(My most likely pathetic attempt to breathe life back into this forum. Here goes nothing!)
It was a normal day for Tremorton. The regularly-scheduled bank robbery at 8:00am, repelled by "Jenny" XJ-9, another starting at 12:00pm, repelled by XJ-0, followed an alien invasion at 1:00pm halted by the combined effort of Vector and G-Force. All metas. All on a level beyond what normal humans could achieve. Many celebrated these metas as pillars of the community, but many more feared them. Few, however, would see them as a sign of things to come. One went on to recreate G-Force as it is today, a safe heaven for metas to safely grow and hone their abilities. The others created a far different organization.
---
"And then I tied a lamp post around him!" Jenny said, giggling.
"Uh, yeah, we can see that, Jen." Brad pointed to the criminal with a lamp post tied around him outside.
"Yeah, but there's usually about five of them." Tuck added, sipping his milkshake.
"Oh yeah, Zero and Vector got the others," Jenny said, "Having so many heroes around is great! I actually have time to do other things than homework and saving the world now! I've actually had time to write and publish a novel!"
"Huh, so that's what Sheldon's been reading," Brad confessed, looking over at the boy in question whom has his head buried deep in a book with MY Life as a Teenage Robot on the spine. "I thought he was just being creepy again." Suddenly, one of Jenny's alarms went off.
"Welp, I gotta turn this guy in before visiting hours are over," Jenny got up and hoisted the immobilized robber over her shoulder, "See you tomorrow!" The sun set as she walked to the police station. Soon enough it was night and Jenny dropped off the criminal at the front desk. As she exited the building Tremorton seemed to be covered in a black fog.
"That's weird..." as Jenny transformed her pigtails into boosters to fly home, she suddenly felt a strange, burning feeling through her body. After a few sparks exploded from her systems short-circuiting, she plummeted into the ground. Groaning in discomfort, she got back on her feet and took in her surroundings, barely being able to see a few feet in front of her. Instead, everything was obscured by that black fog. She transformed her arm into a laser gun, but that too soon short-circuited and exploded from overload. Jenny suddenly hears loud footsteps as a silhouette approaches her, towering over her and glaring at her with yellow eyes. A mechanical shriek echoed through the night, followed by Jenny's own screams.
---
"Hey, what's going on?" Brad said, fighting through a gathered crowd to see what the fuss was about. It didn't take long until he came across the center of the crowd. There, guarded by combined Skyway and G-Force soldiers, is where the remains of XJ-9 lay. Brad felt himself get pushed aside by a concerned Nora Wakeman.
"What is going on here--Oh no..." Nora stared at the junked parts, the blue sheen of the wakemanium alloy worn away and burned.
"Ah, Ms. Wakeman," One of the soldiers stepped in front of Nora, "I'm sorry about what happened, but this doesn't mean that Jenny is gone."
"Oh yes it does..." Nora said, pointing to a specific piece of wreckage. "That is XJ-9's battery pack. I don't need to tell you that she can't survive without that."
((OOC: Of course Jenny isn't dead.))

It had been a while since Jakob went on an old-fashioned vigilante patrol. It was fitting that it was also the first time he was heading out as this new being. He packed the sawed-off scattergun with rubber shot and a pistol with more lethal ammunition. The armour’s plated storage system had been replaced with an unusual void that seemed to absorb most everything he puts in it, and he could produce the very same items at a later time. The main advantage of this was that he was ultimately lighter on his feet.
The weather was not too swell, however; There were very dark clouds above. There was thunder and the preceding light, but it did not rain. Unless there was a more appropriate time to announce a tornado warning, today was a perfect time.
The news spread quickly, easily overwhelming the news of the cryptic slaughtering of a galactic creature beyond the edge of the universe, only on account of how local and familiar it was. XJ-9 was down. Early reports say that there appeared to be no collateral damage, suggesting an effortless fight.
There were a number of questions crossing Jakob’s mind. Who did it? Is the culprit part of the known Rogue’s Gallery, or a new face? Why her in particular? His now-non-mechanical brain seemed to run through different possibilities at an impossible rate. He was not used to it yet, so he tried to flush all thoughts out and focus on what was in front of him: A crowd constantly forming around the crime scene.
Meanwhile, with so much attention diverted here, local crime might have a small opening to pull off gigs by using the distracting event. This was ultimately secondary to the one concern he cannot let go:
How have his friends and allies taken the recent events?

