((OOC: Thanks to Champ's advice and a long time of thinking, I hereby declare that "Voice of Thunder" is now online.)) Voice of Thunder Cluster Space Territory,
From the dark of the endless void, a light suddenly struck. Then, spaceships. Fleets of spaceships. They're now heading toward a small mining colony of the Cluster.
"ATTENTION ALL WORKERS! THE BASE IS UNDER ATTACK! EVACUATION IMMINENT!"
Inside the command center, sirens sounded, the worker droids ran into the shuttles and escape pods, leaving behind their tools, gears and the labor schedule which not just finished yet.
On the surface, that black armada, its ships started bombarding the surface, creating more holes and craters than ever. The Cluster defense system resisted weakly, not even scratching the hull of those ships.
BOOM!!!
Finally, the shield generator gone down, and now the ships concentrating their fire toward the command center. Fortunately, the base commander, he had made himself enough time to the last escape pod, those little pips rushed into the asteroid fields and quickly disappeared, leaving behind the rubble to the unknown enemy...
Neo Berlin Islands. Location...unidentified... On this volcanic islands where the magma was still hot and deadly, many armored vehicles emerged from the deep blue sea, bearing the sign of Reichmacht. Terraforming the terrain, the soldiers had chosen a largest sector to be deployed, they're making signals for the others. From the shoreline, the Nautilus II class submarine, with the tracks down to the sand, now crawling to that position. Into the place, it's body emerged, into a new command center. As the same, many smaller submarines go on, following the terraformed path, they'd established their own factories, barracks, dockyards, mining and production structures,.etc. Seeing the whole progress from the top of Nautilus II flagship, Kane smirks... ... Tremorton, After the nights under thousands feet of Atlantis, also the building where a strange alien hostage crisis happened, Koith and Marie are now staying at Mezmers, enjoying their free time after work. Looking to the election result, Koith lost. Of course he was lost, since he got nothing about election speeches and ways to help rising himself, also non capitals willed to vote for him, since his orientation will ruin their businesses if he got into The House. The neighborhood also worried about the appearance of Junkerton nearby their houses, since the parents won't be happy to see their kids playing with the soldiers. So, with many signs collected, they'd done it, Junkerton temporarily ceased their operation, Grinder also got another appointment, back to Fort Bragg. The thing is...boring...Kane and his Reichmacht stayed silent after the things in Atlantis. Don't know what he will use those ancient technologies.

Champ sat flipping through his phone at Mezmers, trying to find something to do. On the one hand, he was glad for the time off, he rarely got any, and it was a nice chance to spend time with his good friend Azure. The only problem was that he'd actually had plenty of time with her lately, and while her company was enough to make him happy, they were running out of things to do.
"Wanna' go see a movie or something?" Champ asked, looking up to see Azure looking at something on her own phone.
He sometimes wondered if they should have a no-phone policy when hanging out. It certainly made their interactions seem a lot more strained than they needed to be.
"We've already seen pretty much everything worth seeing," She said, "Unless you really feel like going to Paranormal Incident 5."
Champ turned this idea over in his head lazily for a few moments before shaking his head.
"Maybe go to the mall?" He suggested.
"Didn't we do that yesterday?" Azure asked.
Champ's frown deepened, and he shrugged.
"How about we go to your house and make fun of whatever bad movies we can find on demand?" He suggested.
Azure looked up from her phone, a small smile on her face.
"Now that sounds like a plan," She said.
Champ smiled back, glad that such a simple suggestion was all it took for them to have fun. He started to get ready to leave, but Azure still seemed transfixed by something on her phone, and he froze. He knew the look on her face. It was the look she got when she'd just found something juicy, and her reporter instincts kicked in.
"Apparently there was an attack on a Cluster mining colony," She said after a long moment, finally putting her phone in her pocket.
"I didn't see anything on the news about that," He said.
"You wouldn't," She said, "The report just came in from Skyway Patrol intelligence."
Champ nodded, realizing that made sense. Then he raised an eyebrow.
"If that's the case how do you...," He started, but Azure was already ahead of him.
"Your sister really needs to stop leaving her Skyway sign in information on her desk," She said.
Champ frowned, annoyed that Azure would resort to such a dirty trick, even though he knew it was in her nature to do so.
"Blair's going to kill you when she figures out you took that," He pointed out.
"Not if she never knows about it," Azure said.
Champ's frown deepened, but Azure simply rolled her eyes.
"Look, it's not like I'm going to use it to leak any stories, I just want to know what's really going on out there in the universe," She said, "We live in a galactic community, and the Earth has done a terrible job keeping people informed about what's going on in the rest of the cosmos."
Champ smirked a little at this. He could just see her future now:Azure Skye, Intergalactic Correspondent for the Tremorton Times.
"So why exactly does Skyway care about this?" He asked, "And how exactly did we get this information to begin with?"
Azure shrugged.
"We care because we're allied with the Cluster now," She said, "And we know this because back when we weren't we littered their space with reconnaissance drones, and one of them happened to pick up the attack, but that's really not the point. You're missing the big question."
Champ nodded, immediately knowing what the big question was.
"Who'd be stupid enough to attack the Cluster?" He asked.
Azure's smile widened, and she nodded back.
"Bingo."

