"I appreciate the offer, but Ultima isn't quite ready to take passengers safely," Jakob said as the mech stepped back. The blue orb of light appeared from thin air once more. "With that, I'll be off."
The other AI, again, vanished into the orb. "He just teleports out." John said. "Hmm. Assuming I could generate a focused gravitational density to form a wormhole between two distinct points, i may be able to achieve a similar method of teleportation. The problem is, I have to be able to calculate the vector in which the Cluster could be located...not to mention the materials and so required to build a device capable of transporting matter from one place to another without causing any damage." John paced around for a second. "There is option two...in which i try flying there. But the alotted amount of lightyears it'll take is beyond the amount even I would want to be gone." He said to viktor. "You don't happen to have anything up your sleeve...do you?"

"You'd be surprised what you can live without," Gene said. He put the tags back in the box. "And I guess I'm holding on to the rest of these -- for now. Just make sure someone up the chain of command knows I have them, all right? Whenever they want these things back, they can talk to me. The name's Gene Wright, and I'm not a hard man to find. I'm registered as a foreign lobbyist, and I've been bothering this country's politicians enough that I probably have an FBI file with all my contact information too."
He stepped back into the now-thinning crowd, noticing that Bullet was a lot closer now than he was before. I know I've seen that 'bot before. Geez, this is gonna bug me all day.

(OOC: Yikes, wow sorry. That turned out a LOT longer than I meant, just bear with it, I'm getting closer to the big reveal... that I hopefully didn't just give away...)
"I appreciate the offer, but Ultima isn't quite ready to take passengers safely," Jakob said as the mech stepped back. The blue orb of light appeared from thin air once more. "With that, I'll be off."
The mech, and Jakob with it, vanished into the orb.
Viktor thought for a moment, scratching the peach-fuzz on his chin. "Well, I do have one... but it involves two 2045 Honda XR-S's, one ton of spearmint chewing gum, a boxing glove, 500 gallons of rocket fuel, two rods of stable Ununoctium, and five zebras. With those, plus a TI-150++ calculator, I can possibly create a rip in the sub-trigonometic time-space matrix, causing a hyper-flux of twelf-dimensional gravity causing reality to explode and impolde simultaneously several trillion times per second, thus synthesizing a quantum "slingshot" that should propel us to Cluster Prime in approximately -0.01^-18 seconds, that is, if we survive the first one-millionth-nanosecond of the process. In plain english, I don't have any ideas. I'll call Bullet and tell him the plan was a bust."
Viktor pulled out his ancient "smartphone" and dialed Bullet's comm-code.
***** "You'd be surprised what you can live without," Gene said.
Gene then turned to go out back in the crowd in Bullet's general direction. Bullet noticed Gene look at him with a strange look his face as if he recognized Bullet.
This Cluster Ambassador, Gene Wright, he seems like he's in on the in-crowd, likely some one to take note of. Why is he looking at me like that? Could he- no, how could that be even possible he could remember? I was only on the news for about a day, and wasn't even a headline. How could he remember if he'd seen my face in the news that week after C-day? It's probably nothing. Then again, human minds to have a certain strange efficency when it comes to random things...
Bullet just stood for a moment. Perhaps I should approach him? Would that be too conspicuous? Who cares?
He was about to take a step forward when Viktor's phone came on to his protected communtication line.
-Hey Bullet.- Viktor said over the phone. -Jakob just pulled a Houdini to Cluster Prime with some sort of mech, I don't believe I need to add he didn't take us with.-
Okay, Jakob's out for now. Maybe it will be worth it to trust this Gene. "Okay, Viktor. You and Plink get back over here, I hope I've found someone who CAN help us, or get me into a bunch of trouble. I gotta go, I can't lose him."
Bullet cut communication with Viktor and maneuvered, casually but quickly over to Gene and approached the ambassador.
"Excuse me, Gene Wright, I presume?" He said, extending a friendly hand. "I am Bullet. I'm new here, but I'm already aquainted with Jakob, the MIA Koith, and the other vigilantes of Tremorton. I don't know too much about what's going on, but my friends and I are willing to help out any way we can."
*** Meanwhile, Viktor hung up his phone dejectely.
Not endagering just you, my oldest friend, but both of us.
In his jacket pocket, Viktor's fingers felt a tiny disc-like mechanism. If only...
He returned to Plink, taking on a brighter tone. "Bullet wants us to get back to the field, he's found someone who can get us in on the fun."

"Brilliant." John said semi-sarcastically before t urning around to look at the area. It wasn't long though before Viktor suddenly turned to him and said, "Bullet wants us to get back to the field, he's found someone who can get us in on the fun."
"Ah! Good." John said before darting up five feet into the air. "I'll see you there." Immediately, John flew back to Bullet's area.