Neo Berlin,
It's been a long while after the Azernian Invasion so Koith had lots of things to rebuild Reichmacht back to its glory under the new gaming rules set by the UN. Fortunately, after Kane's escape into another refuge in the galaxy he left a massive cache of weapons which can only be traced by Koith and KM-08 by using all his tricks and finally kept those for Neo Berlin as the warning to everyone who trying to take the advantage of Reichmacht during this state of weakening. Furthermore, by spending less for military researches now Koith could commence more projects focusing on environmental friendly industry thus increasing their capacity and efficiency. And this day, the first thing to be remembered during the time of Neo Reichmacht was the celebration of the birth of condensed hydrogen battery. Safe, cheap and reliable, this will lead the humanity into a new era when everyone could use renewable energy even the poor countries under Helfende Hande - a special aid program previously led by Kane dedicating to the poor and developing countries in the aspects of healthcare, education, sanitation and cheap renewable energy sources and infrastructures,.etc. And yet he's keeping up his work until he saw the news.
"Tremorton..." that crazy place where he first made a stand in this new body. It was crazy but it left for him memories to reserve for, especially he's having few good friends at that place especially XJ-9. Putting his work to the subordinates, Koith stepped through the warp gate - a gift from Vexus for liberating her Prime from the Azernians. And now, he's back to Junkerton, his old military base where he firstly called it home.

"I'm glad you could help us with the investigation, Ms. Wakeman," Jericho said to a crying Nora Wakeman, still at the crime scene, "But before I can let you do anything, I must inform you that if we are to make any progress you must put your emotions aside." As he said this, Wakeman bawled with dismay, taking a tissue from her pocket and noisily blowing her nose.
"I remember when I first built her," Wakeman recalled, "Those first few days of training, how clumsy she used to be, but she got the hang of it and could tango with the best of them!" She blew her nose again.
"Ms. Wakeman!" Jericho shouted, finally getting her attention. "Please, this investigation is very important, Jenny might just be the beginning. What if all the Tremorton Heroes become targeted?"
"...We can't let that happen," Nora wiped away her tears, "Alright, what now?"
"Well, first you can tell me anything you notice about the remains." Jericho looked over the junked parts as he and Wakeman walked over the security tape.
"Hmm..." Wakeman looked over the wreckage, bending down on a knee and picking up a mangled arm. "Well, for one these burn marks aren't caused by any kind of laser or flame attack. They were caused by Jenny's own circuits overloading."
"Wait, aren't her systems protected from this kind of attack?"
"Yes, something must have gotten into her curcits and tampered with them directly," Wakeman picked up a few unrecognizable pieces. "This is one of her laser cannons, and it was destroyed by that overload."
"And that would explain the lack of a struggle," Jericho concluded, "She was fighting with a heavy handicap and couldn't use her weapons."
"Or fly, or her super strength, she was basically as helpless as an ant under a boot."
"That's bad news," Jericho crossed his arms, "A lot of Tremorton heroes use similar technology to that of XJ-9, and I can't design a countermeasure for the G-Force machines if I don't know what's causing this...Ms. Wakeman?" Wakeman continued bawling in dismay.
"Oh, all is lost! Not even all of Jenny is here!"
"Wait, what did you say?"
"I said not all of Jenny is here!" Wakeman stood up and faced Jericho, "He torso isn't here, her head and other limbs aren't here, who knows where they are!?"
"Ms. Wakeman, do you have any way of tracking or contacting XJ-9?" Jericho held Wakeman by the shoulders, "That might be the key to finding her!"
---
"All Tremorton heroes, especially those of a mechanical nature, are advised to obey curfew," A news anchor said, "If you find yourself in a black fog, seek shelter immediately."

"Dude, did you hear what happened to Jenny?" Agai said to Val as the Mezmers waitress brought them their drinks.
"I know, it's crazy," Val said, "Like something out of a freakin' horror movie. It's got a lot of the robots around town spooked. What do you think, Selly?"
"I don't appreciate you're inference that I'm a robot," Selly answered in his usual monotone, "But the fact that the remains weren't swept up might mean that the perpetrator wanted this to get noticed." Selly took a sip from the milkshake in front of him, when suddenly an explosion outside rocked the streets.
"Never a boring moment around here..." Val muttered, pulling out a compact maser cannon from his backpack. "Let's see what it is this time."
As they walked outside, they saw a reptilian monster eating cars.
"Gosh-darn lizards..." Val aimed the bazooka-esque laser cannon at the beast's ear-like frills and fired, covering them in ice and getting the monster's attention. It turned to them and gave them an angered glare.
"Yeah, come get some, ugly!" Val said, aiming his cannon at the beast's face.