"WELDING TEAM TO SECTOR THREE."
An announcement rung out through the G-Force hangar as technicians worked to repair their robots from the most recent trials. Jericho personally oversaw their reconstruction efforts, making improvements wherever possible on a design that was thought to be perfect.
"Servo performance has been below par, so I want those parts replaced as soon as possible. Once you replace them, see if we can link the main reactors to boost output when they combine. If that works, we'll install the--" He paused when he saw a familiar high-ranking Skyway officer enter the hanger and approach him. "May I help you?"
"We have reports that the Cluster have been attacked by an unknown force," He said, "It might be another space monster, so we're asking for your help."
"You must be aware of how most of our main forces are in disrepair, right?" Jericho raised an eyebrow before casting a demonstrating glance around the hangar.
"But not all of them." The officer gestured towards G-Force's flagship, the Gotengo.
"I'm afraid I'm not going to risk our last defense," Jericho remained stern, "You can borrow some of our Lone Star units and Rumbling but that is it."
"Rumbling?"
"One of our mass-produced battleships," Jericho explained, "It should prove sufficient to counter most monsters."

Suddenly, a transmission from Kane stopped the recent boredom of Koith and Marie:
-Bruder, I got grave news! Queen Vexus wants to see you!
-Isn't that a grave news?-Koith rises his eyebrows.
-This is much graver than you'd expected, KM-08!-Suddenly, Vexus stolen Kane's spotlight. Something looks so serious on her face-One of my colonies in the Space have been attacked by a mysterious fleet! If without the proper countermeasure, Cluster Prime will beneath their hands.
-But isn't it your own affair, My Queen?
-My own affair?-Vexus seems annoyed with this-Since we and you Earthlings still have an alliance treaty, excluding your US. And I don't make sure that they will ignore you!
Well, that sounds better. She means if the Earth itself doesn't act to support the Clusters, those anonymous fleets will seek for their remaining alliances, even the Earth are one of them. Koith asks:
-So, you're now having fun with Kane, right?
-Having fun?-Vexus could bear this kind of funny jokes-I'd just received this news while myself visit Neo Berlin for techs trading! Tell me, KM-08. Do you help me or not?
-Helping the alliances is one of my pleasure, My Queen!-Koith smirks-I will send your words to the UN and the Capitol. But I don't think the US will send some men to you!
-So make your words!-Vexus groaned-I'm now heading back to the Prime!
Transmission terminated. Then, Koith stands up, saying:
-I will meet the Big Bosses! You could have a rest here!
-Oui!-Marie nods-I could handle myself!
Then, Koith left Mezmers in haste. Seeing around, she's looking for a friend to have a chit-chat.

(You want me to edit/rewrite my post to exclude Skyway and by extension G-Force? It seems like you don't want America to get involved.)

((To be fair, I didn't think G-Force answered to the US government, and Skyway is an international organization, and in my mind they always answered to the UN. That said, we are running into some issues in that Vexus doesn't actually control Cluster Prime, Vega does, and Vexus has been limited to her own stretch of Cluster space...and at one point she controlled part of Europe, but we all seem to have forgotten about that plot point since the RP it happened in never really got finished.))

(Normally you'd be right, Champ, like Skyway they'd answer to the UN. However, complications that come with their sitnature robots mean that they need to follow certain rules in order to continue operating in the US.)