"Thanks," Gene said to Bullet, "but I don't think there's anything you or anyone else can do to help. As soon as that ship landed on Cluster Prime, we were all condemned to our fates. Vexus will attack this world, as she must. You and your friends will defend it, as you must. And countless innocents will suffer and die, as they must. All I'm trying to do is understand why it had to happen this way, to make sense of the senseless."
Gene sighed. "Wow, sorry. That was depressing." He shook Bullet's hand. "I know you're just trying to be nice. But as you can imagine, these past few days have been... rough. Anyway, thanks for the offer, and if I think of anything you can do for me, I'll let you know." He started to walk off, then turned back toward Bullet. "Hey, um, this is gonna sound stupid, but have we met? Maybe you took some classes at San Andreas State or something? 'Cause I can't shake this feeling that -- never mind. Like I said, it's stupid."

Within minutes, John was back at the airport and landed at the edge of the crowd to nearly bump into the one man, known as Gene. "Sorry sir." John said politely before pushing his way through the crowd to get to bullet.

Jakob disconnected the helmet from the mech suit, so he could hide his human-looking face and keep his profile strictly robotic. After that, he climbed out and jumped off of the mech suit. The second AI remained in the mech suit with full control.
For miles around them, piles of scrap reached rather mountainous heights. In the distance, between two spires of junk, Jakob spotted a spire of not junk, but well-forged metal.
The tallest building of the capital city- which even the android knew was familiar due to the tourism ads he had seen prior to this... ordeal.
If the android understood how a robot-only utopia would function correctly, then this environment appeared to be the dead center of a huge recycling yard.
"Keep those weapons off," Jakob said to the AI in the mech, "Remember, we only needed Ultima to get here."
//UNDERSTOOD... THOUGH WHAT ARE WE HERE FOR?
"Need to get the Cluster's side of the story, find some POWs or MIAs and question them as well."
//ALSO UNDERSTOOD. I WILL SCAN FOR HUMAN BIOSIGNS.
"Scan for things of human origin as well. Weapons, human-made synthetics... Concentrate on prison areas or places that would make good hiding places for humans."
Jakob grabbed onto one of the legs of the mech as the larger vehicle traversed the scrap piles with little effort.
//SCAN WILL TAKE A WHILE. CLUSTER PRIME'S A LARGE PLANET, AND IT'S NOT THE ONLY PLANET UNDER CONTROL OF ROBOTS.
"We should speak with the Queen- or whoever's the leader in the Cluster military."
//LAST HEARD WAS THAT A DAUGHTER OF VEXAS RAN THE CLUSTER NOW- ONE VEGA.
"Reduce priority on the human scan. We can be certain that this Vega isn't MIA, and would be easier to find."

At the stream of people in Cluster, Koith's blending with them. He's a robot, and he won't be recognize easily as the ones who attacked Cluster recently. From afar, he'd seen trooper droids are discussing something. Lurking near into them, the soldier waits patiently, using his hypersensitive senses to eavesdrop the conversation.
-Man, Queen must be very furious about the Earthlings attack!
-You bet! I'd seen her got mad about their acts.
-Hey, have you heard that? She's calling the Fleet now. In the next days, Earth will be paid for its crime!
Hearing enough, Koith blends into the crowd and quickly disappeared again. Head into another alley, he uses his comm-link, making some Enigma code with a message:
"If anyone got this message, you're from the Earth! The Cluster are now launching assault to our Homeland. Be prepared for the worst!"
...
At the time, after finished talking with Gene, Marie talks over her comm-link:
-Command, this is Yellow Lily! I got that Gene Wright, Vexus's spokesperson got the tags from our fallen men in Operation Hornet!
-You got back the tags?-The line asked.
-Negative, sir!-Marie replied-He said he need to meet the ones in charge of Hornet, not the representatives.
-Thanks for the report, Yellow Lily! We'll meet him later. Does he get Blue Metal's tag?
-Negative, Command!-Marie answers-But I'll find out soon!
-Very well, good luck!
Then, the report ended. At the time, the girl got another transmission:
-Hey, sister-in-law!
-Kane?!-Marie raises her eyebrow-What're you calling for?
Kane at the another line answers:
-I just had a trip to Cluster, seeing my brother in one piece!
What? Marie self-thought. Koith's alive? If Kane said it, then it must be...Oh my...! Marie's intuition was right. Her spouse was a die-hard, and he always did from time to time. Staying calm for a while, the girl continues:
-You know where is he now?
-In my palm of hand, of course!-Kane says with a sigh-Anyways, he gave you his tag, and I'd put it back to your quarter. Just get back retrieve it! I'll update you more about his status.
-Thanks, little brother! I owe you one.-Marie happily nodded.
-A little thanks for my big bruder as he saved my life!-Kane smirks, then ends the call.

Vega paced around the makeshift floor of the War Room. Her face was one of concern.
"I think mom will--or is--going to attack the Earth after what happened here." Vega said, turning to her husband who was currently sitting at the holoprojector, studying the hologram of Cluster Prime.
"Shouldn't we go and find her and stop her?" Eric asked.
"Remember the last time mother and I fought? I nearly killed her! I don't want to do that again."
"We'll figure out some way to resolve this peacefully. As you said, you rule with love and compassion, while your mother ruled with hate and brutality."
"You're right, honey. I'm queen of Cluster Prime. I'm not my mother. Whatever has happened, can be resolved with love and kindness." Vega said.