"Explosions?" Koith heard something strange from the far side of Junketon. As his instinct, he drew his Nighthawk out rushing to that source. "What the hell?" he muttered as he saw a lizard-like beast with some car wrecks being chewed in half fighting against someone carrying big gun. That's no good, whoever those guys were Koith must give them some kind of covering fire. But first, finding another less damaging solution to restrain the beast.
"Okay, Lizzie!" said Koith "I know you love chewing cars but please can you chew the wrecks at Junkerton instead? Or else, I shall let you being an owner of the floating junkyard at the Elysian orbit for your whole lifetime."

The lizard paid no heed to Koith's suggestion, continuing it's charge at Val, Agai, and Selly.
"That guy must be new to the whole 'fighting giants monsters' thing." Val said, firing his maser cannon at the ground, covering it with smooth ice. The monster tried to stop at the ice, but its momentum carried it forward. Agai jumped up towards the monster's face and delivered a rocket-powered uppercut, sending it flying backwards. Selly followed up by wrapping his metallic tentacles around the reptile, immobilizing it. Val walked over to Koith.
"Leave it to the pros, little man," He smiled and patted Koith's shoulder, "Hey, you look familiar, weren't you on the news?"
Before anything else could be said, the monster broke free of its bonds, Selly recoiling in pain from his tentacles snapping.
"Selly! You alright?" Agai ran to his friend's aid, who was on a knee and visibly weakened.
"This should heal by tomorrow," Selly groaned, "Concentrate on the monster."

All Tremorton heroes, especially those of a mechanical nature.
Jakob had nothing to worry about in that sense; he was finally complete… and this mystery attacker couldn’t have found out about that. As far as anyone can tell, Jakob’s suit only seemed to have upgraded systems. It was impossible to tell that the inside of the suit was basically a pocket dimension that protected him from attack and the forces of nature.
Such power, Drawl had, and now he was omnipresent- and Jakob only had his word to go by.
XJ-9 was a valuable asset, and with the proper upgrades, she could be a more efficient weapons platform for the anti-Drawl insurance. Finding and restoring her became Jakob’s top priority, in lieu of the Stylus agents who have since spread across the multiverse to experience new things. The Stylus mechs could reach each other through communications, shockingly enough… but it had been a while since they had a vacation.
A reptile was outside of Mezmer’s, engaging against four individuals. Three of which were slightly familiar, and the last was Koith- very familiar to the… android…
Jakob’s armour plates shifted, and he produced his sidearm from the void beneath the plates. With the pistol in hand, he took some deadly accurate shots directed at the lizard’s hind knees. The beast’s rear leg tendons were pierced by the shots, and singed to a crisp by the plasma encompassing the shot. It wasn’t going to be charging any time soon.

"Am I that kind of so popular?" Koith smirked, but right after he saw that lizard broken free he changed the subject "We'll talk later."
Then, he aimed the Nighthawk into the eyes of that monster. He gave a shot, partially blinded that beast so it couldn't rely on its vision now. But as reptiles could trace on the heat, Koith had to make sure that lizard won't have a chance to target properly at least for a while to completely suppress it.
"Acidic ammo..." he mumbled while loading the special magazine into his gun. After that, he aimed down to the lizard's nostril and glands behind the hard-as-rock frills and opened fire. Being hit by those armor piercing ammunition filled with nerve-toxin acid, that beast growled fiercely, terrified the civilians even from miles away.
"Now!" Koith shouted to his accidental teammates "Gun him down!"

Agai did not hesitate, launching another rocket punch down the monster's throat as it roared in pain and anger. It choked on the mechanical appendage for a brief moment before the rockets propelled it further into the beast's innards before exploding out of its spine. Green entrails painted the streets as the reptile fell, Agai trying to flick off the viscious liquids when his hand returned to him.
"Yep," Val sighed, "No kill quite like overkill..." He pointed his maser cannon at the carcass and began to freeze it so G-Force could collect samples later. The ice, however, started to quickly melt away. Val froze it over multiple times, but it became clear that the carcass was emitting immense heat, and wouldn't stay frozen.
"Maybe it's not dead enough," Val said, putting the maser cannon on the ground so he could switch the output setting to burn. He stopped when he saw another, normal lizard scurrying towards the body of the larger one.
Looking around, Val could see hundreds of lizards gather towards the body of the reptilian monster. He squinted his eyes at the carcass, and saw that they were somehow merging with the monster, sinking into its skin before making it bubble and swell. The wound in the monster's back was soon filled with grotesquely boiling flesh, and soon the body began to inflate to double its original size. When it seemed to reach a breaking point, the flesh seemed to harden before cracking open, a reptilian monster even larger than the inflated shell emerging.
"Nowhere NEAR dead enough!" Val said, doubling the output setting of his maser cannon. He fired at the reborn monster's face with enough power to melt granite, but the monster shrugged off the blast. Agai followed up with a doubled-up rocket punch, but both fists bounced off the thickened scales.

