As Jakob approached, he took note of at least two large mechanical husks, The hulls were partially melted, but the killing blow was an enormous hole that punched through armour and internal systems.
He recognized the hulls. G-Force tech. Have they gone rogue, or are pirates stumbling across old bunkers? Jakob landed close to one dead mech and pried open what was left of the pilot’s seat. The railgun round had clipped the lower half, killing the pilot instantly.
The face was what Jakob wanted, however. He had hoped to find an aged face that could’ve been around when his old reference census was made, but this one was young.
The second mech had its entire pilot’s seat completely buckled-in. Nothing remained to scan except paste. The android could acquire a tissue sample and try to scan it, but the more specialized equipment remained submerged in Bunker V.
“I don’t think you could’ve stood a chance,” Jakob replied to Rey, “G-Force made good stuff, but I’m wondering how these people knew how to operate them.”
When he developed the cannons, the primary focus was anti-air, in the event of alien invasion. This attack came from Earth, down low. The guns could aim low, but with all the buildings around, that would’ve been incredibly dangerous.
Jakob grunted as he slid down the mech and onto a platform. “Salvage and rebuild,” he told the mech.
//AYE-AYE.
The Stylus mech’s stretchy-arms emerged from the front and began picking apart ruins, sorting out materials to be used for reconstruction. Jakob, on the other hand, began scanning for life signs.

"Who..." Jenny starts with a horrified expression, "Who could've done such a thing...?"
"This is... Inhumain.." Tristy ponders, "What would ANYONE accomplish destroying an innocent city, trying to survive in such a harsh world!?"

"Human trafficking," The elder coughed, "Anyone that wasn't killed was spirited away in chains. That's why they destroyed the main ship, no hope for return or rescue..." Lou grit his teeth at that, and turned to the gathered party.
"We're rescuing those people." He said, lifting one of the destroyed mechs out of the water, Silhouette's grip grinding through the frame as it tightened. He saw a different logo, now that the mech wasn't submerged. Next to the G-Force insignia was a crudely weld-on logo that looked like a skull on fire.

Jakob snapped a picture of the flaming skull for future reference. His scans were completed soon afterwards. Only the elder was still alive, but the bodies were strikingly few. The only corpses to be found were ones nearby the turrets.
At least they took down some of them, he had some comfort in that fact. However, they wouldn’t get far.
The android was familiar with G-Force technology. They gave off very particular signatures. They were signatures he had references to, and thus they would be easy to find with a planet-wide scan.
As soon as the Stylus mech finished rebuilding the medical boat and salvaging what medical supplies it could, Jakob approached and called “Planet-wide scan, we’re looking for G-Force tech.”
The mech nodded, and the android boarded once more, and initiated the blink. Soon, the android found himself in high orbit above the Earth.

"Gah!" Lou jumped when he saw the stylus mech blink out, "Eugh, I'm never gonna get used to that..."
---
Jakob's scan revealed smaller pockets across the planet, but they were all dim, inactive and thinly dispersed. One place off the coast of the UK stood out, and it stood out like an inch-wide zit with its high activity and concentration. Another, smaller spot of activity could be seen moving towards the larger blob, eventually re-joining like a suicidal amoeba.

The android hummed thoughtfully as he narrowed his scan to gather greater detail on the UK area. With the moving blob of signatures merging with the larger piece, Jakob activated the blink once more, and emerged at the exact same spot where he had left. The computational power needed to determine such coordinates would’ve been astronomical, but that was the real superpower of this particular android.
“I’ve marked locations for old G-Force supply dumps,” Most of them, Jakob had recognized as old G-Force bases, as of yet untouched. “But a spike in G-Force energy signatures off the coast of the United Kingdom.”
Evidently whoever had reclaimed that technology never expected anyone would be able to track them so easily. “Recommend we move fast, and punch hard.”

"Heck yeah!" Tristy exclaims pounding her fist into her hand, "Let's go kick some bad guy butt!"
"Tristy, let's take this one a bit more serious," Jenny sighs, "So many lives were lost because of this attack.. Best we avenge them properly."
"Ahem*, r-right," She says with a slight bow, "My bad... Let's get going, shall we?"

"Tristy, for the love of crap," Lou dragged his hand down his face, Silhouette mimicking the action, "Anyone that isn't already dead is being held as a slave and forced to do who knows what and you still think this is a game?? Goddamn robots..."
The group gathered near northern France, stopping to see a gigantic fortress surrounded by troupes of Silhouette-type mechs. Thick walls with heavy guns made ground approach impossible, as evidenced by the many craters and sundered mechanical corpses surrounding the fort, while airborne mechs stood hovered vigilantly over the fortress with their arms crossed like bloodthirsty valkyries.
"I think We'll need a better plan than "go in guns-blazing", guys," Lou said, "We'd have better luck trying to out-gun Cluster Prime..."

"One of us could scout around," Jenny says, landing with Tristy on her back, "Someone small, and quiet."
"...Of course..." Tristy says stepping off of Jenny, "I can help with that. I'm sure that with my speed, and good sense of direction, i could figure out exactly what's going on in there. Find the prisoners, report back here, and set up a better plan afterwards. Cool cool?"
"Jakob, Lou, you guys apparently know a thing or two about mechs," Jenny assumes, "You guys have any clue how quick these things' reaction times are? How they work?"

"Well, Silhouette gives me a full 360 view, so don't count on blind spots," Lou explained, "And while they can't teleport, I had to ease up on the throttle a bit to keep at the same pace with you guys, I think only Tristy can outrun them."

“Their armour leaves much to be desired,” Jakob spoke matter-of-factly, “With their numbers and known technology, I am content with twenty kills before my point-defences become strained.”
Stylus troopers excelled in covert operations with excellent cloaking technology and suits that masked their presence across all spectrums. The Stylus Mech, while boasting a cloaking system of its own, was designed as a front-line combatant, with armour more durable than the android’s, and point-defence fields that dispersed laser and plasma energy alike. The Stylus mech hid immense power within such a relatively small size.
It’s a shame I have to scrap them, though. I liked G-Force when they were around. “Slavery is a universally known crime, outlawed in thousands of systems, including this one.” Jakob said, “Let’s let them know that justice doesn’t end with the world.”

Tristy clinks her heels together and gets in a ready stance. "Just say the word. I'll be back as soon as I can, with as much info as I can get!"

Everyone waited for several long moments.
"...Well, go!" Lou yelled, losing his patience. "Oh, for the love of...fine. We'll distract them for you." Lou dashed into the air and brought his clawed shield to bare. With a mental command the claw shot off on a cable and chomped into one of the flying mechs's torso like an angry cobra. Before the pilot could respond, Lou boosted forward to dodge incoming fire. When another mech flew up to meet him, Lou whirled around and slammed the caught mech against his challenger, shattering both foes to pieces and retracting the claw.

Tristy stood there for a moment, watching Lou suddenly attack the mechs. "...And I thought I had short patience..."
She zips through the action down into the wrecked G-Force base.

What Tristy found after zooming through the cramped corridors and bulkheads wasn't what she was expecting. She saw an expansive, bustling city that almost seemed untouched by the destruction that wiped the rest of the world. With how green the grass was and how fresh the paint was on the buildings and yards, it almost looked suburban if it wasn't for the giant walls surrounding the city. Bomb alarms went off across the city, making Tristy flinch.
"We are under attack, all citizens must seek shelter immediately!" Tristy jumped when she felt someone grab her hand.
"What are you waiting for?" The guard said, "Get to a shelter now, citizen! Your life is more important than a pretty view of the city!"