((Ok, so now we know that both Skyway and G-Force will be a part of this battle against the unknown.))
Now at the White House,
Koith is now standing before the newly-elected President, he reports:
-President! We'd already known what the Clusters had brought to our country recently. But, they're now defending for our sake, also for the whole of the Earth! A mass of alien fleets is now attacking Vexus and her citizens. If we don't act soon, there will be an imminent threat for us!
The President pressed his chin. First day at the Office, but he had faced such terrible diplomatic affairs. At the time, the National Defense Advisor argued:
-This is the intergalactic affair, Blue Metal! Yet recently, all of our relations to the Old Clusters had been dismissed. Also, Queen Vega of the New Clusters could know how to help her mother!
Koith tried to persuade:
-I didn't even met Queen Vega in real life, but that doesn't mean we just stay here and watch the whole things! We can't just sit here and watch our allies in peril!
The advisor continues his argument:
-According to your sayings, those unknown just only destroyed some Vexus mining colonies, right? With these mere progress, the Clusters would prepare the countermeasure easily! Also, we don't see our cause to join this war. Think yourself, Blue Metal! How many more brave men you want to throw into this war? How many families will suffer the loss of their sons, daughters, wives, husbands, aunts, uncles, nieces?
-But, in exchange!-Koith stressed-The Clusters will lose everything, even more than families! Their entire civilization!
"Enough!" The President halted this argument, he needs time to think, then saying to Koith:
-I know your enthusiasm to recover our relationship with the Clusters, Blue Metal! But, recently. We'd just passed the war with them, yet many families didn't forget their loss! I don't think your suggestion could be accepted at this time!
-But, Mr. President!
-Sorry, Blue Metal! Dismiss.
He doesn't want to hear anymore. Sighed, Koith nodded:
-Copy that.
Then, he left the Oval. President refused, so the Capitol will. The thing is, the entire US refused to get their feet into this war. Finding a secluded place to prevent the curious eyes, Koith turns his comm on, contacting to Kane:
-The Prez refused?-The black adjutant started.
-You could find yourself as a fortune teller!-Koith smirked.
-I want to report, bruder! Our BOC finished silently, yet our men are eager to fight! You could make yourself an order now. Be advised, the US knows how you feel, they shall watch your back!
-Danke, bruder!-Koith replied-Keep me updated about the Clusters!
Then the transmission terminated. If the things as what Kane said, Koith must be under surveillance of the CIA. If he does something stupid, they won't let him relax.

Back to Tremorton, Koith heads into the Skyway HQ. At the reception, he says:
-Please, could you help me to meet General Armedes? I have some grave news for him!
The receptionist looks into the schedule, then asks back:
-Did you arrange an appointment with General, sir?
-Uh, nein!-Koith shakes his head.
-I'm sorry, sir! But if you don't have any appointments, you can't meet General!
-But, this is an urgent thing! You don't know what you are delaying, lady!
...
At the same time, the unknown fleet, which had attacked one of Vexus mining colonies, now amassed at the orbit of the New Clusters. From the side of the ships, plasma bolts started raining down to the surface...
((I don't want to violate Omnios' control with Vega, so just only these words))

Val sat with his co-pilot, Selly, just chatting at Mezmers.
"So, what have you done with your spare time since our ride got wrecked?" Val said casually while taking a sip from his milkshake. "Ahh, it's been a while since I had this. Most of the time it's just cheap champagne."
"I've been maintaining my equipment, it's rare when I get an opportunity to be so thorough," Selly said in his typical monotone.
"So you've been polishing your guns for the last month?"
"No, I had finished with that in the first week."
"...And what have you been doing since that first week?"
"Sleeping, eating, and waiting," Selly looked down briefly before returning his vacant gaze to Val, "And now I'm at Mezmers with you."
Val could only stare at Selly with wide eyes and mouth agape.
"You really need a hobby, my friend," Val said to finally break the silence, "Or at least a day job. Hell, Agai works part-time here."
Just as Val finished his thought, a rocket-propelled fist came to their table carrying a refilled glass of Val's milkshake, placing it surprisingly without spilling any while also taking the now-empty glass back to the counter.
"Thanks, buddy!" Val shouted to a diligent Agai, the double-amputee giving a brief thumbs-up with his other hand before returning to work.

((Gee, if only we had a rule about control of canon characters that had been recently established and can be referenced...)) Blair frowned as she walked through Skyway Patrol HQ. The truth, she knew, was that the Patrol was currently exhausted, with the Cluster's brief invasion having consumed a lot of resources and having limited the area's available forces. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, after all, all it meant was more patrols for her, and while she disliked being stuck doing them, she could at least stomach it, but the report that had just reached her e-mail made it clear that her life was about to be a lot worse. Someone was attacking Cluster mining colonies, and while that normally wouldn't be an issue for the citizens of Earth, the UN's desperation to show the Cluster that they respected their new alliance meant that they'd likely deploy Skyway forces to intervene, which likely meant that Blair herself would be forced into space for a few months to fight in a bloody conflict for a bunch of robots who wanted her and everyone she knew dead a few months ago. In short, she wasn't very happy with the idea. On top of that, it made her day hell, as she had to ditch an early patrol to go to a briefing from General Amedes that would likely end with details on her deployment, and then she'd have to do an additional late patrol to make up for lost time. She sighed as she walked into the lobby, hoping to get a moment of peace in her hectic day, only to find Koith waiting at the front desk, yelling at the receptionist.
"Tell you what," she said as Koith finished speaking, "Why don't you tell me what's so important and I'll pass it along to the general."
She had to admit that she wasn't exactly trying to do Koith a favor by doing this, even if that appeared to be the case. In truth, she was still pretty mad at Koith for killing a couple of decent officers a few months back, and she was still absolutely livid about his positively stupid decisions during the Cluster conflict, decisions that had cost plenty of good men their lives. The last thing she wanted right now was for him to have the ear of the highest ranking officer in Tremorton. After all, there was no way of knowing, but his madness might just be contagious.