"Mein Gott!" Koith was shocked when seeing that scene. Lizards assimilated into that carcass to form another bigger, stronger and uglier beast. Loading another clip of ammo right after one his ally's shot missed.
"Hey!" he jelled "Use the Armor Piercing!"
He then fired a couple of bullets into that lizard. They're bounced off which made Koith using another special ammo: Armor Piercing High Explosive. With the Lunarium cap filled with extremely condensed Lunarium-Hexogen explosive, he hoped it could tear those kind of scales apart for his allies to take the advantage. He fired a couple of bullets into the lizard's knees and tendons again, and the miracle happened with those tiny explosives.

Jakob’s pistol snapped up, directed at one of the lizard’s eyes. With machine accuracy and speed, he took the shot, and pierced and burned the creature’s eye. Afterwards, Jakob holstered the pistol and broke into a sprint towards the beast’s blind side. The plates on the backs of his legs shifted to reveal a set of boosters. With a running jump, Jakob launched himself directly at the lizard. The plates of both of his gauntlets shifted to unveil two emitters. The lizard’s head lurched forward to completely envelop the… android… with its humongous, terrifying maw.
From the emitters, two blades of light-blue hard light flared into existence, immediately piercing two points in the creature’s mouth. Jakob moved further down the creature’s throat, slicing and dicing as he went. The lizard’s tongue tried to shove him out, but the blades simply carved through all attempts at resistance.

Val felt his cellphone ring as he upped the output on his maser cannon again. After firing one shot that managed to irritate the monster, the cannon overheated to the point where it started to burn his hands. He let the weapon drop to the floor and amswered the phone.
"Kindof in the middle of something!"
"Shut up and listen," Jericho said from the other end of the line, observing from G-Force HQ "None of you have the firepower to kill that thing for good, it needs to be completely disintegrated so it can't regenerate. I've authorized the launch of Super X Robo, it should home in on you in a few seconds."
"Huh. Thanks, boss." Val looked overhead to see the three components of Super X fly in.
"Can you pilot, Selly?" Agai said to his co-pilot.
"I can," Selly stood up and boarded his vehicle as it oanded nearby. Agai and Val followed in suit, getting a transmission from Jericho as they took off.
"Use formation 3," he instructed, "The new upgrades have boosted its energy output exponentially, it should be enough to disintegrate the monster."
"Hey boss," Val interjected, "One of our guys is in there, please don't tell me you want us to waste him too."
"Of course not, just get him outta there."
An explosion of light erupted in the sky as Super X Robo formed. It landed in a combat stance as one of its hands transformed into a blade.
"SHOCK ANCHOR!" Agai commanded, the blade launched off into the monster's abdomen, connected by metal cables. It transformed back into an open hand.
"Come on, what's your face, don't keep me waiting."

The interior of the lizard’s mouth and throat was in a non-solid state. The sudden blade piercing through the creature’s abdomen created an opening for all the chunks and fluids to flow out of. Fortunately, Jakob was not that far in. The blade narrowly missed the… android… With a few more slashes, Jakob deactivated one of the hard light blades and used the recovered hand to grip onto one of the cables, ready to be pulled out.
He had already pierced and heavily burned the creature’s brain- near where it connected to the spine- several slashes ago. If it were somehow still alive, it’d be a vegetable by now.

Just look at that lizard, being burnt and attacked fiercely by those guys. Maybe they won't need some mere helps from Koith but at least he needs to put some efforts to gun down that beast. Sheathing the Nighthawk into the holster, he charged into that lizard and threw a heavily Lunarium condensed grenade into the opening, said.
"Fire in the hole!"
The grenade exploded, bursting the lizard's off the ground which flesh soon filled with Lunarium and burning every of its cells above their boiling point whenever there still having some pieces on the ground, thus vaporizing them.
