime.
"I wouldn't know." John said before pacing around a bit.

Being panic bring nothing back. The truth is the truth, Koith was gone, Marie can't do anything to deny it. But, how could her boy died so easily. Marie remembers in the pasts, Koith is a die-hard. Even suffering fatally wounds, he's still made it and lived strong. She wonders if her boy live and maybe in hiding at some place in Cluster Prime...
Meanwhile, at Cluster's bar, droids are discussing about the recent attack. Sitting at the counter, the guy who sent the package to a person named Gene Wright just sitting in silence, drinking his glass of oil like nothing happened recently. From the outside, a trooper droid step in. Sitting next to the guy with a trenchcoat, he shows a pistol and says:
-Hey, check it out! I'd just brought one of the antiques from the dead Earthlings.
The curious ones get near into him and watch the gun. They'd never see such weapons like that before. That trooper continues:
-Trust me, you guys will see much more of this next time,
-How do you know that?-One droid asks.
-My brother in the line said that,-That trooper replies-The Queen is now discussing about the retaliation to the Earth, forcing U...ET...Uh, U...Z...! Damm, I don't remember what's the hell of their name, but they're responsible for these insolent actions.
The black coat person emptied his glass, paying the bill and quickly left the bar in haste. At the corner of the alley, after tearing down the security camera, that guy turns on his comm-link and making some signals...

After a few more delays -- the traffic in that part of town was worse than he'd expected -- Gene pulled in to the airport parking garage and got out of his car, carrying his package to the airfield where people had gathered around the survivors of Operation Hornet. In the crowd he spied Jakob, a dead ringer for XJ-9, and a robot and human that Gene could swear he'd seen before, though he couldn't remember their names.
Gene inched his way through the teeming mass of reporters and gawkers as discreetly as possible while he pulled out one of the dog tags from the package and his Cluster ID card. When he reached the front of the pile, he called out to one of the soldiers on the scene. "Sir? Sir! Excuse me, sir," Gene said, waving his ID. "I'm here on behalf of the people who, uh, kicked your ass. I have something you guys might want." He held up the dog tag. "My boss sent me a bunch of these, which I assume are meant to confirm your KIAs and give you some closure after your little stunt. But if you want the rest, I'm gonna need to talk to whoever's in charge around here. You think you can do that?"

John saw the new human pull up in the car and stopped pacing in thought. When the human pushed through the crowd to talk to the marines. John immediately levitated up: a bit quickly this time so as to watch what was happening. "What is that guy doing?" John thought to himself as he tried to zoom in on the guy only to find him holding up a pair of dog tags.

Ah, right to the point. This is why Jakob liked Gene Wright. Though the doctor's bluntness may not sit well with most of the civilians around, this would definitely get the ball rolling. He had to admit: he would definitely like to speak to whoever Gene wanted to speak to- or at least hear whatever answers the doctor would get from whoever he wanted to speak to.
Regardless of his own curiosity, the android decided to keep his distance, in the event that things really got sour. Some plates shifted to show what appeared to be a rather short scattergun, which he made sure were loaded with stun shells.
//ULTIMA'S READY FOR LAUNCH.
"Good stuff," Jakob said as he made minor adjustments to his directional microphone.

Seeing Gene waving the tag, one marine surprised:
-Wait a sec,
He then taking that thing and check. Grinder, Marie and the rest marines come closer to see. It's the tag of the fallen soldiers. Gene asking for the one who's in charge, so Delta captain got an answer:
-If you want who's in charge for the whole Operation, don't ask we soldiers! If you want someone for the escort, I am! Or else, the Field Commander was on his one-way trip and now didn't return.
-But hey,-One marine interrupted-I heard that guy said Vexus sent these tags. How could a hostile sending these to the enemies?
-Hey, Dave!-One survivor heads into his comrade-I'd seen you sticked your ass with Commander since the Cluster. You got something about him?
The marine called Dave replies:
-Yeah! He arsed all of Royal related information while restraining Vexus, saying that could work for later! Hell, I didn't know why he did that cause the later never happened.
-Well, that's enough, boys!-Grinder says-But first, you need to get your asses back to the base. It's not a good place to say such classified at all!
-Uh, ok!-The marines agreed, then get into the humvees with the support from Skyway and Delta. At the while, Marie asks Gene:
-Sorry about this, but we can't stay here and let the things go publicly! But, could you tell me about how could these tags being sent? I don't think your Queen could do these acts.

"Oh gosh the language." John says as he hovers back a bit: realizing that he was straying too far into the crowd. "If I don't watch myself, I'll probably be spotted...I do not want that." With an almost wobbly air, John floats back to the edge of the crowd and lands. "Strange." John said to Bullet. "Very strange. If anything, I'm even more confused now than before."

Vexas, a hostile? That couldn't be true, that would soil the good relations between herself and Gene. Even the android who didn't pay too much attention to personal lives knew that much. Nothing was adding up to his current intel, and the AI also knew it.
//PERHAPS WE SHOULD PAY THE CLUSTER A VISIT.
"Interesting notion, but I'm not a Cluster robot..." Jakob said.
//BUT YOU ARE A ROBOT. YOU WOULD BE WELCOME.
"So was that Koith character," Jakob replied as he stepped away from the crowd and began to jog back to the bunker, "But you're right. Prepare Ultima for long-ranged Blink. I'll be there in ten."
At that, he broke into a sprint. The android needed new intel on the Cluster, and he couldn't be sure if he could rely on the brains of the physically damaged human soldiers.

John watched the other strange AI dart away. "Do we follow him?" John asked Bullet.

(( I thought it was a prequel. this was before Jenny due to Dr. Wakeman is taking part in the battle. I thought the XJ coming to be out soon was foreshadow of Armagetdroid.))