The next day was Vexus army ready to occupy the whole Earth. Meanwhile in vexus office. "Is my army ready?" said Vexus. "Yes, my Queen." answered solider on the other side of the transmitter. "Good" said Vexus. "Now, I'll be finally the QUEEN OF EARTH!!!" she said and started to laugh diabolically. "The Earth will be finally mine." Uh... wut?

(OOC: Sorry for the delay, my big bassoon solo was today so the last few days have been dedicated to it. (Got a I, but was kept out of automatic-state by a dude with a I+) Second, I don't think Hanes was up to anything malicious, we probably just need to explain the forum rules for RPing.... anyway...)
Bullet watched in disappointment as Gene walked away.
Well, there goes another opportunity. Perhaps I should just go there myself. The more I've calculated these circumstances, the more I realize that this whole scenario is too dangerous for me to let Viktor go. I don't need to have a friend's blood on my hands... friend...
Bullet saw Plink make his way through the crowd to where he stood.
"Sorry, Plink. Gene's got nothing for us to do at this moment, though he said he'd ask if he needed any help. In the meantime, I guess we either wait or we can just go on our own. Though keep that quiet, I don't want Viktor getting in over his head."
As if on cue, Viktor came running back to where Bullet and Plink stood. Bullet re-explained the circumstances, omitting the part about travelling on their own.
"So," Bullet said to both. "What shall we do now?"

"Take a look around? I have never been out enough to explore the city." John said.

Gene was soon back on the road, returning to the safe house with little more information than when he left. As he drove through town, his phone rang, and a quick glance at the caller ID told him who was calling. "Hola, Firaga. How are things?"
"GREETINGS, HUMAN," the Cluster's intel chief said in his trademark monotone. Firaga thought it made him sound more authoritative. Gene thought it made him sound stupid. "I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH OUR OPERATIVES IN CLUSTER SPACE. THEY HAVE BRIEFED ME ON HER MAJESTY'S ACTIONS SINCE THE ATTACK BY THE EARTHLINGS."
"And?"
"FIRST, THE BAD NEWS: SHE IS INDEED ORGANIZING A MILITARY RESPONSE. FLEETS ALPHA AND BRAVO HAVE BEEN SCRAMBLED, AND HER OWN FLAGSHIP HAS BEEN PREPPED FOR BATTLE."
"Tell me something I don't know. If Operation Hornet doesn't scream 'casus belli,' I don't know what does."
"UNDERSTOOD. BUT AS IMPLIED BY MY EARLIER PHRASING, THERE IS GOOD NEWS: MY SOURCES INDICATE THAT HER INTENT IS MERELY TO EXECUTE A SHOW OF FORCE, NOT A FULL-SCALE COUNTEROFFENSIVE."
"Meaning?"
"HER SHIPS WILL DARKEN THE SKIES OF THIS WORLD. IF ALL GOES ACCORDING TO PLAN, HOWEVER, NO SHOTS WILL BE FIRED AND NEITHER ROBOT NOR HUMAN WILL BE HARMED."
"Oh. Good. So what's the plan then?"
"UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME. MY SOURCES BELIEVE SHE WILL USE THIS EXERCISE TO ESTABLISH A POSITION OF POWER FROM WHICH SHE WILL ATTEMPT TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE HUMAN LEADERS. UNFORTUNATELY HER DEMANDS ARE KNOWN ONLY TO HERSELF."
"So she may want every last Yankee to bow down before her."
"AFFIRMATIVE."
"Or she may simply want five bucks and a handwritten apology."
"AFFIRMATIVE."
"Super. Well, see what you can do about finding out what she's gonna ask for. I'd like a little bit of time to prepare myself if her demands are too outrageous."
"UNDERSTOOD."
"In the meantime, I have a present for you. Her Majesty sent me the dog tags from the guys who died in Operation Hornet. I figure you can make copies of them for your records -- and for history to remember the cowards and fools who got us into this mess."
"AFFIRMATIVE."
"Of course, you'll have to mark down the survivors as well, and there's at least one MIA: their commander, Blue Metal... Koith... whatever."
"YOU MEAN MODEL NUMBER KM-08?"
"I... the do what now?"
"KM-08 HAS ASSUMED THE CIVILIAN NAME KOITH WAKEMAN, NÉ STEINER, AND WAS DESIGNATED 'BLUE METAL' BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE. THIS INFORMATION WAS IN THE DOSSIER YOU WERE GIVEN."
"Yeah, I, uh... I only sorta skimmed that thing." Gene snickered.
"WHAT DO YOU FIND HUMOROUS?"
"Oh, nothing. I just -- I just realized something. If things go south, as they almost certainly will, this wouldn't be the first time a Nazi's act of aggression has plunged the world into war."
"A SIMPLE COINCIDENCE. YOU HUMANS ARE TOO EASILY AMUSED."
"Hey, it's how we keep ourselves sane...ish."
